𝐴ℎ𝑎ℎ𝑎,ℎ𝑎ℎ𝑎ℎ𝑎, 𝑂𝑁𝐸!!

   𝗜𝗻 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆, a red echidna sat on a tin bucket—Knuckles grabs a news paper that shows Sonic fighting Eggman in it.

   He sighs at the picture of the blue hedgehog who recklessly fought. Letting the news paper into the wind he thought of his home, Angel island. A floating island that is paradise, then a small foggy image crept in his mind that was a bunny with dull eyes as they stare at the sky...

   Knuckles looks to the side of the thought about you. Making his mind flooded with worries that you forgot about him... Then at the same time he blushed about you.

   His dream land was cut off hearing a foot step in the alley, who crept out the shadows was Eggman!

"Huh?"

   Knuckles growls as he sits up in a defense position. Seeing the mad scientist stare down at him.

"What do you want Eggman?"

   Knuckles puts his fist up. Eggman stood there for a while then breaks down into whinnying.

"Augh! Please help me, Knuckles!"

   Knuckles was confused at this man's actions, then jumps when his gloved hands were suddenly grabbed.

"If we don't do something fast Sonic could make us prisoners on this planet, forever!!"

   Knuckles eyes slightly widens at Eggmans pleads.

"If we can gather all seven of the Chaos Emeralds there's a fighting chance we can somehow reverse the effect that sent us to this world! And return to where we came from!"

   Knuckles eyes widens more and more each time Eggman explains.

"Sonic knew he could use the Chaos Emeralds to warp himself through time and space, that's the reason why he attacked Chaos Control!!"

   Eggman cry's out more.

"He found out that I'd collected all the Chaos Emeralds to keep them out of his grasp! You know how reckless Sonic is?! I was afraid of what he might do if he got hold of the emeralds so I set up defenses! But there was no stopping Sonic, he was determined to push his selfish search for thrills all the way this time! No matter who got hurt!!"

(Omfg I can't believe Knuckles fr believed this man....)

   Eggman shakes Knuckles as he cry's more and explains more of his lies to him, Knuckles being absolute surprised as he heard more of what this egg man had to say.

"Finally Sonic invaded Chaos Control,... And to my horror, he finally achieved his goal! Sonic destroyed Chaos Control and sent us all here just for the fun of it!"

   Eggman finally finishes his lies. Knuckles gritted his teeth in anger of the blue hedgehog.

"Sonic, he's crazy.."

   Eggman wipes his 'tears' with a handkerchief, Knuckles stood with an angry face.

"I've changed my ways and want to live in peace but Sonic won't let me!"

   He blows his nose by his 'emotional' statement, Knuckles looks down in sympathy and sorrow as he smiles down.

   Though Eggman.... Eggman grins at his acting seeing how Knuckles is convince, he felt his plan go into motion.

"What can I do?? He won't even give me a chance to fix things! I want to get us back but when I found one of the Chaos Emeralds do you know what happened?? Sonic SNATCHED it from mee, and said he's going to stay here as long as he pleases!"

   Knuckles felt much anger at the hedgehog, the one he's side by side during battles, the one who has to put up his troubles, and the one he's always been jealous of whenever he sees you and him together....

"That selfish HOG!!"

"He said that we can't leave here until he says so, he thinks this world's a lot more fun than ours and if we don't agree it's out tough luck!!"

   Knuckles growls more and snarls of what Sonic didn't do and yet he stilled believe in Eggman.

"You'd think he'd be more concerned about his buddy, and that cotten–I mean, protect Y/n too instead of putting him into danger! So carelessly too!"

   Knuckles stops at his anger..... Putting you in danger? YOU IN DANGER??

   That flared up his hatred and anger more.

"SONIC ISN'T NOT MY BUDDY!! I'm sick and tired of Sonic turning everything into a game! Even involving people into HIS MESS!!"

   Knuckles yells out, almost spooking Eggman too.

"Either Sonic gives us that emerald or I'm going to take it from him.."

"Be careful, Sonic says he'll crush anybody who tries to get it back. And anyone who tries to take Y/n away!.."

(Ngl he isn't half wrong about the last sentence, Sonic can get a bit protective when seeing you in bigger danger! But he does know you can take care of yourself.)

   Knuckles could thought of you side by side with Sonic who holds you protective in his arms as he glares down at Knuckles, then it hurt Knuckles more to see your face covered in fear.

"So then, a battle to the bitter end."

   Knuckles poses with his fist up. Eggman fake cries again but then later smirks.

