Kai's POV:

It's been a week since Trigger battled us. A week since Shin and I have been far better friends than before. A week since I lost against 'Roar'.

Shin has taught me a few more advanced tricks. I appreciate his help but there is something fishy going on that I don't know.

I suddenly got a call from Voltaire. 

"Hello Kai, my dearest grandson." 

"What do you want old man ?"

"I want you to come to Russia."

"Yeah yeah like I would"

" You lost your match, I heard."

"I'm hanging up."

"wait! I have something to give! Your mother owned it!"

"..."

"I'll give you an even harder and better training program"

"What is the thing that my mother owned, ...is it the envelope?". 

"yes, indeed."

"I am coming to Russia for the envelope, not the training!"

"Okay-"

[Call ended]

'How could I forget about that envelope!? That thing is the reason why I listen to my grandfather or he'll destroy it before I can even see it!!?. Dang! I hate that old man !'

"Hey, Kai -" I cut Ray off. 

"I am going of Russia." 

"Wait What ?!" 

" That old man has something important I need." 

"Huh?"

[Third Person's Pov]

"Why kai? Why are you leaving us again ?" said Tyson as he stepped into Kai's room.

" because of a personal reason."

"Tell me the reason! You leave us every time!! We are your friends Kai!"

"Tyson, stop it! Kai must be having a really personal reason. " Max tried to calm him down along with Kenny.

"No, Tyson is right Maxie. If we don't know the reason, we will feel betrayed." Daichi countered"

"That old man has my Mother's envelope that was supposed to be given to me, he has it and doesn't give it to me! The letter in that envelope was written a few days before she died. I have a deal with him that if I go to Russia, he'll give it to me. "

"You didn't tell us about it till now... did you not trust us? " Tyson was sure angry

"He must be sad. He can't just tell it like it's nothing. It must be near his heart. He would feel guilty for leaving you but he must be too depressed to talk about it. " said Tatsuki entering the room.

"*sigh* alright Kai... you can go... I know how it feels not to have a mother... BUT COME BACK SOON!!"

"Thanks... Tyson."

"Oh right! I came here to tell you guys that there will be no training this week because we need some rest from brutal training." Tatsuki announced.

[Kai's Pov:]

After a while, I walked out of the mansion, in the garden, I saw Shin (Shion) there, laying on the grass. For anyone, it would look like he's sleeping but he is meditating.

"Hey," I said as I sat on the grass next to him(her).

"Hey." He(she) opened his(her) eyes. I don't know why, but I have seen him somewhere

"I heard that you are going to Russia"

"Yeah."

"If you dare to back down from our match. I'll personally burn you to ashes." 

"Like you can. Oh and I'll be back for the match."

"Good, and I know I can." And there, he(she) went back to meditation.

The match we were talking about is a match Dream decided to have before preliminaries. We have decided stadium for it too. Shin(Shion) wants to battle me there.

I then stood up and walked to the main room. G-Revolution and G.O. D. were there except Shin(Shion) because he(she) was outside

"Hey Kai, can you go and gets us ice creams. Please!!!" Tyson requested.

" Yeah! Take. Shin(Shion) with you too, he(she) doesn't go out much. " Hilary chimed.

"Umm, I don't think that he(she) would go out -" 

"Don't worry Tatsuki, we will take care of that. "Ray said cutting Tatsuki off, getting a glare from him.

I don't know why but Delta was glaring at me. We don't talk much but it seems like he holds a grudge against me.

"Hey Delta, can we go too? with Shin and kai?"

[Third Person's Pov]

Delta mentally thanked Dante for asking the question. He knew that Dante didn't know about Shion's hatred towards kai and also that Dante asked the question because he loved to go to the town.

" Where are we going?" Shin (shion) asked, entering the room

"We wanted you guys to go and get some ice creams since you never go out, you should!" Hilary answered.

"Let's just go." said kai.

"wait."

"Bring some vanilla milkshake for me. "said Koichi entering the room with Hiro

"of course, how can I forget that? Alright, let's go."Shin(shion) agreed to confuse the others.

