You stood will Dally by a pole, he was lighting a cigarette and you had your hands shoved in your pockets cause a cold breeze hit you, 

"Jesus Y/n, you really got to get a bigger coat" He mumbles the cigarette in-between his lips 

"Shut it Dal, you know if i could get one i'd have one, i'm fucking freezing" You grumble and he chuckles 

"Let me just give you mine doll" He says and gets real close to you, 

You shove his shoulder and huff, 

"Quit it Dally, you dumb flirt" You scoff and he smirks 

"Only for you" He coos and you roll your eyes 

"Hey! What's going on Dal?" You hear a voice say and you look over to see Ponyboy and Johnny 

Pony pats Dally's shoulder and you smile at Johnny 

"Johnny that scar ever gonna heal?" You ask him and he just shrugs 

"At least you got like a battle scar now" Pony says and you snicker 

"Were early" Dally says and you lean against the poll

"What do ya wanna do?" Pony asks him and he takes a drag and exhales 

"Nothing legal man, lets get outta here" Dally says with a smirk and you roll your eyes 

"Christ Dally, I ain't going to jail" You mutter and he scoffs 

You get off the pole and follow alongside Dally real close to him 

He looks down at you and doesn't say anything but he only smiles and looks back up

He hands you his cigarette and you look up at him and then take it, taking a long drag and then exhaling feeling as that released a tension you were holding 

"Look at you, you druggie, taking all my drags" He says and you scoff, 

"You offered dummy" You say handing it back and he rolls his eyes with a big smile 

You four walked all the way to a gas station to get a break, 

"I'm so tired" You grumble and walk into the gas station, 

"Go get a drink then doll," Dally mumbles and pats your back as you walk to the freezers, 

Ponyboy punches his shoulder and he looks back 

"Shut it boys I'm just looking out for her" Dally says and watches you come back 

You were holding a Sprite and he had a fountain soda, 

You take a drink while he checks out, 

"You gonna share" Johnny asks you and you smile 

You hand him the soda while he sips it 

Finally Dally pays, 

"Lets go guys" Dally says and you follow behind him 

"Dally where are we going?" You mumble shoving your hands in your pockets 

"Just round' till the movie start doll" He says and you sigh,

"Its too hot for that Dal" You grumble and he chuckles

You walk out beside Ponyboy and that when you see a fight breaking out 

The Greaser punches the Soc real hard making you flinch 

Dally looked over at you, 

He grabbed your arm guiding you, Pony, and Johnny away from the fight 

Dally knew you didn't like fighting, he never knew why but it always triggered you 

And that's when you hear cop sirens, 

"Shit Dally we gotta go!" You whisper shout a bit worried and he chuckles 

"Doll we ain't the one fighting we'll be fine" He says and you follow Pony quickly as you four hurried out of there 

You walked over to DX, and Dally was immediately pestering Soda and Steve 

"Hey Sodapop" Pony says and Soda shakes his head 

"I ain't got no cash" Soda says and you giggle, 

"Anyone wanted to buy an old windshield wiper?" Dally says grabbing Steve's wiper 

"Come on Dally!" Steve says and reaches for it but he tugs it away 

"Give em' the money" Soda says and Steve sighs and yanks his wiper away from Dally 

Steve starts counting bills and hands them to Dally as he yanks them and he chuckles while counting the money 

"Dally you money whore" You scoff and he smiles

"You know it baby" He says and you cant help but giggle 

You three started to make you way to the movie lot, 

"So whats the movie about?" Johnny asked 

Dally reached up and put Johnny in a head lock pretending to punch him 

"Ow! Dallas! Huh?" Johnny grumbled and you hit Dally's shoulder 

"Whatchu' beating up on Johnny for?!" You say and he just laughs 

"Oh hush it Y/n, he's all right" He says and pokes your side making you push his hand away

"I don't know Johnny, one of those beach movies you know they put out a whole bunch of em" Dally says as he looks into the window of a store 

"I don't think they're all that great" You mumble and Dally nods 

You followed Dally into the back of a alley where you saw three kids playing cards, 

"Dally leave them-" You try to say but he waves you off 

"Hey, did I say you guys could play on my grass huh?" Dally says and you fold your arms 

