Nobody pov

After a bit of driving, the gang decided to camp out on the mountain top, Sandy was sleeping, Tang is still studying the rings, Pigsy was watching tv and Monkey King was roasting marshmallows by the fire. 

When Monkey King finished eating his roasted marshmallow, he was about to grab another one, but Syntax took the bag away from him.

"Hey!" Monkey King shouted and tried to get the bag back.

"You already finished 2 bags! I think it's time to stop eating them, plus we know you have more hidden, so stop complaining already" Macaque said, eating some chips.

"Would y'all knock it off?!" Embry snapped, silencing them.

"Agh! This map doesn't make any sense!" Mk shouted.

"What's up, kid?" Macaque asked.

"This map doesn't make any sense at all! These landmarks don't look like anything! Debatably, this one where we got the first ring looks like DBK's fortress, the second ring was obviously in the Celestial Realm, and this beautifully rendered mountain range looks like some sort of Lantern city...But tell me...What the brick is this?!" Mk yelled, pointing all over the map.

"That's the moon, idiot." Embry said.

"Huh?" Mk asked, with a dumbfounded look.

"Would you guys shush!" Pigsy shouted, and they heard a jingle from the TV.

"Cooking...with...Chang'e?" Spider Queen asked.

"Hello everyone! It's wonderful to see you down there. I've missed you all so much! Welcome to my home for another night of Cooking with Chang'e! Where I always say Cooking is life and life is cooking" Chang'e said on tv, Pigsy repeating her words even wearing her merchandise, making everyone sweat-drop.

Embry rolled his eyes and shook his head.

"Tonight, I'll be revealing the secrets to baking the perfect moon cake." Chang'e said.

"Huh. Not gonna lie, she's younger than I thought she'd be." Mei said, Mk squinted his eyes.

"You do know Chang'e is a deity like Nezha right? She's a moon deity. She stole the elixir of immortality, as a result, she was closely associated with longevity and immortality." Embry said, shocking them.

"How the-"

"Blame Tang. He used to read those stories to me as a kid." Embry said, pointing at Tang who blushed in embarrassment.

"Does that thing in the background look kind of familiar?" Mk asked.

"Huh, your right." Huntsman said, but Pigsy shushed them, when Mk gasped. 

He grabbed both the map and a ring from Tang's hand, and looked at the object on the TV.

"Guys! Look! There! It's one of the rings!" Mk said, making everyone look at the TV.

"The second ring of Samadhi is in Chang'e's kitchen?" Pigsy asked, making Tang very excited.

"You know what this mean?! We are going to..."

"The Celestial Realm!" Mk said, everyone fall to the ground.

Embry smacked him upside the head.

"The moon, dumbass!" He said, making Mk shrink.

"I don't like this new Embry." Strong said, making the spiders and Taiyo nod.

"We're really going to space!" Mk asked excitedly, while Pigsy was packing all of his stuff.

"But how are we gonna go to the moon?" Taiyo asked, making Pigsy stop packing.

"In a rocket." Monkey King said, while eating his peach chips.

"What?" Mk and Mei asked.

"Yeah. Just use your powers, build a rocket out of the van, and we'll just fly up there." Monkey King said, as he was making rocket noises.

"Wukong, you do know the kid is still learning on getting his powers back bit by bit. So, how about you and I make the rocket?" Macaque said, Monkey King groaned but agreed.

Monkey King and Macaque turned the truck into a rocket.

"Okay, the rocket is done, the rocket can hold a certain amount of people." Macaque said.

After debating who's going to the moon, it was decided that Mk, Pigsy, Monkey King, Taiyo Embry, Syntax, Spider Queen and Macaque are going. 

There was some objection for Embry going to the moon, Sandy was holding onto him very tightly, much to his annoyance. 

Embry noticed Pigsy stuff something in his pocket, but cared less.

Since they didn't have time, Monkey King whispered into Mk's ear, Mk used his powers on Sandy to move him away from Embry, but it made him small.

"You shrunk him?" Embry asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I-I didn't mean to! I thought the power Monkey King told me to do was to move Sandy away from you, not shrink him!" Mk said, everyone looked at Monkey King.

"*Sigh* Look, I don't always need protection. I can be fine on my own. Now, can we just go? The more we wait, the more LBD get's more powerful." Embry said, getting in the rocket.

"He's never gonna forgive or trust us again, is he?" Mk asked, sadly.

"Honestly...I don't know. He'll come around eventually." Sandy said.

When they got inside the rocket, they took their seats, Monkey King was pressing buttons.

"You have done this before, right?" Syntax asked.

"Nope! I've never even made a rocket ship before. Can you believe that?" Monkey King said, making Pigsy, Spider Queen, Syntax and Macaque tighten their seatbelts, Macaque even tighten Embry's seatbelt, much to his annoyance.

