Nobody pov

Sandy was driving through the vast desert.

The heat is intense, Sandy had the AC on full blast, but the heat wasn't ceasing.

Embry was laying on the floor of the van, sweating non-stop.

Now, here's the thing with Embry when he gets too hot.

He's very sensitive to touch, so if anyone were to rub his head, he would literally melt in their hands.

He was shirtless as well, but that didn't seem to help...Wukong, Mei, Mk and Macaque were cherry red after seeing him exposed.

Now, everyone saw his scars from fights and grew very concerned, but decided not to question it.

Embry also learned a new thing...he can make clones...from his hair.

He made 2 clones in secret, and decided to show everyone when it was time.

"Here you go, peaches." Macaque said, as he placed a cold towel on Embry's forehead.

"Ah..." Embry sighed happily, as his ears twitched.

He heard Sandy asking either Monkey King or Macaque, he wasn't sure.

"Are you sure we're going in the right direction?" Sandy asked, while looking through the front view mirror. 

He re-adjusted the mirror to see how they were doing in the back.

"Not a clue. All Monkey King said to do was head west so..." Tang said, as Mei went up to the front and grabbed the map.

"How did anyone ever get anywhere using these?!" Mei asked.

"Let me see it." Syntax said, as he took out of her hand.

 While Syntax was looking at the map, Monkey King asked Sandy to turn up the AC while he was meditating.

"Sorry, Monkey King, the AC is at its highest set." Sandy said.

"According to the map, we'll be out of this desert in 10 more miles." Syntax said.

"Really/Ah?!" Everyone yelled.

"Yeah. So, we just need to hang on a little longer." Syntax said.

"Oh, thank goodness." Tang said.

"At least someone is being useful unlike a certain monkey that we know." Pigsy said, as they looked at Monkey King who was pretending to be asleep.

"C'mon you guys, Monkey King needs to recharge after his fight with Nezha. He's in no state to waste his time on mere mortals. Especially now that I don't have my powers" Mk said.

"Eh?" Embry asked, looking concerned.

"Don't worry, Embry. We have a very honest relationship. Besides that's of mystic monkey meditation requires complete focus apparently" Mk said, as they saw Monkey King scratching his leg.

"More like dumping his responsibilities on everyone as usual." Macaque mumbled.

"Come on gang! Don't be so glum. Roll down the window, little fresh air never hurt no-" When Sandy rolled down the window, the heat was so hot that the air can catch anything on fire.

Embry yelled and hissed at the harsh air.

 Sadly, Sandy didn't see the fire coming. 

"Oh! That's so much worst!" 

Sandy rolled the window back up. 

Mo tried to take care of the fire on Sandy's hair, finally the fire was gone.

"Ah?" Embry asked, as he handed him a towel to clean his face.

"I'm alright sweetie. I just need to make sure not to roll down the window again until we're out of the desert." Sandy said.

"Kid, you know there is more to you than just your powers, right?" Pigsy asked, hoping MK would understand what he is saying.

Embry just watched as Mk replied with a stupid reply, making everyone fall down.

"Really, kid?" Macaque said, as he pinched between his brows.

"Think the heat got to him?" Syntax asked.

Huntsman nodded.

Embry wondered how they weren't burning up, since they were wearing all black.

He handed Syntax a cold towel, but he pushed it away.

"I'm fine, Embry." Syntax said.

Embry gave him a look and touched his forehead.

It was hot!

Embry raised an eyebrow and placed the towel on his head, anyway.

Syntax was shocked, before looking away.

"T-Thanks." He said, as Embry sat down.

Then, all of the sudden the van stopped moving. 

Sandy looked at the screen of the van to check what's going on, it showed a picture of the engine has overheated meaning the engine is out of commission. 

Everyone groaned, Mei, Pigsy, Tang, Huntsman and Syntax took off their jackets, Macaque removed the top part of his clothes. 

Embry turned red, seeing Macaque's upper torso exposed.

"What's wrong peaches? Are you embarrassed?" Macaque teased.

Embry covered his face, as he groaned, face turned red and tails wagging.

"Then why is your face red?"

Embry gave him a look, before pointing to the sun.

"Will quit teasing him? You can clearly see he doesn't like it" Syntax said, he was wearing a tank top and a pair of shorts.

Then, Embry noticed how quiet everyone is, they're never this quiet unless they're sleeping or eating. 

They looked up ahead and saw a junkyard.

'Why is there a junkyard in a desert?' He thought.

