Nobody pov

The sound of fighting ran throughout a palace, Monkey King crashed through the palace with a spear chasing after him. 

He managed to block the attacks and threw the spear away and saw an opening towards the map.

"Finally! An opening!" He said, as he charged to grab the map, but a barrier stopped him from doing so. 

The strong barrier blew Monkey King away towards the wall "The old magical barrier trick. I should've seen that one coming." He said, wiping the dust off his head.

"That seal is strong enough to protect the map from any who would steal it." A voice said.

"Even you, Sun Wukong! Do have any idea what you're doing?" Nezha asked, as he glared at Monkey King who removed himself from the wall.

"Ah, yeah! I'm the Monkey King, trust me!" Monkey King said.

"Trust you?" Nezha laughed. 

"No, you ruined any chance of that long ago."

"Honestly, Nezha, when did you stop being fun?" Monkey King asked, as he tried to charge pass, but Nezha grabbed Monkey King with his ribbon and threw him far from the map. 

Nezha began to fight Monkey King in order to protect the map.

"I alone should've been the one to be entrusted that map safe!" Nezha said, as Monkey King jumped onto the ceiling.

"Somebody sounding jealous~." Monkey King said, with a teasing tone.

Monkey King tried to land a punch on Nezha, but he missed.

"It was our solemn duty! Our oath was to the world from this from the Samadhi Fire!" Nezha said, as he grabbed Monkey King with his ribbon and threw him again

"Yeah, well... something worse came along." Monkey King said, as he charged towards the map. 

"Why do you think I need to it? Come on!" He said, as Nezha's spear glowed and tried to strike Monkey King down, but Monkey King blocked the attack.

"Out of respect with your past friendship with the great monk and Fuji, I will allow you leave this place safely. But the fire will remain unforged! Hidden! The map stays here!" Nezha said.

"I know you take your security job pretty seriously, but I really do need the map. So, you see the problem, right?" Monkey King asked, as Nezha's eyes widened. 

Golden smoke appeared from above, showing Monkey King blowing some of his hair to create clones of himself, they all jumped on Nezha, making him unable to move.

"You want me to leave it, I want me to take it. Eh, that's toughie." Monkey King said.

"What?! Don't do this!" Nezha pleaded.

"I'm sorry, but it's the only way." Monkey King said, as he went to the map.

"Wukong! That barrier is designed to protect the map at all costs! If you force your way through it, it'll destroy us both!" Nezha said, as he continued to struggle to free himself from the clones.

"Yeah, I know. But you got to creak a few eggs to make an omelet." Monkey King said, as he charged towards the map.

"What? That doesn't mean you should!" Nezha said, but Monkey King used all of his strength to break through the barrier. 

His hands went through the barrier, pushing his way through the barrier, he finally grabbed the map, but the palace exploded. 

Pieces of the palace floated in the air or on the ground, Nezha got up a bit from the ground, injured and looked at the spot where Monkey King was.

"Wukong..." Then he heard laughing.

"Hahaha. Look Nezha, keep up the training. Who knows, maybe one day you'll be tough enough to beat me." Monkey King said, with a grin and holding the map, before a blue light appeared, covering the sky.

Monkey King knew what it was.

"Kid! Embry!" Monkey King was about to leave until Nezha called out to him, making him stop in his tracks.

"Wait! Please, leave the fire be. How would Fuji react if she sees you like this? She used almost all her power in order to keep the fire apart, she'll be disappointed in you Wukong if you do this." Nezha said, clutching the hair pin on his shirt.

Wukong noticed and looked away.

"*Sigh*...I know she would, but it's a risk I'm willing to take. Plus, I promised to make sure I would protect her descendent from anything that would happen to him." Monkey King said, making Nezha flinch. 

"Wait...when did you learn about Fuji's descendent?" He asked.

"Her weapon...it reacted when he was in need of help. I thought another mystic being was using some type of power or magic to take away the only thing I had of her, but then I saw him...her descendent..." Nezha said, looking down. 

"I received permission from the Jade Emperor to watch over him, but I couldn't do anything when I'm guarding the map." He said, clutching the hair pin harder.

"I need to go now. I need to hurry to Mk and Embry." As soon as he said that, Monkey King left.

"Wukong! You'll doom us all!" Nezha yelled, as Monkey King quickly head back to the city.

Nezha groaned in pain as he stood up.

He panted as he looked up, before looking at the hair pin.

He gripped it and sighed.

"I have to go after-"

"YӨЦ ЩIᄂᄂ DӨ ПӨ ƧЦᄃΉ ƬΉIПG, ПΣZΉΛ." A voice rang through the area, as everything turned black.

Nezha knew who it was, but before he could do anything, he was snatched up and held in the air.

"Ume..." He whimpered, eyes wide.

"ΉΣᄂᄂӨ ПΣZZY~." Ume said, smiling.

