No one pov

"The thing is you need to understand about the old legends, is that the story is never finished. There may be no pages left to turn, but there is always more to The Journey. Rising from the underworld, the Bull King attacked. No one could stop him. No one could resist. No one, except...the legendary Monkey King. The Monkey King used his magical staff to pick up a nearby mountain. He trapped the Bull King underneath, then sealed the mountain with The Staff so that no other being could wield it, trapping the Bull King forever. With the battle won, the Monkey King vanished, never to be seen again. Legend says that the staff still lies on top of that mountain. The one thing keeping our world from certain destruction, and with the Bull King gone, civilization was able to advance into an amazing city we live in now. A world of elegant cultures. Gentle, loving people. A city brimming with five-star cuisine. All because of Monkey King!" Tang said, finishing the story. MK and Embry were excited with stars in their eyes. 

"Oh, Monkey King is so cool! He's so strong and handsome!" Mk said, doing some poses. Embry nodded and smiled widely. 

Embry couldn't really talk, even though he was 17. He suffered brain damage as a kid, so he's mentally a 4/5 yr old, but physically a 17 yr old. 

Embry's tails wagged as he clapped and laughed. 

"Oh, Mk. I thought you knew all the Monkey King stories." Tang said with a smile. 

Embry tugged on his sleeve and hugged him. Tang smiled and rubbed his head, causing him to purr.  

Mk grabbed his book about Monkey King that was created and illustrated by him. He explained everything he knew about Monkey King, like how he was born from a stone, and lives behind a waterfall with his sweet little monkey friends.

"It's nice to know that someone is taking in all these stories. Pearls of wisdom dripping from my lips." Tang said.

Embry then, pulled out a drawing he made and showed it to them. "Who's that?" Mk asked. 

"Ah, the goddess of Wisteria. That's a good one." Tang said, rubbing Embry's head. "The who now?" Mk asked. "The goddess of Wisteria as known as 'Fuji' was a Japanese mythology. Embry found a book of Japanese mythics and asked me to read about her. Did you know the goddess knew Monkey King and many others?" Tang asked, which caught Mk's attention.

"What?! For reals?!" Mk asked.

"Well, you know the deal, one story, one free bowl of Zha Jiang mian along with Embry's famous mochi's." Tang said. Embry's ear folded down to his head, knowing what was coming.

"Huh? Oh, right! Free noodles and free sweets! On it! So how did-" Mk was cut off when a wooden spoon came flying. Embry caught it, before it could hit the floor, out came a very angry Pigsy.

Embry just put the spoon down and watched the drama unfold. He laid down, swinging his legs.

"Hey, Embry?" Pigsy asked. "Hm?" Embry asked. "Do you think you can go with Mk? Just to make sure he's not slacking." Pigsy asked. Embry shot up, smiled and nodded. Pigsy rubbed his head. "Glad to have someone who never slacks." He said. Embry went outside and saw Mk, getting ready. "Oh, Embry? You're coming to?" He asked. Embry nodded and got in Mk's cart. Mk smiled and started the cart. He put his headphones in, along with Embry's, entered the address for the delivery and drove off. 

They drove around, giving people there orders, along with hugs from Embry. The next order was at a construction site, but nobody was there. Embry looked worried and whimpered a bit. Mk held his hand as they walked to the elevator. Once they reached the bottom, Mk placed their headphones back on and started walking. Embry looked around, but couldn't see anyone. He saw a bird and smiled. He waved at the bird, causing it to chirp at him. Then Embry heard voices, he froze and growled slightly. "What's wrong, Em?" Mk asked, taking off his headphones. Then he heard voices. "Let's check it out." Mk said. Embry shook his head and pulled Mk back. "Em, I know you're scared, but it could just be the workers. Hold my hand, I promise I got you." Mk said, smiling warmly. Embry stared at his hand, before taking it.

They both walked to where the voices were. The voices got louder as they hid behind a giant boulder.

"It feels like I waited an eternity for this moment. Is everything in order?" A women asked a boy with fire like hair.

"Just making some final adjustments mother" The boy responded.

Mk and Embry saw a hill with a staff in it. 

