95. A Reunion to Die for.

If I had to carry this baby for one more day I would blow up the whole palace.

I groaned as I got up, I was currently nine months, three weeks and five days pregnant.

I was, to say the least, annoyed.

" Sagarika? " I heard Yudhishthir mumble in his sleep as I moved off the bed.

" What is it? " I asked, groaning.

" What are you doing? " He asked again, this time sitting up. His bleary eyes blinked at me in the dark.

" I'm hungry, " Was all I said before waddling off the bed. It took me about fifteen minutes to get off, another ten to reach the fruit and nuts stand in the room.

"You should have asked me, I'd have helped. " He muttered, coming back up to me.

" Well, I was not in the mood. " I silently chewed on the grapes while he sat on the archair next to the table.

Which is when I felt myself groaning in pain.

" Stupid kid! Stop kicking around. Come out at once or stay silent, " I exclaimed and Yudhishthir held a hand against his mouth.

" What! " I yelled at him, as he put a finger against his lips.

" Nothing, I just realised how I'm going to be the relaxed parent in both the scenarios. " He chuckled and I grinned at him.

" Just don't turn out like your tatshree and you'll be fine. If you do I'll take them both away. " He laughed out loud at that.

" Oh I know. " He sat up in his seat, offering me a hand to help me back to bed when I felt my saree get wet.

" Yudhishthir? " I said, looking up at him with the calmest face possible.

" What is it? Are you hurt? " He asked, face morphing from amused to worried.

" You might want to call the midwives, " I answered, before groaning, sitting at the stool next to me.

Yudhishthir and Sagarika welcomed their second child, with Saag swearing to never have children ever in her life again while her husband sat next to her, sacrificing his forearm.

The man came out, his eyes wide in joy and we embraced him in a hug.

Poor Saag, her anger flew away the moment she saw her son, her darling child, with incredibly dark black hair. His eyes looked to be blue, but she told me they may change colours as they grow so we shouldn't focus on that.

But if I, his mama had a say, he was one of the cutest children I had seen. And my son, now nearly a year old had welcomed the little child with open arms... Or well, what one could consider their entire body.

The next morning after that, an unusual female made her way into Saag's room, hoping to be a wellwisher.

" My name is Gopa and I love to greet children all over the world. Now a very big bird told me you had a son. So I thought, let me come bless him too! " She exclaimed happily, jumping over to Saag and her son.

Gopa raised her hand, gently passing it over his forehead and murmuring some words, which made his body glow.

" I hope your son becomes just like Narayan. I bless his body to be like his, made of vajr. " She said, her voice was like an artificial one, the one they use to modify a man's into a woman's.

" Thank you devi. " Yudhishthir said, hoping to grant her the same courtesy with food.

She grinned, skipping away to the main hall, while Saag and Devi laughed.

Nearly one year had come to pass here, it was now starting to become serious. Four more, just four. All this while we had to look after our children and be ready for attack. Well, we were together. What's there to worry about.

" If I don't find you by the count of ten, I will call your father Rudra! " Devi shouted. Her and I looked all over the palace gardens for our sons.

" Abhivart! " I shouted, calling for my three year old son who refused to stay in sight.

" Maaa! " I heard a voice called and felt my legs being clutched by two small hands, then, I also felt them soiling my saree.

" Abhi! " I bent down to see my child with muddy hands, one of them reaching his mouth.

" No stop that! "I smacked his hand away from his mouth as he looked at me with wide eyes.

" I swear. That lady's blessing has doomed us all. Blessing him to be like Narayan. Couldn't you take his good qualities? Eating mud." I muttered to him as he slapped his hand on my face.

" Ma. " He said, smiling a toothy grin at me.

" What? You enjoy playing in the mud don't you. Go and sleep in it. Just like your mama. " I said, smiling wide at him as he giggled.

" Ma. Food. " He pointed at his belly and I smirked.

" Oh so now you want food. Mitti kha kar pet nahi bhara? "

( Didn't you have your fill of mud? "

" Nahi. "  ( No) He answered, standing up as he tugged at my hand.

" Mumma food, Ruda food. " He said, pointing at himself and then at a bush behind him.