'My chronic Sonic troubles are over...'

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗮𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘆, feeling tried after a night patrol in the city and town for any demons. Even emeralds whenever you remember about them.

   Ginko went out in a flight to search for any demons and emeralds. You gazed up at the clouds watching them move slowly, your eyes looked droopy as your tried to stay up, your head sways down and up.

   You let out a yawn, that caught Sonic's attention.

"Hey you good?"

.

.

.

   No answer.

   He sweat drops watching you wobble a bit, then finally you fell to the side where he was and laid your head on his lap!?

"EH?? Y–Y/n?!"

   Sonic's face flushes with blush as he stutters out words, while you let out soft snores. He calms down but was still a bit red, his heart beat fastens as he feels you shuffle to get comfortable, then went back to sleep.

   He just chuckles nervously at you. He suddenly thought of something, seeing your fluff head made him gulp as he slowly reaches his hand out to it,.... He places it down....

   And he blushes more as he pets your head, stroking your long luscious hair as your body relaxes at the touch. Normally whenever he tries to do this when you sleep he'll either be kicked, punched, or be grabbed and thrown to the air or wall!

   This is the first time he gets to pet your hair without you getting all stingy and mean lol.

   He leans back again with a grin of victory being able to touch your head.

   He just closes his eyes to take a nap with you. With his hand still on your fluff head.

   Then Chris and Chuck with Tails run out with laughs.

"Can't we nap in peace? Just be alone for a while."

   He grumbles a bit, and pets your head again so you can rest more. 

   You groan as you sit up from your short nap, rubbing your eyes as you blink a couple of times, then looked down at Sonic who stares back...

   You fell down the other side of the platform.

   Sonic flinches in surprised as he looks down at you.

"Bun! You okay??"

"Don't call me that...."

   You sternly say as you rub your eyes and cheeks, Sonic looks down at you with a worried face but he became more surprised seeing your facing away from him and your hands place on your cheeks...

Were you embarrassed?

   Sonic face reddens again with a still smile of shock, Y/n the cold stern, blunt bunny is embarrassed!?

HOW CUTE!!

   He felt like Amy as he fawns over you, you yourself just rubbed your cheeks because they felt sore from something you don't remember...

   Anyways you perk up hearing a familiar yell from below, you peek down to see Amy.

"Hey guys! You heard the news?"

"Huh?"

"What news?"

   You both questioned.

"We're going to Silver Valley, come along and we'll have a picnic there~"

"But we're going for the emerald.."

   Tails say with a sweat drop. 

"Hmmm, nah I've been there before."

"HUH?? You went without me!?"

   Amy yells out surprised, you thought if you ever heard of a place like that. Didn't paid attention to the rest of the conversation you look down again to see Amy storming off with anger.

   You look at Sonic then back down, shrugging as you jumped down.

"Eh sure why not."

"Y/n? You're coming too?"

   Amy said as her cheeks turn a bit pink.

"Yeah, I don't have much to do... I think?"

"Never mind that! Let's have a picnic together Y/n!"

   Amy grabs your hand which you surprisingly didn't yank it away, you let yourself be dragged by Amy. 

   Sonic watches with a stink eye, he scrunches his nose in jealousy and pouted as you guys run off to somewhere.

   𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻, you were on top of it! The wind blows through you harshly as you held tightly on the metal cart.

   You squint your eyes as you look ahead seeing a stop, so you lower yourself down to not be spotted, you grip tightly when the train slowly stops then comes to a halt.

   Before anyone looked up you jumped off and bounced on the bars and into the forest. You landed on a tree branch and watched the passengers leave, looking for your friends you spotted them, a nervous Chris holding Tails and Amy like dolls.

   You jumped off the tree branch to the ground to see them. 

   You peek behind a wall to see them all sigh in relief.

"I can FINALLY blink again!"

"My eyes feel watery!"

   Both Amy and Tails complained. You just casually walked towards them.

"Yo."

"I wished I went on top with Y/n instead of the inside!"

   You tilt your head at Amy as she clenches her fist. Not really bothering to ask what's angering her because you feel like it'll make it worse. 

"All right I got the equipment ready, let's head off for that emerald!"

"YEAH!!"

"Yay."

   You guys cheered.

   𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘄𝗶𝗰𝗵, you guys found no Chaos Emerald so y'all went for plan B.

A picnic!

   You sip your tea as you enjoyed the coolness and the beauty of nature.

"This picnic was a super idea Amy!"

