Had there been someone else telling me Mini was there, I would have gone nuts.

But this was Krishn. He brought Mini to me.

"Didi? " She asked, her eyes wide with confusion.

I couldn't do anything. My hands were limp by my side as I stood by, confused.

" Go hug her. " My husband muttered, while I nodded my head in agreement.

As I moved, my legs felt like jelly, I was walking like the first time I ever wore heels, knees wobbly.

Eventually, my body gave up as I sat on my knees.

"Didi? Didi! " She shouted, running up to me. Her small hands, well, not anymore, framed my face. She was now a thirteen year old. Nearly two years had passed since I came here, rather we were cutting it closer to three.

" Mini? " I whispered and she nodded her head in agreement.

"Haan didi, dekho na.. Mein aa gayi. Krishan ji ne kaha ki tumko meri yaad aa rahi thi, to maine poocha, mein mil loon?
To wo bole, haan, kyun nahi. Aur mein aa gayi. "  She said, smiling at me.

( Yes didi, see, I'm here. Krishan ji told me that you were missing me. So I asked him if I could meet you. He agreed. Now I'm here. )

My eyes were glassy, as I couldn't see her that well, but all that matters was that she was here. So I pulled her into a hug.

That hug healed all the problems I could ever have faced in my life, my sister, so sweet when I saw her last, a child, now looked much older. She was beautiful, just like our mother. But Mini being here gave me a taste of my home. I always felt, after coming here, that I had more than one home. One in Pragjyotishpur, where my parents accepted me, even if I might have been reserved, they gave me love and support. Then, one with my husband and our family. The last one being her. My only home out of this time.

Wiping my tears, I got up.

" Maharaj Yudhishthir, meet, Saudamini. Saudamini, that is Yudhishthir. " I said and she laughed.

"You know me. I know you. You're the one who acted as AJ bhaiya didn't you ?" She asked and he looked at her, surprised.

" How would you know, I didn't lie about my name, or my self, how did you know I wasn't Ajatshatru? " He asked.

" Because no matter what, if AJ bhaiya thinks didi is not happy, he would bring her papdi chaat. Not make coffee for her." She said and I laughed, my husband, looking affronted before laughing with me.

"Well, yes. Pranipat Raajkumari Saudamini. I am your sister's husband, Yudhishthir. " He said, introducing himself.

My sister rounded to me.

"YOU GOT MARRIED! " She shouted and I cringed.

"You're also a mausi dear Saudamini. Your sister has a daughter too. " Krishn said, adding fuel to the fire.

I sent a withering glare at her, one nearly rivalling the one I was receiving from Mini.

"I know, I'm sorry. I did tell Yudhishthir! He didn't listen to me! " I said, pointing my finger at him.

" No no. I know him. He would have said I'll be sad. I know it's you. You should have atleast asked Krishn ji to tell me. And here I was, telling Mata Lakshmi how I dreamed of wearing a bright blue lehenga with silver embroidery for my sister's wedding. " She pouted.

"Acha, I'm sorry. Now come, don't you want to meet Madhu? " I asked her and her eyes brightened with excitement

" May I? " She asked excited and I nodded, pulling her with me.

We entered her room where I saw Panchali playing with Madhu.

"Panchali, this is my sister, Saudamini. Mini, this is Panchali, the princess of Panchal. She's Arjun wife. " I said and my sister smiled.. I should have specified which one... They both did.

"You're here? Oh you are so beautiful, just like our sister. " She said, hugging Mini who looked at me with a weird face.

Pulling me down by my elbow to her ears when Panchali released her, she whispered, " Is she your twin? How's that possible? "

"That's a story for later. I'll tell you soon. " I promised and she sighed, nodding in reluctant agreement.

"Panchali, I need her to meet Madhu. " I said and she smiled, handing her over to me.

"Ale, look who's here Madhu. Mausi, Mini mausi. " I whispered and she looked around, tracing my voice.

"Can I hold her? Please! " Mini said, excited and I nodded, settling her on the bed, before gently handinf over Madhu to her.

"Hi, I'm your mausi. Saudamini. You can call me Mini, everyone does. You look so pretty. Your mumma didn't tell me about you, so I've come now. Once you grow a bit older, we'll trouble her for it, okay? Pinky promise? " She asked, holding out her pinky finger, as Madhu, my traitorous daughter agreed, grasping on to her finger, laughing at my face.

" You're outnumbered Priye. " My husband whispered suddenly from behind me.

"You're on their side too? " I asked, while Mini laughed and Madhu mimicked her.

