Embry pov

We were heading to the last location of the rings, and it looked like it was in a snowy area.

'Maybe there's a store nearby for warm clothes....or Sandy has some.' I thought, as I looked around.

Mk was drawing as usual, Mei walked over towards him and look at his drawings.

"Whatcha doing Mk?" Mei asked, as she picked up some of his drawings.

"Just doodling." Mk said, Monkey King, who was on his cloud, took the drawings out of Mei's hand.

"Looking good, bud" Monkey King said, as Mei tried to take the drawings back.

I sighed and looked away, hearing Tang whine about how his drawings were in the trash.

"Embry....you okay?" Syntax asked.

I looked at him and nodded, before he rubbed my head, making me purr a bit.

"Hey, guys! Land ho!" Sandy announced, we looked through the front window, and saw the city where the fourth ring was, Lantern City.

"Wow, nice." I said, as Monkey King chuckled.

"Heh. Hasn't changed a bit." Monkey King said.

When we reached the city, Sandy handed us each a box. 

When we opened them, their were warm clothes.

'Knew it.' I thought.

"I packed warm clothing just in case we ended up somewhere cold. Good thing I had them!" Sandy said, as he put on his jacket, gloves, and a scarf.

I went behind a curtain and started to change into the warm clothes that Sandy gave me. 

After I finished changing, I opened the curtain and looked in the mirror.

"Not bad." I said.

"Nice, Embry!" Ao Lie said, scaring the life out of me.

'Boy, why? Why do I keep forgetting you're here?' I groaned.

He just giggled, as I opened the curtain and stepped out.

"So, we ready or what?" I asked.

Everyone turned and froze.

Spider Queen squealed, like a proud mom.

"You look amazing, darling!" She said, hugging me.

The others agreed, Mei, Mk, Macaque and Wukong were red in the face.

I just rolled my eyes as Spider Queen let me go.

"W-Well, let's start heading to the city and look for the ring!" Mei said.

In the train

In the bullet train, we were squished. 

I heard Monkey King, who was wearing jacket and a pair of sunglasses, saying something, but I couldn't hear what.

"I hate being up close on people." I said, as I tried to get close to Huntsman, who just nodded along with me.

Finally, we reached the station. 

We were about to leave, when I noticed Tang wasn't paying attention.

I groaned and facepalmed.

"Tang! Come on or you're gonna be left behind!" I yelled, Tang rushed outside before the doors closed. 

We left the station, and saw so many buildings with nice decorations. 

While looking around, Monkey King started going through everything.

"Alright. I remember throwing the ring around here somewhere." Monkey King said, as he lifted up a basket lid.

"I thought you said you hid the ring." Mei said.

"Yeah. By throwing it into the crust of the Earth, where no one could find it. Keep up dragon pony girl." Monkey King said, I glared at him.

"*Sigh*...I swear Wukong is an absolute idiot." Macaque said.

"I agree. I'm still shocked that the Great Monk entrusted him with hiding the ring." Syntax said.

"Is there some type of festival going on?" Spider Queen asked.

"I was wondering the same thing. It looks like it." Mk said, I went to a vendor.

"Excuse me, is there a festival going on?" I asked.

"Of course! It's the Ring of Light Festival!" The vendor said.

"Can you tell us more about it?" Mei asked, the vendor started to explain.

"Legends say that Lantern City was once a desolate village until Monkey King thrust the Ring of Light into the Earth! Transforming the city into the prosperous metropolis it is today! Every year we hold a festival celebrating Monkey King's gift of the great Ring of Light." The vendor finished and we looked at Monkey King.

"So much for the rings being a secret." I said, making Monkey King back away while laughing nervously.

"So...You gonna buy something?" The vendor asked, we bought souvenirs for the festival.

"So, what we're just gonna wander around 'til we stumble upon the ring?" Pigsy asked.

"Of course not, Pigsy. I think I know exactly where the ring is." Tang said and was about to say, but Monkey King ended up saying it.

"It's in the giant lantern in the middle of the city." Monkey King said.

"Hey! That's what I was going to say!" Tang shouted.

"How're you figure?" Mk asked.

"Somehow, the villagers, found my super well-hidden magic ring, and there's a giant magic lantern in the middle of the city. I'm gonna say they put it in that. It's 3+3, bud." Monkey King said.

"And 3+3 is four! The fourth ring!" Mk said, as he jumped on Monkey King's shoulders.