"Hey, what's this button do?" Monkey King pressed the big red button and the rocket ship blasted off into space.

Everyone (except Embry) yelled, as the ship blasted off.

'I knew I should've stayed on Earth.' He thought.

In Space

Embry had his eyes close for a moment, and after a minute he opened his eyes, and was met with countless stars.

"Huh. Not bad." He said, before looking back and seeing LBD's power.

'That son of a harlot. I know that's not her true form...I sensed a smaller soul in her...she's using a child body as a host...' He thought, before the ship started to shake.

"We better hold on tight!" Pigsy said, as the ship drew closer to the moon, they crashed landed, resulting both Mk and Pigsy landing on their faces, Spider Queen, Taiyo and Syntax to land on their backsides while Macaque landed with Embry in his arms

"Sorry, guys. Like I said I do not know how to fly a rocket" Monkey King said, as he landed near the group.

Syntax and Spider Queen gave him a look.

Pigsy was looking around their surroundings with stars in his eyes.

"I can't believe we're here! Wow! Chang'e has amazing vegetations and beautiful plants too!" He said, Mk spoke to snap out of his trance of the garden.

"Remember guys, in and out. No distractions. Right Pigsy?" Mk asked.

"I know." Pigsy said.

Mk, Pigsy, Taiyo, Syntax, Spider Queen and Embry were the only ones wearing space suits, while Monkey King and Macaque weren't.

"No. Suits are for dorky mortals." Monkey King said, Macaque smacked him in the back of his head.

"You do know peaches is wearing that dorky suit, right?" Macaque said, he turned to look at Embry who had an eyebrow raised, making Monkey King realize his mistake.

"Uh, except you Embry." Monkey King said, as Embry rolled his eyes.

Then, Embry took off his suit.

"Embry! What-"

"There's air here. I can breathe fine. The vegetables prove that as well." He said, blankly.

"Really?" Syntax said, as he deactivated his suit and breathed.

"Yeah, it's fine." He said, as everyone took off their suits.

Embry and Macaque's ears twitched.

"Get down!" Macaque said, they all hid behind the plants, and felt a huge step. 

They took a peek and saw a huge bunny mech.

"Scanning perimeter..." The bunny mech was scanning the area.
"Perimeter secured." The mech started to walk away.

"Omg! That is the second cutest thing I ever saw!" Monkey King said.

"Second? What's the first cutest thing?" Mk asked, and saw Monkey King's tail pointing at Embry, who was in awe at how cute the bunny mech was.

'Yeah, Embry/peaches is the cutest.' Mk and Macaque thought and blushed.

"Guys, look!" Pigsy whispered shouted and they found Chang'e's kitchen, which made him even more excited.

When they entered the kitchen, Mk, Macaque, Embry, Syntax, Taiyo and Spider Queen started to look for the second ring, while Pigsy was busy being in awe.

Embry facepalmed annoyed.

'How is this my 'dad'?' He thought, as he continued looking.

"Gasp! It's Chang'e's recipe book!" Pigsy said, making Embry look his way.

"Pigsy! Put the book down and look over there!" Mk pointed at the wall behind them.

"I found the ring!" He said.

"Well, get it so we can get out of here." Syntax said.

Mk jumped on the wall and took the ring, but that set off an alarm.

"Great." Embry said.

"The old ring triggers the alarm system trick." Monkey King said, as he sat on a chair. 

"Alright guys and gals, let's get out of here." When they were about to leave, but the wall broke to reveal the bunny mech from earlier.

"Oh sh!t." Embry said, making everyone look at him in shock.

"AAAH! What are we gonna do!?" Mk asked, as the bunny mech readied its blasters.

"Mk, gold vision, idiot!!" Embry said.

"Oh yeah! I keep forgetting I have that." Mk used his gold vision to find a way out.

"Well stop forgetting!" Syntax and Spider Queen yelled.

 "Oh! That way!" Mk grabbed everyone and took them to a medium sized drainage; he pushed them through, and it led them to factory.

"Woah! Is this a factory inside the moon!?" Mk looked amazement until they were surrounded by more bunny mechs.

"You just HAD to open your f*cking mouth!" Embry yelled.

The bunny mechs fired their blasters, luckily the group managed to dodge the blast and were outside.

"We need to go, now!" Syntax said, as the bunny mech from earlier appeared.

"Monkey King, do something!" Pigsy said, but Monkey King is still gushing over how adorable the mech was.

Embry growled and smacked the life out of him, scaring everyone.

"MK? What are you...?" Before Taiyo could ask more, Mk used one of his powers.

"Here...comes...Monkie Kid!" Mk made the bunny mech's blast shrink including the bunny mech.

Everyone gathered around to look at the tiny bunny mech and blushed how small and adorable it looked.