"No" They all three mumble 

"What are you doing here?" Dally asks and the kids just looked at each other and didn't answer 

"Give me those cards will you?" Dally says and you look at Pony and shake your head 

The kids hurried and gathered all their cards up whispering to each other 

Then two of them hand him separate decks, 

"You guys ever played 52 pickup?" Dally asks them, 

"Yeah" One of them mumbles 

"What? Hey, don't get, don't get wise. I don't like little kids, I don't like 'em I just..." Dally says and looks away 

He then flips all the cards making them fly everywhere 

He looked over at you with a devious smirk and you shook your head

"GET OUTTA HERE OR I'LL KILL YOU!" He suddenly shouts 

He then started to run, Pony and Johnny following after him 

"Jesus Christ!" You mumble and hurry to catch up 

"Get outta here you little brats!" Pony shouts and you stop running panting

"Dallas your ridiculous!" You shout holding your knees 

He looks back at you laughing, 

You didn't think  it was very funny, you never liked running you could never breathe too well 

You pant a bit and cough and Dally looks back at you 

"Doll you just gotta breathe" He says and you shake your head 

He stops and walks over to you rubbing your back 

You finally catch your breathe and look up, 

"See not too hard?" He says smiling and you shove him only making him laugh 

"The sky's getting dark, lets go" Dally says 

"Lets go man" Johnny says and you follow behind Dally real close still breathing a bit heavier than usual

It was now pretty dark out, you followed Dallas as you walked up to a fence, 

"Dally are you sure we ain't gonna get caught?" You whisper and he chuckles 

"Of course doll how many times do you think I've done this" He says 

He then crawled under the gate, a hole in the fence, 

Pony then snuck his way under the gate 

You could hear the movie playing while you were trying to sneak in 

Pony gets on the other side and then helps Johnny to the other side and you got on all fours but you wouldn't go under, 

"Dally i'm too big i wont fit" You whisper and he snickers 

"Doll if the breeze gets too heavy tonight you'll go with it cmon'" Dally says and you get on your back and you look up side down and see Dally 

He sighs and reaches under grabbing your hand, 

He helped pull you under, and you coughed brushing the dust off your clothes but you didn't let go of Dally's hand 

He looked at you as you were overreacting from going under, but he didn't mind holding your hand 

You sighed and looked up and then you felt Dally intertwine your fingers with his and you instantly turned red 

"DALLAS" You shout and yank your hand away 

He laughs, both Pony and Johnny cracking up loudly 

"I was just keeping you hand warm doll that's all" Dally says laughing and walking off 

You then follow behind Dally your hands shoved in your pockets as you passed a bunch of cars looking for a seat

You could hear two greaser girls arguing with two greaser boys as you passed by cars 

Dallas the found two rows of free seats, 

He jumped over the orange poll blocking them 

Pony leaped over, Johnny worked his way over and you put your leg over then the other and scooted off, 

Dally sat down and Pony was gonna sit next to him, 

"Hey pony! That's my seat" You grumble and he sighs 

"Whatever, you just wanna sit by your boyfriend" Pony mocks and you huff 

You sit down and Dally whispers in your ear 

"You know it baby" He mumbles and you hit his shoulder 

"Shut it Dal" You grumble and fold your arms leaning back in the seat 

That's when two girls sat in front of you, 

"I'm freezing man" Pony says while the girls in front of you were rambling 

"Why didn't you bring a coat, stupid?" Dally says lighting a cigarette

"I forgot" Pony says and you shiver a bit too, rubbing your hands together 

"Jesus doll, do you need my coat" Dally says and looks at you holding his cigarette between his lips 

You wanted to say no, but you were desperately cold   

You nodded and Dally smiled, you looked like a cold toddler 

He chuckled and stood up shaking his coat off, he had another under it just not as big 

You get up as he helped you put it on, 

It was quite big, it smelt like cigarettes and clonge but most of all it smelt like Dally...