" Devi! Your son is behind the bushes! "I called to his anxious mother who ran over, chuckling as her four year old son walked out of the bushes, curly hair like AJ's covered in small leaves and bushes.

" Come on you two. " She said, picking him up as I pulled mine when we made our way inside to chaos.

"

Ready the armies! Prepare the cavalry. I repeat - The soldiers have made their fort outside the palace! Ready the archers! " Yelled a guard as me and Devi looked at each other in fear...

" Mandik and Moshtik. " We said simultaneously, before rushing to the main hall where our husbands and the king stood in armour .

" Saag! Devi! Get ready! I have called the others here as well, only Kumari Panchali is yet to answer our letter, " He exclaimed, running over to take Rudra in his arms.

" Now! " I asked, flabbergasted as Yudhishthir nodded.  " They are here Sagarika. The spies have informed us. In a few days, they plan on invading the palace at night, " He answered.

" But wait. Where is the weapon? Surely their target isn't us but the weapon? " Devi asked and I looked at her surprised.

" Why not? They don't need us to find the weapon do they? "

" Look at it smartly Karali. If you and someone else was looking for treasure, why would you kill them knowing that they might not actually know where it is? Why waste your energy there? They should have first moved to find the weapon and own it for themselves, which means they need us, or something that we have, to be able to access the weapon." Manojava answered.

" Your sister is right sakhi. " I heard a voice call as I turned around to see Krishn, followed by,  Bheem, Arjun, Sphulingini and Kaali.

" Then what are we to do? Do we know how to access the weapon? " I asked and I heard another, unknown voice call out,
" Karali, it's your weapon. You know how to access it. It's our blood pact that made the weapon. It's our pact that will release it. " I looked at another woman, one more carbon copy of me, or well, another sister as she walked in.

Like all of us, she too shared a face, but she herself was a blen between Kaali and Vishwaruchi. She had a dusky and simultaneously bright  complexion, which changed colour based on where the light hit her face, almost like a duochrome iridescence.

" Sudhuma, you should have been subtle about it. We don't know who to trust here." Vishwa said, following her inside and Sulo skipped in behind them.

" Group hug! " She screamed, running in to pull us all into one big hug.

It is truly unusual how I felt like I knew these people, yet I had not had stable conversations with atleast two of them.

" Pranipat Krishn. Pranipat Vajji Naresh. Pranipat to all others here. " Sudhuma said, as she came up to us. Her walk reminded me of Mohini's gajgamini walk in Dashavatar. It rather suited her, since the smoke also sways in the air.

A sharp smell of smoke surrounded her, yet it was pleasant. Not for my son as he sneezed.

Her eyes softened as she looked at him with pure love.

" You are truly blessed to have found such love in your life. We are glad that your curse worked out well for you. I remember how much you cried when Dharmendr had left —"

" Alright. Let's worry about the problem at hand. " Sulo said and I looked at her funny.

" Al-alright, " I hesitated, before we all sat at the dining table.

" So what's the plan? " Mano asked and Sudhuma stood up.

" We can't allow them to find all of us together. It's the worst thing for us. What we do need to do is find the weapon. We know it's here in Vajji. But where? " She asked, when Vishwa looked up at the king.

" Maharaj, do you have a temple dedicated to Dharmraj Or Agnidev here? " She asked and I looked at them all with confusion.

" Hold up. If you all are equally important in releasing the weapon, why don't you know where it is? " I asked and they looked at me in pity.

" Karali. That weapon isn't just a weapon. It's a part of your life force. We added our own to mask it's presence. But only you knew where you hid it. Seeing as you are still regaining your memories, none of us know where it is. Especially since this was after Dharma left. "

Why does it all come back to Yudhishthir?

" What's he got to do with it? It was my weapon, I hid it. I'm sure I must have told you about it -"

" You would have had there been an Agnilok left to discuss. " Sphulingini murmured.

" What? "

Okay, so, we see, that Saag is the only one who doesn't have all her memories, but four of her sisters were reborn as mortals, while three retained their usual form.

Also, Saag, just accept it.. You and Dharma were far too close of soulmates for a part of your soul not to be connected to Yudhi.
