Next few days went like that only. Neither Manik softened nor did Nandini tried to talk to him.

It was an usual day. Manik as usual came back home late. He freshened up and came to have dinner. Nandini was sitting with him.

"Manik, I wanted to talk something important," Nandini told hesitating a bit.

But Manik didn't say anything nor he liked at her. Nandini sighed and again told, "Manik, I want to talk about something."

"Say. I am hearing," Manik told still having his food without looking at Nandini.

"Ohh... I was thinking of joining university again. I have already dropped a year. So, I was thinking to continue from there. What do you think? Should I join?" Nandini asked with a hope that may be Manik will say something supporting her.

"Nandini, there is no need of so much drama. I am not interested in your life. I don't want to know what you do or what you don't.

We don't lead a life like husband wife. So, from next time you don't need to ask me anything before doing. You can do whatever you want to do," saying this Manik got up and left, leaving a crying Nandini behind.

Nandini didn't say anything more. But she so wanted to ask him why is he doing this with her? She is desperate to know what's the reason that he is punishing her so bad. She wanted to know her jurm. But she stopped herself from telling anything further.

Nandini also left for her room. She was talking to her mother's picture. It has become her habit, after the death of her mother that she daily talks to her picture for some time. Then she set an alarm for next morning and went to sleep.

Next day Nandini also left for university after Manik left for office. She has dropped a year. So, everyone from her batch is her senior now.

After completing all the formalities, Nandini kept sitting there for a long time. She met some of her classmates. They were glad seeing her back. They talked for a long time. Then Nandini left for the coffeeshop.

It's Manik and Nandini's favourite place. They have visited this place numerous time. They used to celebrate all their special days here. As soon as she entered, all those moments started roaming in her mind. She looked around and remembered every single memory of them there.

Nandini ordered her regular coffee. She was still remembering their old days when her eyes fell on the table which was just opposite of her's. As soon as her eyes fell on the people sitting over there her expression changed from shocked to hurt.

There was Manik sitting over there.

With a girl!!!

He was talking to her with a huge smile on his face.

Seeing this, Nandini was hurt beyond limit. Manik's gaze also fell on her. His expression changed for a second but he hid that soon and turned his gaze from Nandini to that girl. He again got busy in talking with her.

Nandini couldn't see the girl's face as her back was facing her. But she could clearly see Manik. Seeing their behaviour, anyone will think them as a couple.

Nandini also turned her gaze to other side from Manik. She finished coffee as fast as she could and left the coffeeshop. She was not feeling well.

Manik has come to the coffeeshop with a girl. That too in the office time. Buy why did he choose this cafe only? Who is the girl? Does Manik loves her? Is he in some extra marital affair? Is the girl the reason that Manik is behaving like this with her?

All those were the only thoughts that were roaming in her mind. While thinking all this Nandini reached home. There also she could only think Manik with the girl. She was not able to think anything else.

Nandini's hard was paining like hell. She was not able to think straight. Suddenly the rain also started. It feels like the nature also got to know about Nandini's condition.

Nandini's headache increased more. It has become her problem after the accident that she can't think about for a long time. She can't take any tension. She was not able to take the pain anymore. So, she took a pain killer and a sleeping pill, then she lied down.

It was past evening when Nandini got up from sleep. It was still raining heavily outside. Thunderstorms were also happening.

She freshened up and though of cooking the dinner. When she was passing Manik's room, she saw him working in his laptop. She sighed that he is back early today. She finished cooking and kept everything on the dining table.

She stood in front of Manik's room and knocked the door, "Manik..."

"What?" Manik asked rudely still looking at the laptop.

"Dinner is ready. Come," she replied in a low voice and went back to the table.

Manik also came. Nandini waited till Manik finished his dinner. Then she asked, "Who was the girl, Manik?"

"You don't need to know that I guess," Manik told calmly yet in a stern voice.

"Of course, I need to know. I am your wife. I have the right to know," this time Nandini shouted angrily.

"No, you don't. I didn't give you the right ever," Manik also raised his voice.

"You got married to me in front of thousands of people and you are saying I don't have any right? You didn't give me right?" If you had relation with someone else, then why did you marry me? You could have married her only," Nandini could not stop herself from letting it all out. She was really angry.

"I married you because......." Manik was going to tell something but stopped at the mid way and turned to other side.

"Leave it. I am not feeling like talking to you. I am going to my room," he was leaving for his room but Nandini stopped him.

"Manik, stop. You can't leave like this. You have to answer me," Nandini told in a stern voice.

"I am not answerable to you," Manik told coldly with no emotion in his voice.

Nandini suddenly sat on front of Manik on floor with a thud. Till now with a great difficulty, she was controlling her self but she could not hold herself any longer. She died thousand death seeing Manik with someone else.

But may be Manik will never understand that.....

"Please, Manik, tell me, what's my fault? Why are you doing this to me? I will do anything but please stop ignoring me. I am able to take it anymore," Nandini cried helplessly in front of Manik. But he was not affected or may be he tried to show that.

"You will do anything? Sure?" He asked sarcastically.

"Tell me, what do you want me to do that will make you happy?" Nandini wiped her tears and got up.

But what Manik told made her shocked. She looked at him with disbelief.
