The morning brought me to the realisation that I would not be meeting Yudhishthir Or my brothers for a long time. Which secured the fact that I wouldn't need to bump into  Duryodhan either.

As we woke up that morning, I saw Yudhishthir moving around the room with worry.

"What is wrong? Do you want help? "

"No, I am not looking for anything specific. "

"What are you looking for? Maybe I have seen it. "

" No, no. It's fine. Come, freshen up and come outside. We are getting ready to leave. " He said, holding me by the side and pressing a kiss to my hair.

So I did exactly that and walked out.

Both the mothers were putting tilak on their sons heads, when, " Putri Sagarika, please put the tilak on everyone too. You are like their mother as well, the eldest bhabhishree. " Mata Gandhari said.

Well, this was going to be fun.

I went around the Kaurav paksh first. Literally everyone knows, the things which one doesn't like should be done first, so that, we may hold better memories as we neared the end.

" Just because Mata has asked me to stand here while you do this, doesn't mean you have my respect 'bhabhishree', you are still a woman who might be a local marrying into our family for money, or simply for your own alterior motives, ones which I will figure out. " Duryodhan whispered.

"Again, if I wanted to marry for money, I would marry a treasury, not a man and anyone who has filth in his mind searches for filth in others. Do what you may do. Vijayi Bhav. " I  answered back.

As I walked towards my own brothers and husband, I was met with four annoyed faces. One just looked at his brothers with the look that said, 'I swear if you all weren't my brothers'."

"Bhabhishree. Why did you go to Duryodhan and the others first? " Bheem asked.

" Bheem, any task begun should be done with the ones the mind doesn't enjoy first and then the ones it will. You are closer to me than they are and hence your departure gives me more and happier memories. Hence why I went there first. Understand? Also, once you are back, you need to apologize to Angraj Karn. All three of you. " I said, glaring at them.

"Ji Bhabhishree. We shouldn't judge anyone on the basis of their birth. We will sincerely go and apologize to them. " Nakul said as I went to put his tilak.

"I'm proud of you. Vijayi bhav. " I said, smiling as four of them touched my feet. Still weird.

" Putron. Give them a few minutes alright? " Mata said, taking her four sons away.

" You know your promise, you know your dharm. Don't let your brothers  do anything out of anger only. Stay safe. " I said, putting his tilak.

"I love you too. " Was all I got and that encompassed all what I said. Yes, I know my promise, yes, I won't let them do anything out of anger and I will definitely stay and keep them all safe.

"What were you looking for in the morning? "

" Something to remember you by. "

So I took off my wedding ring and gave it to him.

"Bring this back Yudhishthir. " I told him looking dead in the eyes.

" Alright. I'll see you soon. " He said, walking away.

I felt a pair of eyes on me, so I turned around and said, " Angraj Karn, is there a problem? "

I asked Angraj Karn to accompany me on a stroll.

"Wouldn't your husband and your brothers in law mind if you walk with their enemy? " He asked, straightforward. I like that.

" Angraj, forgive me, but for one, I am not an object or a toy which they can bind. I am my own woman and if they dare to restrict my movement, who I meet, who I wish to speak to who I am friends with, without any real reason,  then they will suffer greatly.
Secondly, my husband doesn't consider you his enemy, my brothers have learnt of the error in their ways. They were incorrect to judge anyone by their birth and will be apologising to you once they are back. Rest assured, if you still hold the same grudge against them, despite their apology and repentance, if you still attempt to harm Arjun, you will face me before anyone. I stood up against Duryodhan on my wedding for my brother, even fought with my own husband the day we got married because of it. So if you dare to do so, or hurt any of my brothers, you would face me. " I said calmly, looking at him.

"Is this a threat Rajkumaari? " He asked, hiding a smirk.

"If you go against my brothers, it will stop being one. " I answered back.

"I apologize Raajkumari, it was never my intention to hurt you or make you feel this way. " He replied with an honourable bow.

" Alright... But this isn't how I'll accept your apology. " I said and he looked up surprised.

"How else? Do you need me to bring you something? "

"No no. I need you to teach me archery. " I said and he looked at me like I was joking.

"You want to learn archery? Why? You have a hoard of soldiers and a hundred and five men to protect you. Why do you want to learn? "

"Does that mean you think I can't? " I asked him.

"No, I don't mean that. It's just -"

"My reasons may even be to kill you Angraj. Now, do you still wish to teach me? Or I'll just ask Arjun once he comes back. "

" Yes, do that. Better, learn the spear Kumari, it'll suit your physical stature." He said, walking away with a smile.

Now, let's talk to AJ.

Sending him a letter, I sat back down, confused. Now what to do?

"Bhooo! " I heard and whipped my head around to see, "Krishn! " I exclaimed.

" Haan Sakhi. You've been calling me for so long, I thought I'll come along."

"I have so many questions, but first and foremost, how is Mini? " I asked.

It had been three to four days since I last saw her, yet it feels like I haven't seen her for four years.

"See for yourself." He said, waving a hand, to open one of his, magic facetimes.

" She looks so peaceful Keshav. I am happy for her. "

"Do you know she misses you daily? Tells Chanchala how her Didi brought her breakfast every morning and came home after work to feed her. You are her mother too Sakhi, don't forget that. She may be at peace with Chanchala but she is at home with you. " He said fondly, as the vision went away.

" I understand. Anyway I have more questions. One, why am I forgetting things? The other day, I was supposed to meet Angraj Karn in the pradarshani, but had no memories of it, till he actually came in front of me. Further, I don't remember anything that happened after this. "

" That's because of the flow of time Sakhi. I may have broken the Samay Chakr to bring you here, but it still will take its own course. You won't remember anything from any story or any history you know. Everything becomes new for you. " He answered.

" But why so? Is that truly the point? You sent two clones here, Yudhishthir and Ajatshatru, so that you have a face that has travelled two timelines, but why the need of two such faces. Both of them have lived in two yugs. Is one of them not enough? "

" Sakhi, there is a reason there are two brothers who are looking for it. They are twins. They want it so that they can use it against you, but they have forgotten the aspect of travelling two yugs. "

"Then why not pick any two people. Why not pick a random set of twins. Why my husband and brother? "

" That I can't tell you about sakhi. You must trust me. Can you do that? "

"Do I have another option? No. So yes. I do trust you. " I said as he laughed.

" I brought you a gift. Congratulations on your wedding. "  He said, drawing a rather elegant box from behind him.

" You've gotten me an organiser? " I asked, excited.

"No you fool. Look inside. "

The box held one of the most beautiful rings I had ever seen.  It was a beautiful flower made of rubies set amongst the framework of gold. It was truly a sight to behold.

" This is so beautiful Keshav. But why a ring? "

" This ring connects you with Mini. Whenever you miss her, hold this close to your heart and she will know you love her. "

I looked up at him with watery eyes.

" Thank you. I can't even begin to thank you for all you have done for me and I -"

"Chup. You are my friend. If you thank me , you're making me a stranger. Do you want that? "

" No. You are my friend. I could never be more honoured. "

"Sleep Sakhi. Life is bringing it's worse on you. You need rest. "  He said, vanishing in a cloud of blue.

By now I was used to the dramatic exits. But his words were stuck with me.

It's worse? What did I do to life?