I noticed a flyer on the bulletin board, I grabbed it and read it.

"Hey, guys. Look at this flyer." Monkey King grabbed from my hand and handed it to Sandy.

"There you go, big blue guy. You haven't said anything in a while. Read this." Monkey King said.

'I could've read that you know.' I thought.

Sandy cleared his throat and wore a pair of reading glasses.

"Ahem. Join the talented citizens of Lantern City as they try to win the coveted Ring of Light and bring the city to life" Sandy finished reading the flyer, we were already in backstage.

"A talent show?" Mei asked, sounding excited.

"So, if we win, we get the ring." Pigsy said.

"But none of us have any talents! There's no way we can win." Mk said, sounding defeated.

"I got an idea." Fuji said, as I sighed.

"I'll do it. I'll sing." I said.

"Huh?!" Everyone asked.

"Uh, no offense honey, but...we never heard you sing before." Tang said.

"Are you saying I can't?" I asked, eyebrow raised, making him back up.

"N-No, no, no! I'm not saying that-!" 

"Doesn't matter. I'm doing it." I said.

"Okay, great! Now we just need-!"

"No! I can do this on my own...just trust me. While I'm singing, someone needs to get the ring. Now...I'm gonna get ready." I said, walking off.

Nobody pov

"Should we stop him?" Strong asked.

"No. There's no stopping Embry. When he's set on something, he's determined to get it done. One way, or another." Pigsy said, as he watched his 'son' walk away.

It was decided that Tang would get the ring, while everyone would stay back.

Embry came back.

"So...how is it?" He asked.

"You look...amazing." Macaque said.

"Oh my gosh! I gotta take a pic!" Mei cheered, as she took multiple pictures of Embry.

"Okay okay, stop. Who's getting the ring?" He asked, as Tang raised his hand.

Everyone saw Embry look worried for a second, before he was called to the stage.

He went out, before stopping.

"Be careful.............Dad." He said, making everyone's eyes widen.

He went out, hearing everyone cheer for him.

Embry pov

I felt Fuji take control of my body, as the music began.

Macaque and Wukong's eyes widened as they covered their mouths.

'Mom...' They thought, as everyone was in shock of how his voice sounded.

All around is stone

Butterflies began to form and fly around Embry, making everyone cheer.

All that I know

Embry began to float a few feet in the air, the butterflies flying around the area, landing on people.

I need it all

Birds began to come and fly around Embry, as his hair began to rise in the air.

"Can he even do that?" Syntax asked.

Everyone shrugged.

All is stone

The butterflies and birds began to swarm him, as they lifted him up.

All that I know

The butterlies and birds let him back down, as he looked around seeing the creatures. A butterfly landed on his finger and turned purple, the others followed suite. His hands began to glow, as he closed and opened them, forming a small light. The creatures flew to it, making the light bigger. The light went to Embry and lifted him up, taking him in the air. His eyes began to glow, and o did his body as the light flew around him.

Ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah

The light went inside Embry, as he curled up in a ball and broke free, letting out a high note, shocking everyone.

"THAT'S MY EMBRY!!!" Sandy cried.

"That's our Mom!" Macaque and Wukong cheered.

His outfit changed, as he flew around the audience, touching people hands. Then, he transformed into Fuji, making everyone cheer and call out.

Wukong and Macaque had tears going down their faces, as they saw their mother again.

She landed back on the stage and bowed, wisteria petals falling around her.

Everyone cheered and yelled out her name.

She turned and saw the others, who had shocked looks.

She smiled, as Embry got back in control, his clothes turning back to normal.

Everyone went on stage and congratulated Embry for his singing and powers....but Embry had no memory of the powers.

"Okay. So, there is no way we didn't just win this thing!" Mk said, before they heard screaming from above. 

The person landed in Pigsy's arms, the screaming person was none other than Tang, who was holding the last ring.

"The ring!" Mk yelled.

"Way to go bench warmer." Pigsy said.

"Glad to see you're okay." Embry said, Tang started to laugh nervously.

"Guys! The mayor is here! He's after the rings!" Tang said, making everyone literally dash towards the bullet train.

"If that creep knows about the rings..."

"He'll stop at nothing to get his hands on them and deliver them to that witch." Monkey King said.

Embry felt his chest grow hot, making him cough a bit.

"Embry, you okay?" Macaque asked.

Embry nodded and smiled at him.