You quickly sit down and nuzzle your face in the coat 

Dally smiled real big and sat back in his seat 

"Some cute red head huh?" Dally said and you rolled your eyes 

You liked Dally he was your friend! But he was always a dumb flirt...which you hated it so much but it made you jealous

"Are you a real redhead?" Dally leaned up and whispered in her ear 

"Come on Dal" You say and hit his leg real hard and he swatted your hand 

Dallas leaned back and then kicked his feet up on the chair next to her 

That's when you looked over and saw Dally fall over in his chair, 

Pony laughed real loud, Dally got back up and near the girls ear 

"How can I find out if this is your real red hair? Is this the same red hair that you have on your....your...y-your...your eyebrows" Dally said with a big smirk touching the girls hair and you scoff 

Dally was a dirty man, and Jesus he was mighty stupid 

He then laughs sitting back in his chair, he kicked his feet up on the back of her chair and put his cigarette near her head 

"Get your feet off my chair, and shut your trap!" She shouts 

"Who's gonna make me huh" Dally says back to her 

"I'm going to get a coke" Johnny says and gets up

"Who your boyfriend" Dally keeps rallying the girl 

"You better leave us alone or i'll call the cops" She says 

"Oh my my, you got me scared to death, what- what am I gonna do now Pony, this girls making me shake" Dally says

"Why don't you just leave us alone, be nice and leave us alone!" She says sternly

"I'm never nice, can I uh interest you in a coke-cola or a 7-UP?" Dally tries to say 

"Get lost hood!" She suddenly yells making you jump 

"Okay I'm sorry, I didn't know...I didn't know you had this problem with- with yelling in my face" Dally says and sits back 

"Alright alright, i'll go I know when I'm not wanted" Dally says getting up 

You quickly grab his hand without thinking and he looks back at you 

"I'll be back doll hush" He says and walks away 

You look down at your hands and then at Pony, 

You didn't feel good, you wanted to go home

"Are you two gonna start in now on us too" The red head turns back 

"No" Pony simply says but you don't answer the dumb girl 

"You don't look the type anyway, what's your names?" The girl asks 

"Ponyboy Curtis" Pony said and you just kept quiet 

"I'll be back Pony" You mumble and get up 

"Be careful Y/n" he said and you nodded at him 

You got up, looking around for any sigh of Dally 

You walk up to the snack shack, where you get cokes and popcorn for the movie 

That's when you find Dally getting a bunch of sodas?

"Dally" You grumble and go up to him

"Y/n, doll whatcha doin outta your seat?" He says holding a bunch of sodas 

You look at him confused, 

"Lookin' for you! What the hell are you doin'?" You say and he hands you one 

"This ones for you" He says and you hold it 

"Dally please stop messing with her I just-" You try to say but he snickers 

"Oh please Y/n, its okay" He mumbles and walks past and you quickly follow

"Dally!" You shout but he walks back to the seats and you follow 

He hands Pony a soda, he then hands one next to the redhead girl, then he hands one to her 

He sits next to her and drinks his own soda 

You sadly sit down where you were sitting 

"This might cool you off" Dally says to the girl, 

He was taking a drag of his cigarette and then the girl threw his drink onto Dally 

You jumped as it took you by surprised but also splashed on you 

"Maybe that'll cool you off greaser!" She says and Dally only smirks 

"Fiery huh?" Dally mumbles and grabs her arms

She pushes him and they wrestle a bit, 

"Leave her alone Dal" Johnny says and stands up 

Dally stops and looks at Johnny getting pissed 

"What'd you say?" Dally says and glares at the girl and the looks back at Johnny 

"Come on you heard me" Johnny says, you looked over and you could tell he was scared 

"What'd you say you little shit? What'd you say to me? Wise ass" Dally mumbles the last part under his breathe and wipes his face off splashing the girl 

He stands up pushing his chair and he looked pissed, 

"Dally-" You try to say, 

"Shut it Y/n" He mumbles and you flinch 

He gets up and you go after him, 

"Dallas just stop" You shout tears forming in your eyes but you didn't know why 

He looks about about to be snappy but he could see the signs of you getting overworked 

"Hey hey...doll I'm sorry what happened" He says and you look away 

"I just don't feel good Dally I wanna go home, take me home Dally" You say your voice breaking as you try not to cry and you cover your eyes

He instantly feels bad for snapping at you back there and grabs your arms, 

"Hey Shhhhh, doll its okay, cmon' I'm taking you home alright, lets go..." He whispers and takes your hand as you sniffle and stay real close to him 

You leaned your head on his shoulder and he could feel how cold your hands were as he held them tight