"No my love, I'm always on yours. " He said, pecking my forehead.

"Mini, shall we leave? " Krishn asked.

"Leave? What do you mean? She's just come here! " I said, rounding up to him.

"I understand your pain sakhi. But I have a task for Mini -"

"I asked you specifically to keep her out of your schemes. Is this how you betray our friendship? " I asked him coldly and he sighed.

"Sagarika. You have your own tasks right now. Focus. I need Mini for a very important job. Please understand. I'm asking you to trust me. You once said to Sahdev that you trust me lying to you because you know I have a reason for that too. I'm asking you to trust me now. " He pleaded.

"Sagarika, my husband is one of the most calculative men I've met, yet he has the greatest heart in the universe. Trust your friend, sakhi. Trust him. " Rukmini ji said, as she turned me to face her.

"I don't want to let her go. " I whispered and she smiled at me, her face softening as she pulled me into a hug.

" You are not leaving her, she'll just stay in Dwarika, as Arya's sister. You trust me don't you, she'll be looked after for. I promise, I'll look after her, just as you did." She said, pulling away.

"I know she'll be looked after well. I know that. I don't want her to go again. " I, said sternly. They don't get it.

" I know you don't Priye, but think about it, if she goes, she'll learn as a person. She'll meet you in a few years as a true woman, grown. Come, I know it's hard, but it's not as if she's jumping time. We can go meet her in Dwarika whenever you want. I promise. " Yudhishthir told me as I sighed.

"Alright." I said, my lips trembling as I imagined her leaving. She looked so happy, playing with Madhu  as they both lay on their stomachs, with Madhu unable to support her head, so Mini crounching on her palms, laughing at each other.

"Mini, Krishn says you have to go with him -"

"I know. Is it time already? " She asked surprised.

"You knew? " I asked and she nodded.

"Why didn't you tell me? " I asked and she laughed.

"Dear sister, we can go in circles with that argument. But the short and sweet crux of it is, that I came here under the very condition that I would have to leave with him. I tried to barter but he disagreed, saying it would hinder your 'purpose' or something along the lines. I'll miss you too. I love you. " She said, hughing me.

It was all happening too fast for me. One moment I get one of the best gifts of my life and the next it was being snatched away in front of me.

"Al-alright. I love you too. " I whispered and ahe smiled, before whispering.

"You do know, I don't want to be a mausi to just one kid, right? " She asked and I turned red. The kid does not know what she's talking about.

"Mini! " I exclaimed and she looked at me confused.

"What? You are married. Now you can have unlimited babies... " She mumbled, trailing off confused.

" Uhh... Yes, I'll look into that. " I said, covering my face with my hands.

"Is there something I said that's wrong -"

"Nope. Not at all. I'll ask Yudhishthir. He'll.. " I coughed.

"Everything alright here? " He asked. Why... Why do you choose the worst times.

" Haan jiju. I said, that now that the two of you are married you can have unlimited babies. So I asked her for another one to be a mausi to. " She said and my husband, who would normally be just as red as me laughed heartily, while Panchali giggled from behind us.

" Yes, you're right. We're glad you loved Madhu so much. " He said, smiling at her.

She then jumped to hug her.

"You're the best.. Byee. " She said, jpjng along  as Krishn and Rukmini left.

Panchali left to look after something.

"Who told her that! " I asked, sitting on the steps of the stairs as my husband laughed, pulling me into a side hug.

" Children don't know what they say my love. They think it's as easy as buying a grocery, so she said it. It's alright. " He said, kissing my nose.

I picked Madhu is my arms, laughing as she smiled.

" Well, look at that. Papa is smart after all, isn't he. " I teased.

"Pa- pa- pa. " She garbled.

I looked up at my husband, who looked just as shocked as I was.

"Say it again Madhu, I know you're a beautiful girl. " He tried and she giggled at him.

"Maybe it was just a fluke? " I asked, while he nuzzled her nose.

"Pa-paa. Pa-paaa. Papa. " She said a bit loudly, presing his cheeks together with her hand as if assering herself. 'It wasn't a fluke. I said it. Now celebrate'.

"Oh my! Yudhishthir! " I yelled and he smiled, eyes tearing up at her words.

"Yes dearie, I'm your father. Papa. Papa. " He mumbled and she laughed, then garbled another papa out.

"No fair! I cared for you for nine months! " I said in mock anger.

"Yes, but I sung to her. " He said, laughing at her.

" But. Oh I love you two. " I said, squeeling in delight.