   Tails takes a bite out of a sandwich who hummed in the taste, you stare at him for a bit then went back to eating your sandwich. You perk up by a feeling and looked ahead of the lake....

   Staring down at it the others thought you were memorized by it.

"Hey Y/n, the lake here is pretty ain't it?"

"Oh, yeah it is I guess."

   You mumbled. Suddenly bubbles formed in the lake, you narrow your eyes deeply at it, feeling something off. Your eyes slightly widens.

"GUYS—!!"

   A explosion of the lake happens, you stand in front of them protective as you bring out your sword, a huge robot comes out then raises its arms to you guys. 

"RUN!!"

   You well out to them, they got up and ran. You clenched your sword and then lifted it up.

'Misty breathing, first Form: Low Clouds, Distant Haze'

   You strike it creating a huge slash on it, the robot retreats its arm back and attacks again, you get ready to attack again too but then suddenly a vine of seaweed grabs your ankle and drags you.

   You were shocked but tried to slash it only to fail as another comes up and holds your arm in place, the seaweeds we're taking you to the lake so you take a deep breath and braced yourself.

   Underwater, you open your eyes to see a demon! A demon who's green like the river, they had small scales like a fish and fins too, they stared down at you with a smirking smile.

"A slayer here? They weren't kidding when a slayer came here too!"

   The lady fish demons seaweeds grips on you tightly, almost causing you to open your mouth.

"Don't worry this won't take long, soon you'll be floating like a dead fish!"

   You grit your teeth and tried to get the seaweed but that only made it to clutch tighter. Your eyes widens by the pain, your head starts to feel light headed....

   You look up the water one last time of the shine light, your body slowly limps, as your eyes drifts to closing.

   The fish lady grins madly as she swims closer. Ready to take her meal as she opens her sharp like eel, opening widely as she swims closer, and closer..

KICK!!

   She eeks when you kicked underneath her chin, her mouth closed up fast when you did so. The seaweeds grip around you loosens, you break free and swim to your sword, that was all the way on the other side and shined by the suns light.

   You desperately swam over there, reaching out for it, then a seaweed grabs you again and lifts you up. You were risen up the surface, you take a deep breath as you inhaled the air.

   Then was dragged down again.

   The fish lady screeches as her eyes slits like a snake, her nails sharpens and her hair flows up.

'Demon blood art; SIRENS SCREAM!!'

   She screeches out loud towards you, you tried to cover your ears by the loud screeching the tried to bleed your ears! A rather good thing was that you're not the only one suffering.

   Up in the surface Amy, Tails and Chris all wince at the screeching.

"WHAT'S THAT AWFUL NOISE??"

"I DON'T KNOW!!"

"WAIT WHERE'S Y/N??"

   Even Eggman—the one who captured them covers his ears in pain too.

"RAUGHH WHAT'S THAT GOD AWFUL SCREECH??!"

   She stops seeing you in pain, and quickly swims at you with speed, she gets ready to claw you and tear you to shred, her nails sharpen, her teeth glimmered by the sun as she opens her jaws.

   Letting out a small screech as she's about to pounce on you! You kicked her again but with much force this time.

   She rubs her cheek where she was kicked and growled.

"YOU LAND DWELLER!! I'LL TEAR YOU TO SHREDS LIKE A BUNNY YOU ARE!!"

   She starts to glimmer as she raises her arms.

'Blood demon art; ELECTRIC EEL!!'

   You never panicked this much before, that you literally grabbed your sword and used her seaweed vines to jump out, in time a huge wave of electric sparks out the river. You landed on land and huffed and huffed, your fur was wet, your long hair was soggy, your dull eyes looked more dead and dull as you looked back up of the river.

"Y/n?!"

   You slowly turn around to see Knuckles and Sonic in fighting stances.

"Ah, hey."

   You say before getting dragged again by seaweed. Their eyes widens as Sonic runs towards you and tried to reach for you.

"Y/N!!"

"DON'T WORRY I'M FIINNEEE—"

   You yell out before more seaweed sprawls out. Eggman watches this all with wide eyes.

'I didn't plan this! What's defeating that Cotten so bad?'

   He thought with a finger, feeling a new idea coming out of his mind.

   You slashed, you kicked, you slashed, and she screeched and tried to drown you many times. Her blood bleeds in the water, you held your breath as long as you can, gripping your sword tightly and feeling tired.

"GIVE UP!! You won't win this without air!"

   That's when you thought of something. You narrow your eyes and then retreated back up, you dodge the seaweeds, you gasped for air as you swim to shore, trying so hard not to collapse, but you got back up on your feet. 