"Shin (shion), and Koichi are extreme lovers of vanilla milkshakes. But not any milkshake the one from Maji Bunger it's a fast-food restaurant." Lapis cleared explained

"Wow... " Tatsuki soon explained that they (Kunenai mansion's butlers) go to Maji Burger every Friday to get them milkshakes. 

"Woah... "No wonder they were shocked.

"Can we go with you Shin?" Dante asked...

"Yeah Sure."

"Let's go. "Kai said walking away. "Alright" followed Delta. 

[Time Skip ] Ray's pov:

In the end, all of us, Koichi and Hiro ended up going together because the ice cream would melt.

Mariah and The White Tigers are training hard in the mountains I have feelings for Mariah but don't have the courage to confess to her. I think she'll reject me because I left the team again... I haven't talked to them since the justice 5 tournaments.

I do feel that something bad is going to happen, I don't know why. I guess I'll have to be cautious.

"Since we came here, why don't we go shopping.?" Hilary exclaimed "Uhh... I don't know..." Lapis sweat-dropped at her excitement. I don't think she is that much fan of shopping.

"Did you guys forget that we have the school festival right a month after the Prelims, "Delta asked

"Yeah! Sadly, we have world championships after that. We won't be able to participate much in the festival. " Tatsuki grumbled.

"Then we'll enjoy the festival instead of participating," Koichi said while smirking.

"Easy for you, you are a popular guy AND not participating in the championships" Tatsuki groaned at his brother's smirk.

"Well, you guys do know that you don't have a choice. So, let's go back now." Hiro said.

"Alright!" Tyson exclaimed before eyeing kai and Shin (Shion) who were walking behind, both Smiling but Shin (Shion)'s guard was up. 

[ Time skip] 3rd person's POV:

"See ya soon dude. " Tyson said 

"Be careful Kai! " Mäx exclaimed. 

" Be back soon! I want a battle" Daichi shouted

"All the best on your journey Kai! "Ray Smiled. 

G.O.D. was waving at Kai, smiling too(Delta glaring slightly). Only Shin(shion) was keeping a poker face, Kai walked to him (her) patted his(her) head making him(her) blush.

"Take care of yourself."

Little did they know that many people were snickering at the scene of kai shuffling Shin (shion)'s hair and Shin (Shion) blushing madly. well, Kai did but was ignoring them.

"yeah, y-you too. b-Bye!" 'Do I still like him??? I should hate him !' 'No no no no I can't!'  

"Let's go guys," Hiro said as everybody walked back to the Kurenai Mansion...

Time Skip [ Shion's Pov ]

I was jogging through the town. Tyson and others went to Tyson's Family Dojo for a few days (which is also in this town)

I had been thinking about Kai, Shin, and the accident 5 years ago (Ship's death).

I had been thinking about today's morning ( Kai going to Russia) and if I still liked Kai or not.

Sadly I can't decide...

As I walked across a park, I saw someone familiar ginger head.

"Hey."

"Oh! Hey Shion...".

"Don't call me that in Public, Brooklyn"

"Heh!"

Brooklyn and I had met right before the Bega was formed. In this park. He knew my Identity because once, he and I were in this park along with Tatsuki and Koichi.  Tatsuki who forget that Brooklyn was here called my real name being an airhead. He also knows about kai due to me crying in the Park.

" What's the wrong Brook ?"

"..."

"Thinking about events of Bega?"

"...Yeah"

"Y'know, even though you were consumed by the darkness, I saw the light within you and I am glad that you realized that you needed to be a person who people can look up to. Your team bonds are far better now, I can totally see. Y'know, ...I am proud of you."

"Thanks, Shion, even though you are a tsundere you said that,  you made my day better care for a battle?"

"Sure Rookie Brookie!"

"Hey!"

[Time Skip, near 6 p.m.]

I was walking back to the mansion on my roller-skates. It's pretty far but I am using this opportunity as training. I heard some shuffling from the bushes, but Ignored it. suddenly, a basketball was thrown at me, I caught it.

'BAM'

"H-HELP"

"Shh..."