When Embry saw the bunny mech, he couldn't hold himself back anymore.

"Aw! It's so adorable!" Embry scooped up the little bunny mech into his hands and nuzzled it, making the 3 certain guys and a girl blush even more.

'So cute!' They thought, before someone cleared their throat.

"Hey so... What do you think you're doing?" 

In front of them was Chang'e herself.

"Chang'e!?" Everyone shouted while Pigsy was very excited to his favorite tv star in person.

"Sun Wukong and Mk the Monkie Kid...Not to be that gal, but I'm a huge fan! Do you have a moment?" Chang'e took out her phone and started to take pictures of both Mk and Monkey King, and Monkey King decided to do some funny poses. 

When Chang'e was about to put away her phone, she saw Embry and blushed. 

"OH. MY. GOSH!! IT'S SO NICE TO SEE YOU, EMBRY!! I'M A HUGE FAN AND I ALWAYS WANTED TO MEET YOU!!" Then Chang'e started to take some selfies of her and Embry while holding the little bunny mech.

"Wait, how'd you know?" He asked, getting a bit freaked out.

"I knew Fuji like the back of my hand. We always made mochi and cakes together! Now then, I believe you have something of mine." Chang'e held out her hand.

"I'm sorry Chang'e, we needed to find this ring in order to save the world! After we were done, we were gonna return it, honest." Mk took out the ring and he was about to hand it back to her, until she looked confused.

"Oh. That old thing. You can keep it." Chang'e said, making everyone look surprised.

"What?" Embry asked.

"I've been up here a long time. All sorts of things make their way to my garden, however the day that arrived, I knew it was something special about it, that it didn't belong. So, I gave it a home until it's time for it to leave this place. So yes, you may have the ring, in return for my book." Chang'e said.

"Book? Did we take her book, guys?" Taiyo asked,  Pigsy being surprisingly quiet. 

"Pigsy..." Embry looked at his 'father' with intimidating aura surrounding him, making Mk, Taiyo, Syntax, Spider Queen, Chang'e and Monkey King feeling scared, but Macaque was looking at him with hearts in his eyes and his tail shaping into a heart as well.

"He looks hot while being intimidating." Macaque said, making Mk, Taiyo, Chang'e and Monkey King glare at him.

After some time, Pigsy pulled out Chang'e's recipe book, making Mk gasp.

"Why, I never! Oh, you better believe we'll be having words when we get home, young man!" Mk said, as Embry rolled his eyes.

'No surprise there.' He thought, letting the bunny mech go.

"I was gonna put it back. I just...You know...You're such an inspiration and when I saw your book, I guess...Well, you know I just...I wanted to leave you with a parting gift, in exchange for the ring." 

When Chang'e received her book back, she opened to the page, her eyes widen and saw Pigsy's recipe to his noodles and Embry's famous desert which is wisteria cakes. 

"I'm truly sorry." Pigsy apologized, as he continued to cry.

Embry felt something in his chest, that made him feel weird.

"Pigsy..." He muttered, turning away from the group.

"Don't cry Mr. Pig." 

Chang'e wiped away tear from his face and gently lifted up his chin.

"I understand. When cooking is life..."

"Life is cooking" Pigsy finished.

"It's just cooking guys." Monkey King said, making Chang'e and Pigsy glare at him with fire in their eyes.

"Life is cooking!" They yelled, making Monkey King zip his mouth shut.

Embry stayed silent, wondering how he acted towards them and felt guilty.

He felt tears in his eyes, as he wiped them away, furiously.

'I was such a damn brat. But...I don't know how to feel anymore.' He thought.

He looked at everyone, before looking away, silently crying.

Back on Earth

Embry was sleeping...or trying to sleep.

He felt very guilty for how he was acting towards them

He saw Sandy, Mk, Mei, Tang and Pigsy hugging each other.

Embry sighed and let Ume's belts out his body and slowly snake around them.

The belts went around, Spider Queen, Macaque, Taiyo, Huntsman, Strong, Syntax, Sandy, Mo, Mei, Mk, Tang, Monkey King and Pigsy.

They looked at Embry, who looked at them with teary eyes and went to sleep.

They smiled sadly.

"He's getting there. It just takes time." Sandy said, as the belt tightened around them.

'Why...Why am I getting a bad feeling in my chest? Like...something bad will happen.' Embry thought.

Fuji was silent, as she felt the fire grow.

Ao Lie noticed her and patted her shoulder, making her smile

"He's gonna find out...they all are. I know...it won't be good. For Macaque...he'll be devastated and heartbroken...I can't bear to see him break down again." Fuji said, as Ao Lie hugged her tight.

"It'll be okay, Fuji. I know it will." He said, smiling at her.

"....I hope so."
