We walked a couple of blocks what seemed like almost eternity the boys were all drinking beer and laughing and racing each other up the blocks my feet were hurting me so bad I couldn't take it anymore and paused for a moment panting everyone stopped and turned around to look at me what's the matter Nash pony said while rubbing my back my feet are killing me I whined he chuckled here he bent down to my level you can get on my back thanks pone anytime darlin he said while lifting my thighs up we kept walking until we finally approached the house there were greaser guys and girls spilling out from all over the house laughing and smoking

NASH'S POV
When we stepped into the house immediately I could feel my anxiety start to kick in the smell of beer and and cigarettes filled the air and drunks guys falling over each other I gripped pony's hand while he led me over to couches to go sit down I'll be right back he said ok I smiled it wasn't long before a random drunk guy plopped down on the couch beside me he wreaked of dirty socks and dirty clothes I wrinkled my nose in disgust I looked him over ivory skin looked to be around his mid 20's curly hair he wouldn't look to bad if he fixed himself up a bit

pony  came back with two cups of punch he frowned while handing me a cup who's the bum ?? I don't  know some drunk I suppose I said while taking a sip of punch and snuggling my head on pony's chest pony wrapped his arms around me and kissed my forehead we sat there for a moment watching everyone laughing playing cards and making bets pony I said while tracing circles on his hand how many kids do you want ?? Huh ?? he almost choked how many kids do you want ?? I giggled hmm he said while rubbing the back of his neck I guess one I've always wanted a son really?? Me to I like the name jace he gave me the side eye and chuckled hey I said while punching his arm don't go making fun of my name pony boy I won't Nash he laughed while ruffling my hair hey he said while looking up at the window the suns going down wanna go watch ??

I'd love to I smiled while taking his hand again we stepped outside and sat on the front lawn and watched the sun go down it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen the vibrant orange and yellows mixed together like one big canvas in the sky oh pony it's so beautiful

What ? Pony said shocked yeah I said while nodding kinda sucks well all of that is gonna change how I chuckled every time we see a sunset we'll call each on the phone and watch it through the windows pinky promise I giggled again pinky promise we were leaning in closer and closer to each other but we were interrupted when two bit bursted through the door ha ha woah you two love birds we gotta get yurr brother home he's uh I'm  a little drunk oh boy better get him home pony boy said while helping me off the ground we grabbed two bits arms the other soda pop I yelled don't worry doll we got him dally said while walking out the kitchen with Johnny and Steve and soda

Thought he could handle 12 beers and  a tub of ice cream he's a trooper Steve said while slapping the back of sodas head hey take it easy will yah dally said he could blow any minute we headed out the house we had to stop a few blocks back because two bit threw up and then we had to stop  again because soda threw up we finally reached pony boys house and everyone plopped down on the couch and in the chairs exhausted soda grabbed a ice pack and tossed another one at two we turned on the tv and watched some flicks and talked until I heard the phone ring pony got up and answered hello yeah she's here he looked at me with a more serious face  yeah I'll put her on hold on Nash he said while handing me the phone it's dotty what's the matter ??   pony only shook his head

Now everyone in the room had stopped what they were doing the whole room fell silent not even two bit said anything even though they didn't know what was wrong they knew that something happened hey dotty  yeah I had a great time with the boys I smiled while turning to them ok i'll come home ok bye I hung up the phone and turned towards the guys I gotta get going I'll see you guys later I'll walk you home pony said while joining me by my side the boys all waved and said goodbye but something felt off about them they weren't there usual selfs i walked with pony down his back porch steps in silence

What'd dotty have to say on the phone I finally said nothing he shrugged don't lie to me pony was it serious ?? he nodded how bad ?? We stepped on my porch I'm gonna come in with you how bad pony ?? my voice now cracking and tears starting fill my eyes she wants to talk to  us he said while guiding me into my house

NASH'S POV
when we stepped into my house all the lights were off accept for the lights in the living room dotty and Darry were both sitting on the couch what was Darry doing here ?? And how did he meet dotty I looked at pony who was now squeezing my hand

Hey dot I say while sniffing hey Darry what are you doing here ?? Hey Nash he said while smiling why don't you and pony have a seat dotty what's wrong my voice now shaking sweetie she smiled softly after you left I took spot out for a walk and his leash slipped out of my hand no I said while shaking my head I did the best I could Nash I ran out the house Darry saw me running and tried to help ok I said while nodding did you get him ?? Nash Darry said while placing his hand on my back he got hit by a car at first I couldn't hear him say the words it didn't feel real and then I heard it echoe again Nash he got hit by a car I'm so sorry pony said while stroking my arm for some reason I couldn't cry

My eyes were tearing up but I couldn't even let out a sob if I wanted to dotty got up and pulled a chair up in front of us and grabbed my hand and rubbed it I'm so sorry baby girl she said while crying but all I managed to get out was I forgive you I leaned my head back on pony's chest and let a few tear drops fall pony wrapped his arms around me tightly I've got you he whispered into my ear Darry got up and headed towards the door hey Nash he smiled hang in there kiddo I looked up at him and gave him a half smile hey dar pony said while looking up I'm gonna stay with Nash tonight if that's alright he smiled again just come home when your ready night everyone he said while closing the door

Dotty finally let go of my hand and got up hey you two should eat something she said while wiping her eyes with her sleeve I've got some left over spaghetti in the fridge Or can fix you guys something thank you dotty but I think i'm gonna turn in tonight Nash she's right you should try and eat something I shook my head I just need my bed ok he said while kissing my forehead that's absolutely fine dotty said  while picking up the chair and putting it back in the kitchen she flipped the switch off and headed upstairs good night you two she said while walking upstairs I waited until I heard her door close me and pony sat there for a moment in silence holding each other ready to go up he finally said yeah I sighed here I'll carry you he said while picking me up bridal style pony I giggled what ? He chuckled gotta start practicing I let out a chuckle and what's that supposed to mean ? nothing that we both need to worry about right now

Pony boy you are mystery I giggled while kissing his neck while he raced upstairs to my room he put me down I'm sorry I don't have any clothes for you to wear it's ok he smiled while plopping down on my bed i took my shoes off and threw them in the closet I reached in my drawers and pulled out out and old t-shirt and pajamas I took my crop top off and pulled my t-shirt over when I looked up pony was looking at some old pictures of me And papa and dotty i finished getting dressed and walked over to him and sat beside him this your dad ?? Yeah his name was Antonio oh pony nodded he would've liked you i nudged his arm the last thing he gave me was spot actually before they passed he was the only thing I had to remember them by pony rubbed my back I sniffled  he was like my best friend I'm gonna miss him I sighed while putting my head on his shoulder

But hey I said while chuckling look at dotty her hair wasn't as big when did she start with the big hair pony chuckled after she watched this woman on tv hide a whole skillet in her pony tail I chuckled ever since then she's been hooked we both laughed again and looked at more pictures we should get some sleep pony said ok I yawned my sleepy bear he smiled while laying down on my pillow and my tired horse I chuckled while laying my head down on the other pillow he rolled his eyes and chuckled and pulled me close to him goodnight Nash sweet dreams goodnight pone