"I have a feeling that the kid and the gang are there somehow and why do I have the urge to beat someone?" Macaque asked.

"We better go check it out" Huntsman said, as Macaque opened his shadow portal to travel instead of walking through the heat.

They arrived to see everyone, but Embry was confused.

"What's going on?" Spider Queen asked, as she placed her hair in a ponytail.

"Why is most of everyone's stuff by a fish monster?" Macaque asked, as he raised his brow.

He noticed Monkey King is part of the stuff.

When Mk explained about happened so far, he started laughing hard. 

"Ahahahahahahahaha!! You made Wukong part of the bet?! Now that's gold!" Macaque laughed, making everyone deadpan.

While Macaque was laughing, the fish eyed Embry.

"Tell me something boy. What's with the butterfly?" The fish asked, as he got too close. 

Embry slapped the fish away from him.

"Don't even think about it." Huntsman said, getting in front of Embry.

Embry watched as everything played out, hoping everything went okay.

But that went out the window.

"If I win, you give me the boy." The fish said.

"WHAT?!" Everyone yelled, Embry looked at him with wide eyes.

"Oh, not happening!" Macaque said, grabbing Embry's wrist.

But Embry winked at Mk, giving him an idea.

"Okay." Mk said.

"HAH?!" Everyone yelled.

"I got a plan, trust me!" Mk said.

"Mk...if anything goes wrong, you're dead." Mei growled.

Embry watched as Mk's eyes turned gold, the fish swapped the bowls.

"So, where is Monty?" The fish asked, after he finished moving around the bowls.

"The one in the middle!" Mk said.

"Oh! Too bad, but you could..." Once the fish removed the bowl, there was Monty 

"Impossible! How did you!?"

"It's simple really. You were fooling us the whole time, but I Monkie Kid, delivery boy, somewhat equal to heaven, saw right through your trick!" Mk pointed under the table, everyone saw his hand under one of the trap doors, making everyone gasp.

"You rigged this table, so no matter what plate Monty was under he would drop out from under it, just as your contestants made their choice! Which makes you a cheater!" 

Pigsy, Tang and Mei stood in front of the fish, he was backing away slowly but was blocked by an angry Macaque, Spider Queen, Huntsman, Syntax, Strong and a very angry Embry who started glaring at him, with a death glare.

His hair turned purple as he cracked his knuckles.

"There are a lot of things that I hate, but what I hate most is cheaters like you!" He yelled in anger, making the fish shrink in fear.

"W-W-We can make deal... Uh... Friends?"

"Ohohoho. We'll make a deal alright." Mei said, with a grin and a dangerous tone.

Once they got everything back, Mk saw Embry whispering something to Macaque.

Once he was done, Macaque looked at the fish with a wicked grin as he cracked his knuckles.

'Better start running.' Everyone thought as they rushed out of the junkyard and heard screams. 

Embry went back to the van and got his phone, until he saw a video of some people he didn't know.

He clicked the video.

Later

Embry kicked the van door down, tears going down his face, growling and phone in hand.

He stormed up to the gang.

"Hey, Embry. What's-"

*SLAP*

Nobody said anything as Embry slapped the life out of Tang, knocking his glasses off.

Tang looked at Embry with wide eyes, his cheek turned red.

"Embry, what the-"

"Why."

A dark voice asked, shocking everyone.

"Why...Why...WHY HIDE THIS?!" Embry screamed, throwing his phone at Pigsy who caught it.

Pigsy's eyes widened when he saw the video.

He knew....

Embry found out everything.

"W-What do you-"

"YOU LIED! WHY NO TELL?! WHY HIDE?!" Embry cried, fists bleeding.

"What do you mean?!" Wukong asked.

"Mom...Dad...Baby Brother...Why?" Embry cried, shaking.

Everyone's eyes widened, as what he meant.

"You found out." Mei said, making Embry look at her.

"You knew...YOU ALL KNEW AND NO TELL!! WHY?! WHY NO TELL?!" Embry screamed.

"Honey, we couldn't. We knew if we told you, you would shut down. Giving someone trauma while having problems with the brain could have physical damage. We couldn't have that. As much as we wanted to tell you, we couldn't. I'm sorry, but we had no-"

Embry slapped Tang's hand away and glared at him.

"I wish you were never my dad." He spat, making Tang's eyes fill with tears.

"Embry, that was too far. Look, I know you're upset but you have to-"

"SHUT UP!!" Embry yelled.