   You run out as far as you can away from the seaweeds that emerged to grab you. You almost felt like this was hopeless but.

"YOU BRAT!!"

   Her voices rages, you turn around to see the fish demon who struggles to get out of the ocean, she then used her seaweed vines and stood talk like a spider which was creepy.

"Who's that!? She doesn't look mobain or human!"

   Eggman exclaims, losing his interest in the fight between Sonic and Knuckles, he examines her as she uses her demon blood art.

'Demon blood art; SIRENS SCREAM!'

   She was about to scream again but a rock hits her forehead, with that amount of strength she stumbles down knockout.

   You toss up a pebble as you stare down at her.

"You keep drowning me which is annoying, and you have a loud voice. Goodbye."

   You sternly say, lifting your sword up with pushed a leg back, then gathered all your left over strength.

'Mist Breathing Fourth Form: Shifting Flow Slash'

   You narrow your run and speed, unleashing your sword in speed, the fish demon tries to adjust her pain on her head but felt more pain that slashed beneath her chin..

   Her eyes widens as her head fallen, then rolls away as blood of blue drips out, you slashed her neck beneath her! You stood then crumble down panting. 

   The fish demons body starts to fade away into ashes, her mouth gapes open as her eyes slowly look at you.

   Feeling anger flushing in her but, soon all that faded away like her head..

   Eggmans looks with shock of this.

'Her body is,... GONE?? AND DID Y/N JUST KILL SOMEONE?? Gee remind not to get on his bad side.'

   Eggman suddenly jumps by loud grunts, he turns around and to forget what he saw, he starts ti cheer for Knuckles.

   You wince by your chest, feeling the struggle to breathe by the amount of times you almost got drowned. Your body wobbles, then near the edge, you fall into the river.

   You'll just close your eyes for a moment... Yeah, you don't care about the water coming through your mouth.

"Nee Y/n you're so clumsy! This is the fifth time in a week you fell in the river bank!"

   A bunny with black fur and mint green patches laughs at you.

   𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗻𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀, they both get off the tree as they stared and smile.

"SONIIIIC!!"

   Amy yells out as she reaches for him, embracing him in a hug.

"You've both made it!"

"Augh, yeah. Knuckles and I had it all under control!"

   Knuckles just huffs with a smile and walks away. Tails suddenly perks about someone who's near river now...

"Wait Y/N!!"

   Tails yells in panic, he flys up and looks for him, all his friends eyes widens of the bunny—you. They all desperately run around to search for you, Chris and Amy yells out your name, Knuckles searches in the trees, Sonic kept running and running all around as he feels his heart beating in fear...

   Tails flys around the river with no sign of him, he jumps by a certain caw.

"IDIOTS Y/N IS THIS WAY!! THIS WAY!"

   Ginko calls out! Everyone all look up and follows her, she soars down where you should be at, over the water...

   Their eyes widens.

"Oh no Y/n!"

"He's drowning we gotta—"

   Before Tails finishes his sentence Knuckles jumps in, he dives down into the water leaving his worried friends behind.

.

   A gasp was heard, they look to see Knuckles holding you with one arm as he swims to the shore. 

   When he makes it Amy helps him and brings you to shore, you're placed down as Tails checks your breathing.

"He's not breathing!"

   He panics, all their eyes widens in fear, Amy was close to tears as she clutches her dress, Sonic yelled at himself in his mind that he should've helped you... Knuckles can feel his own life drowning from him as his fear of losing someone he loves is coming to life.

"KNUCKLES QUICK DO CPR!!"

"W– What!?"

   Tails grabs both of Knuckles hands and places it down on your chest, Knuckles face did slightly heat up but he nods and starts the procedure. 

   He was careful with it to not push you down too hard, Tails furrow his brows hearing no heart beat.

"Knuckles do mouth to mouth cpr!"

"WAIT WHAT??"

"WHAT??"

"EHHH!!?"

   The two hedgehogs and echidna exclaim.

"Just do it QUICKLY!!"

   Knuckles face reddens, he took a deep breath and brought his muzzle close to yours, your noses touches, then finally the tips of your mouths touched... The soft breathe of Knuckles warms your lips....

"WAAAHHH—"

   You sit up and bonked Knuckles head, you both groan as while you coughed up water. You coughed and coughed, and rubbed your forehead.

   Knuckles rubs his with an embarrassed look. Both Sonic and Amy sigh in relief.

