When we drove into town almost every corner was covered with different stores clothing stores shoe stores and a movie house we never had a movie house back home but I'd watch movies all the time on tv maybe aunt dot was right about Tulsa after all

I saw a few guys dressed in there Sunday's best walking with there girlfriends and another group of guys that dressed like me leather jackets jeans converse and greased backed hair we stopped at the light when a blue mustang pulled up beside us a few of the same preppy looking guys in the car from the looks of it like the same ones across the street the one with brown curly hair rolled down the window hey ladies nice ride he said while shining his white straight teeth at us thanks aunt dot said smiling kindly where you two gals headed ?? Oh just fat guys burgers she replied while pushing her pointy glasses back on her nose he nodded still keeping his grin on his face well you be careful out here now wouldn't want you two beautiful ladies getting roughed up in a town like this he winked at us and sped off running through the red light

NASH'S POV

What in the world did he mean be careful me and dot have been taking care of our selfs for years after my parents passed away just fine I looked over at dot she was staring blankly out into the road she hadn't said a word since they drove passed us hope she's alright

Dotty are you alright ?? she turned and looked at me yeah sweetie pie I'm fine I'm just a little confused is all I nodded slowly me too and then it was quite again we pulled up at fat guys burgers but that one curly head guy was kinda cute dotty I almost yell I punched her arm while we both laughed until we were almost in tears what ?? She said nothing I chuckled while shaking my head your just insane we got out her truck and walked in the place a simple burger and bar kinda empty but it was a Friday night we sat down in the booth and waited for our waiter a tall and stalky man walked up to our table what can I get you ladies ?? Um I a bacon cheeseburger and chilli fries and a coke for me and turkey burger for me dot tells the man so aunt dot I said while looking at the desserts on the menu when do I start school august 20th ok but whose gonna watch spot when I'm not home I'll take him with me to work and watch him there

Hey dot yeah sweetheart did you see those group of guys with the greased back hair ? my voice almost above a whisper yeah she grinned they were pretty cute I said shyly she laughed so loud the man sleeping at the bar hit his head on the edge of the counter what ?? they were Nash honey she said while grabbing my hand your crazy I am not I whined while snatching my hand away and rolling my eyes at least I don't look like a lady bug I chuckled she smiled and stuck her tongue out

Here yah go ladies enjoy the waiter said while smiling I noticed that he was staring at me the whole time thank you I said while shyly blushing and staring at my hands I looked up to see dotty grinning from ear to ear at me what I said while stuffing my face with cheese fries oh nothing she said while grinning and sipping her coke the whole afternoon was filled with complete gossip and girl talk we almost lost track of time when we both realised we should be getting home to spot as we were getting up I saw our waiter staring at me again I noticed he had straight combed black hair and blue eyes I smiled shyly at him and followed dot out the door we got in her pick up truck and drove home

God I probably had a piece of bacon stuck in my teeth and I smiled at him with my teeth i faced palm myself stupid stupid Nash should of asked for a toothpick I wonder how old he was he looked about 19 or 20 not to bad I am only 17