*SLASH*

He heard a scream as he looked.

Mk was holding his eye, blood was running and he was panting.

Embry looked at his hand, blood was on his nails.

Embry looked up with wide, scared eyes.

"I-I-I...I-I...I..." Embry covered his mouth as he panted.

Purple fire began to form around him, as he backed away.

"Embry. Calm down. It was an accident. Calm do-"

Macaque was cut off, when the purple grew bigger.

Embry looked at them with teary eyes and a betrayed look.

"I'm sorry...I can't." Embry said, as he shot up in the sky.

"EMBRY!!" Everyone yelled.

Tang covered his mouth as he fell to his knees, crying.

"It'sallmyfaultit'sallmyfaultit'sallmyfault!" He cried.

"Tang! It's not your fault. What happened that day was an accident." Pigsy said, as he patted Tang's shoulders.

"But did you hear what he said? He said he wished I wasn't his dad...he saw me...I...I can't believe I lost my nephew." Tang cried.

Nobody said anything as they all stood in silence.

They only hoped....that Embry was safe...wherever he was.

"Hey guys...why is their two Embry's?"

With Embry

Embry landed by the DBK residence.

He panted as he cried.

He sobbed loud and covered his face as he leaned against the door.

He sat there for a few minutes, before the door opened.

He fell back in shock.

"L-Lotus?! What're you doing h-"

Redson stopped before seeing Embry's face.

"Lotus...what happened?" Redson asked, before Embry burst into tears again.

"Who was at the door-Embry?" PIF asked, as she and DBK came to the door.

They were shocked to see Embry in tears, they hadn't seen him cry since the first time they met.

"What's wro-" Redson was cut off, when Embry hugged him and cried in his shoulder.

They all looked at each other, before back at Embry.

Later

Embry was sitting down at the table with DBK, PIF and Redson.

He was drinking some milk tea that PIF had made for him.

He was also wearing one of Redson's sweaters.

"Now...what happened?" PIF asked, taking Embry's hand.

Embry sniffled.

"T-They...lie....they hide..." He said, shocking them.

They were so used to hearing some noises from Embry, but never full words...well Redson wasn't very surprised, considering Embry screamed his name some months ago.

DBK recovered from the shock.

"W-What do you mean 'they lie and hide?'" DBK asked.

Embry explained how he found the videos on his phone and learned everything. Even how he hurt his friends, Embry never felt this bad before.

Nobody said anything.

DBK, PIF and Redson knew how Embry's past as well, but they didn't say anything.

"Well...that's a shocker and I know it's hard for you, Lotus. But everything will be okay." Redson said, as he held Embry's hand.

Embry nodded and rubbed his eyes.

"Lotus if you want....you can stay with me." Redson said.

Embry looked at him, unsure.

"You both are getting married anyway, so I don't see a problem with it." PIF said, smirking a bit.

"You're our son in law. You're welcome to stay here as long as you need." DBK said, making Embry smile through his tears.

"T-Thank you." Embry said, rubbing his eyes.

Redson kissed his cheek and hugged him.

'Don't worry, Lotus. You're safe here.'

With the others

They were shocked to see two Embry's, but they looked confused.

Clone #1 Embry waved, awkwardly.

"Could...Fuji clone herself?" Mk asked, as Sandy cleaned his eye.

"No. No she couldn't." Macaque said.

Mei saw the scroll and picked it up.

"Hey, I think it's this scroll he got from Ao Guang." Mei said, as they all looked at it.

They saw many names, Macaque and Wukong knew what this was.

"This was Fuji's power scroll. She would mark down many powers she discovered into a scroll and give it to us to try out." Wukong said.

"Looks like cloning was one of them." Mk said.

"Look at these names: Cloning, Butterfly Dash, Caprice, Wisteria Dance, how'd she come up with these names?" Sandy asked.

Macaque and Wukong shrugged.

"I'm more concerned about the real Embry. He just took off to who-knows-where. I'm glad we have an Embry here...but it's not the same." Mk said, as he petted Clone #2 Embry's head.

"Yeah. But...he has every right to be mad. We all hid it from him, and he was gonna find out eventually." Mei said.

The clones noticed everyone was down and nodded, sharing a look.

They began to glow, as wisteria petals flew around them.

"We may not know what happened...but we will do everything in our power to help you." Clone #1 said, as 2 nodded.

"Thanks...even if you both are not the real Embry, it's great to have help." Mk said, as he looked up.

'Embry...where are you?'