"IƬ'Ƨ BΣΣП Λ ЩΉIᄂΣ ƧIПᄃΣ ЩΣ ᄂΛƧƬ ƬΛᄂKΣD. ΉΛƧП'Ƭ IƬ~? ЩΉΛƬ DӨ YӨЦ ƬΉIПK YӨЦ'ЯΣ DӨIПG?" Ume asked, gripping Nezha's face.

Nezha couldn't answer.

He was always afraid of Ume, and he had a few good reasons why.

When Fuji first introduced them, Ume gave Nezha a death glare, making him slightly scared.

It wasn't until Fuji announced that she and Nezha were dating, Ume had a smile that sent chills down Nezha's spine.

To Fuji, it was a innocent smile, but to Nezha...it meant death to him.

That night, Ume snuck into Nezha's room and held him up in the air, scaring the life out of him.

He told Nezha to be careful around Fuji, since she was his sister figure.

He said that if he ever hurt or got Fuji in danger, he would kill him where he stood.

Ever since, Nezha was terrified of Ume, now...he was meeting him again.

Ume gripped Nezha's face harder, his nails digging into his face.

"ᄂIƧƬΣП ΉΣЯΣ, ПΣZΉΛ. FЦJI IƧ DӨIПG ΣVΣЯYƬΉIПG IП ΉΣЯ PӨЩΣЯ ƬӨ KΣΣP ΣMBЯY ƧΛFΣ. YӨЦ ЩIᄂᄂ ПӨƬ KΣΣP ΉΣЯ FЯӨM DӨIПG ƧӨ. ᄂBD IƧ BΛᄃK, ЩΣ ПΣΣD ƬΉΣ FIЯΣ ƬӨ GΣƬ ЯID ӨF ΉΣЯ." Ume said, looking into Nezha's soul.

Nezha's eyes widened, as Ume's nails almost broke the skin.

"ΉΣΛЯ MΣ ПΣZΉΛ...DӨП'Ƭ ƧƬӨP ƬΉΣM FЯӨM DӨIПG ƬΉIƧ. IƬ. ПΣΣDƧ. ƬӨ. BΣ. DӨПΣ. YӨЦ DӨП'Ƭ ΉΛVΣ Λ ᄃΉӨIᄃΣ." Ume said, as he let Nezha go and vanished into thin air.

The area turned back to normal as Nezha panted, eyes wide.

He gripped his shirt and looked around.

"I'm sorry, Ume. But I have to do this." He said, as he left.

With the Gang

Embry had changed clothes and headed to the others.

When he got to the ship's deck, he saw Macaque, holding Tang's diary.

"Can you please not re-tell our utter defeat against that lady, that's one story I don't want to remember." Macaque said, as he used his tail to raise Tang's diary higher from his reach.

"Just as long he adds the awesome part about how I got the map." Monkey King said, as Mei was wrapping his head with bandages, but she hit his head.

"Eto..." Embry said, as everyone looked at him.

He saw Mk, Mei, Wukong and Macaque turn red, making him tilt his head.

"Whoa..." Macaque said.

"You look nice, dearie." Spider Queen said, rubbing Embry's head, causing him to purr a bit.

"Y-Yeah! You look nice Embry!" Mk said.

"A-Alright! Gather around everyone! It's Monkey King's story time!" Monkey King said, as everyone formed a circle. 

Embry was about to sit down, when Macaque placed him on his lap and laid his head on Embry's shoulder.

"Macaque...aren't you a bit too close with Embry?" Monkey King said, his eyebrow twitching.

"He doesn't seem to mind. Right peaches?" Macaque asked, as he nuzzled against Embry's cheek.

"So, what kind of story are you gonna tell us?" Syntax asked, hoping to change things around.

It worked because he opened up the scroll to show them a map with 4 marks on them.

"So, I know what happened back there kind of sucked." Monkey King said.

"Mega sucked." Mei said.

"Mega sucked, but the old Great Sage has a trick or two up his sleeve." Pigsy scoffed.

'He's still mad?' Embry thought.

The ship then shook due to the strong wind.

Huntsman held onto Embry's shoulder while Macaque held him tight, making sure he didn't fly off. 

The map would've been blown away if Embry didn't catch it with his tails. 

Mk took it and placed the map back on the floor, Monkey King placed his back scratcher on the map.

"Yeah, so you said you were looking for a weapon?" Mk asked.

"Yep!"

"And did you find it?" Pigsy asked.

"Nope! But this map is going to help us track it down. It's called..." Monkey King was about to say, but was cut off by Tang.

"The Samadhi Fire!" Tang said, eyes sparkling.

"Uh... Yeah that. The most powerful force I've ever seen." Monkey King said, making Embry shiver slightly, but he didn't know why.

"Powerful enough to destroy LBD?" Mk asked. 

Monkey King nodded.

"You got it, bud!" 

"But what is it?" Mk asked. 

Monkey King was going to explain it, but Tang looked like he really wanted to explain it, so Monkey King decided to let Tang explain it instead.

"Okay! Legend speaks of a flame, so powerful that nothing could put it out. Not even the Great Sage himself." Tang said.

"So, there is something that even Wukong couldn't do." Macaque said, as he laughed. 