"Y/N YOU'RE OKAY!!"

   You flinched when Amy hugs you, she didn't care about your wet fur and soggy hair, just just embraces you with warmth. 

   Making you slightly lean in.

"Pink Uhmm, where am I?"

"Awuhh Y/n, we're at Silver Valley!"

"Oh yeah."

   You say, Knuckles just coughs as he dust his gloves. You side glance him.

"Red why were you trying to kiss me."

"I–IT WASN'T KISS!! I WAS TRYING TO SAVE YOUR LIFE!!"

"....... Okay...."

"HEY DON'T GIVE ME THAT LOOK!??"

   Ginko just caws and shoos Amy away so she can nuzzle your cheeks in happiness and glee of you waking up.

"WAAHHH Y/N TOKITO YOU'RE AWAKE!!"

"I don't remember falling asleep?"

   Your friends sweat drop with small smiles, you pick off Ginko and scratched her feathered head.

   She coos at the affection.

"Y/n what happened?"

"..... I don't remember."

   You say to Sonic, he just sighs and pats your wet head, you sneezed then shivered.

"Oh no Y/n, how you feeling?"

"Cold and tired."

   Tails worry's over you as he asked you questions how you're feeling. Amy runs toy he spot where some of the picnic was at, it somehow remained the same!

"Hey let's finish this picnic while Y/n gets warm!"

   Everyone nods but Knuckles turns around to walk off.

"I can't, I have to look for the emeralds–"

   He stops feeling a tug on back dreads, he winces a bit by the tug then he was dragged.

"Let's go and hang out with your friends."

   You said and dragged him to the area. Despite you being cold and wet, you dragged him all the way to have a picnic.

   You were told to take off your clothes. Yes, because they were wet and baggy, you took off your top not your pants because you became concern when your friends— Amy, Sonic and Knuckles faces looked all red as they averted eye contact...

'I never seen Y/n with his clothes off.... EEEEE THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR ME UWHHH—'

'Why is my heart beating so fast? This feels weird.... Nghh I want see what he looks like—I'LL BE CALLED A PERVERT!!'

'Don'tlookDon'tlookDon'tlookDon'tlook.'

   They were all panicking in their minds.

   You bite on a sweet treat, you're wrapped around a blanket as Chris laid your top uniform on a rock as the sun dried it.

   You nibble the sweet then ate it whole.

"Do you have grapes?"

"Yes we do actually."

   Chris hands Knuckles a container of grapes, Knuckles grins as he takes one off the stem and eats it.

   You shiver more as your arm barely reaches for another sweet.

   Knuckles was about to eat a grape again but he pokes open an eye to see you struggling to get a snack without getting more cold.

   He sighs with small blush on his cheeks.

"Here, open your mouth."

   You look at him to see him holding up a grape up. He looks at you with small blush that darkens/brightens up when you leaned in and chomp on it.

Small puffs floats around you as you hummed.

   Sonic and Amy stares in jealousy as Knuckles hand feeds you grapes. Their mouths almost gaped open when they saw you scoot closer to him when he grabs the sweets you like.

"Y/n try these strawberries!!"

"No try this sandwich!!"

"HEY!"

   Both Amy and Sonic put food near you in hopes you will eat from them, Knuckles growls at this.

"YOU TWO MOVE I'M TRYING TO FEED Y/N!!"

   Knuckles try's to shove them away but falls backwards as they scoot closer to you.

   In your mind, you smirked at this opportunity to eat more, even though you'll forgot about this you sat there blankly as they slightly fought over who gets to hand feed you.

   Chris and Tails sweat drop.

"Are they like this around Y/n?"

"Yup.... They fight to spend more time with Y/n, it's a good thing that they're not too aggressive about."

"Why do they want to spend time with Y/n?"

Tails sighs as he gets ready to expose most of his friends secrets.

"Y/n doesn't spent time with us much because of his secret work, so getting to spend time with him is like a blessing for them. He's hard to make smile or happy because he doesn't show much emotion... To them when he doesn't show emotion, they believe who makes him smile or remember they're the true one."

"Geez, they all must like him huh?"

   Tails nods as he watches his friends pathetically nudge each other to hand feed Y/n while he sat there with a blank/unfazed face.

   𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗯𝘆𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗻𝘂𝗰𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱—but you did heard him.

"I wish Y/n can be with me, during my journey."

   Which made you thought of his small touches, like his head pats, small arm tugs. You've sometimes been with him and what you remembered, it was enough to make him grumpy or happy.