"Finally, after all this time, we have the means to lift the Monkey King's legendary staff!" The women said.

"Whoa, the Monkey King's Staff." Mk said, with an awe look. He decided to get a closer look, so he climbed on the pipes, followed by Embry. They both watched as the two and some robots tried to move the staff. Embry even saw the boy's hair go on fire, which scared the life out of him, causing him to lose some of his grip. Then creaks and cracks were heard as the mountain let out a burst of energy. Embry began to panic, he wanted to go home, but he couldn't leave Mk by himself. 

They watched as a huge Bull rose from the mountain. Embry felt his blood run cold. It couldn't be the same Bull King from Tang's stories...right?

Then Embry lost his grip, causing him to fall and scream. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" He screamed as he landed on Redson. He sat up and moved away whimpering, ears pinned to his head as he shook in fear.

Redson pov

After my speech of world domination, I heard screaming and felt weight crash on me. I felt the weight was gone and heard something. I got up and about to give this peasant a piece of my mind, but I didn't. I saw a beautiful boy, with two tails and ears, beautiful lilac eyes and long black and orange hair. He looked scared and was about to cry. He looked....so cute. I...

Am...I...gay?

"A-Are you okay?" I asked, shocking my parents and bull bots. He looked at me, sniffled and nodded. I lended my hand to him and he took it, standing up. He began to wipe his eyes. "Can I...know your name?" I asked. He looked at me, then reached in his pocket and pulled out a piece of paper and handed it to me. I opened it, he had nice handwriting. It said: '𝐸𝓂𝒷𝓇𝓎'. "That's your name, Embry?" I asked. He smiled widely and nodded. I handed him back the paper. 

'Embry...a nice name....for a cute boy.' I thought.

"Ahem, Embry, may I ask for your hand in marriage?" I asked. 

"WHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTT?!?!?!" Everyone yelled, except him. He only tilted his head at me. "Aaah..mm." He said? I couldn't tell if what he was saying, because someone else fell on me.

First pov

Mk landed on Redson, causing Embry to laugh. Mk looked and saw the DBK family and sweated nervously. "Uh, anyone order noodles?" He asked. Embry watched as Redson and Mk argued. 'Marriage? What does that mean?' He thought. 

"Little lotus? will you please go stand by my mother? It'll be quick once I finished this peasant." Redson said. "Eh?" He chirped, when Mk was slowly dragging him away. "How DARE you touch my love?! I, Redson, will not be disrespected!! You're history!" Redson was about to attack Mk, but Embry stood in front of him, taking the hit. "EMBRY!!" Mk yelled. Embry landed on his side, crying. He held his stomach in pain. He turned, everyone saw a red mark on his stomach that was bleeding slightly. Redson felt his whole world shatter. 

'What did...I didn't...I just hurt him...what have....No. It's HIS FAULT! That peasant!' He thought angrily. "You...YOU'RE DEAD!!" Redson yelled, as he attacked, but Mk blocked with Monkey King's staff. Embry just watched with teary eyes, then he felt the pain vanish. He moved his hand....the wound was gone! 

Embry checked himself, the wound was nowhere to be found! "Hand over the staff and the boy." PIF said, before looking at Embry. 'Wait, wasn't there a wound on him? How's it vanish that...no way...it can't be.' She thought. 

Mk grabbed Embry as the staff shot them both out the cave.

After Mk and Embry were launched, PIF looked furious. "He can't escape that staff! Even the boy was launched with him!" She yelled. 

"Centuries trapped in oblivion, plotting my revenge and all of it thwarted by a little thief?! I will tear the flesh from his bones!" DBK yelled, as he was surrounded by a dark aura.

"Father, allow me! I won't fail you a second time!" Redson declared. 

"Very well then." DBK growled.

"Of course father." Redson said. He was about to go after them, when his mother stopped him. 

"Redson, I have to ask, why did you ask that boy his hand in marriage?" She asked.

"Well, he looked like beautiful goddess from above, I fell in love at first sight. I have no doubt, he'll make a great wife...or husband." Redson said, his cheeks lightly pink.

"I see. Then, I look forward to the marriage between you both." PIF said, as Redson teleported through his flames