Monkey King had a tick mark on his head, but calmed down, trying to not let his brother get to him.

"The Samadhi Fire burned out of control. The only way to contain it was by splitting it into pieces, scattering them so their flames could never be re-forged." Monkey King said.

"So, you just tossed around a bunch of fires instead of one?" Mk asked.

Ugh... And we put the pieces into four rings, so they cause no further harm. Come on, do I gotta spell everything out?" Monkey King asked, as they all looked at Mk.

Embry rolled his eyes, playfully.

"Now that LBD has the staff and your powers, she's too much for us to handle. If we can't stop her, she's going to destroy... well everything." Monkey King said. 

Sandy appeared out of nowhere making everyone literally jump from fright.

Embry's tails and ears spiked up in alarm, Macaque gripped him tightly, Huntsman had a death grip on his shoulder.

Embry was sure it was popped out of place.

"So, find the rings, combine them, and then what? You said the fire of somewhat sea couldn't be controlled." Sandy said.

"When did he appear?" Macaque asked, in a whisper tone.

Embry shrugged, since he had no idea how long or when he got there.

Embry moved Huntsman off him and popped his shoulder back into place, no reaction, hearing a 'pop!'

"Sorry." Huntsman said, as Embry just nodded at him.

"Samadhi" Monkey King corrected Sandy, while Pigsy and Tang were agreeing about the fire being hard to control.

"Hey! If Monkey King thinks this can work, then it'll work. We can do this" Mk said, trying to encourage everyone.

"Yes! That's more like it!" Monkey King said, and gave Mk a noogie on his head.

Embry heard Macaque chuckle.

"That kid sure knows how to encourage others." Macaque said.

Then, they heard clapping. They looked at the rail and saw the fake mayor.

Embry growled and hissed at him, ears pinning down to his head.

"Bravo! Bravo! My dear boy, you certainly know on how not to give up! But sadly, your journey has come to an end." The fake mayor said.

"I'm gonna make you regret, trying to hurt my son!" Spider Queen said, as she stood in front of Embry, so did the rest of the spiders.

"Pigsy! Tang! Mei! Sandy and get us out of here! We'll handle these guys!" Mk yelled, as Embry summoned a weapon. 

Mk was about to summon his staff but remembered he lost the staff to LBD.

"Here kid." Macaque said, as he summoned his shadow staff and handed it to Mk.

"Thanks." Mk said, as they got into battle stance.

Ume came out of Embry's body, ready to fight.

"MIПD IF I JӨIП? MӨПKΣY KIПG, ЩIᄂᄂ YӨЦ BΣ ӨKΛY ƬӨ FIGΉƬ?" Ume asked, Mokey King nodded. 

They split into 3 groups, Macaque was with Embry.

The spiders were just with each other.

Monkey King and Ume were with Mk.

Embry and Macaque dashed to the fake mayor and fought.

The spiders joined in, so did Monkey King, Ume and Mk.

They fought for quite a while. 

Embry was thinking of kicking the fake mayor away, but he would most likely be ready for his kick, so he decided to fight with the sword for now.

"Why don't you come back with me? I'm sure my lady is willing to give you a second chance." The fake mayor said to Macaque.

"As if! There's no way I'm going back to that witch!" Macaque yelled. 

"That's my boy!" Fuji yelled, making Embry smile

Macaque tried to land a hit on him, but he kept dodging.

The fake mayor managed to pin Macaque to the ground.

"Get o-!" Syntax was pinned down by a misty version of a person.

Embry looked around and noticed, almost everyone was pinned down.

'I need a good opening to land either a punch, a kick or a shot, but I don't want to hurt Macaque. I need something to get them away from each other. What can I do?' Embry thought, before a green blast appeared that separated both Macaque and the fake mayor.

It freed everyone as well.

"Hey, if you want to get to my monkeys, best friends and spiders, you'll have to get through me." Mei said, as she readied her sword.

Embry hugged Mei, causing her to blush.

"Oh my, you have quite the powerful knife you got there, but you have to do better than that if you plan to land a hit on me." The fake mayor said. 

Mei smirked which made him confused.

Embry's sword turned into a gun, making everyone shocked.

His lilac eyes turned dark purple as he smirked, everyone heard him say:

"...Sayōnara, shichō."

He shot the gun, making everyone's eyes widen at the blast.

 The fake mayor fell off the ship, horribly injured. 

They thought it was over, before they heard an explosion from one of the engines and saw that a person destroyed one of the engines and disappeared. 

The ship started tipping over to the side, everyone screamed and grabbed hold of the rail as the ship was heading towards the sea. 

Before they hit the waves, Embry's eyes glowed as a huge bubble, covering everyone as they started to sink into the sea.

Everyone watched in awe as his hair turned purple, he had no reaction as he held the barrier steady.

Macaque and Wukong's vision changed, as they saw Fuji in Embry's place.

She turned to them and smiled at them, making their eyes widen.

Embry exhaled as he felt something enter him.

"Thank you, Embry. I will never forget this."
