Students, books, and papers flew throughout the hallway as they zipped down on their skateboard casually sucking tapioca pearls through a straw like it was the same shit everyday.
They made a quick right turn, saw the supply closet was open, and jumped off making their escape before the teachers could catch them. Upon closing and locking the door they turned to see a familiar blond boy staring wide-eyed and mouth agape.
"Close ya mouth blondie, your mouth's gonna dry out." They stated playfully.
"I- Uh....Um"
"See, you can barely talk. I told you your throat was gonna shrivel up. Want a sip?" They Held out the bubble tea and gave it a light shake, like you would to convince a scared pet.
"No, thank you..." He declined, gently pushing it away from his face.
"So, blondie, if I recall properly, you're the teacher's pet of my class. What's the lil pet doing here of all places? Aren't you supposed to be early to greet Miss Bellemere?" They teased leaning against the door.
"Pet? I can't tell if you're joking." He answered unamused.
"Hang around me for long enough and you just might find out, blondie." They laughed swirling their drink around to watch the little pearls spin.
"Sanji." He took a step forward.
"Hmm?" They looked up.
"It's Sanji, not blondie. And you're blocking the only exit." He said bluntly taking another step closer.
"Well Sanji, I'm Y/n. They probably aren't looking for me anymore so there's no reason to stay in your way." They slid away from the door, opening it dramatically.
"Thank you." He grumbled under his breath as he walked to class with a hint of haste in hopes of getting there before Miss Bellemere did.
Once in class he immediately started cleaning writing off his desk with the solution from the closet.
"Whatcha doing there, Sanji?" Y/n leaned over to see what he was so eager to rub away.
He quickly covered it with his hands.
"None of your business." He hissed quietly, glancing to see if the other classmates around them noticed. They didn't.
A few unpleasant words peeked out from between his fingers. Y/n's eyes narrowed.
"Alright, I'll leave it. " They knew what it meant, but chose not mention it. Broadcasting it would only make it worse for him.

Messy was the only way to describe the way Y/n fell into the desk next to him and plopped their feet onto it.
"What happened to your shoe?" He pondered aloud upon noticing the stripey sock free of it's shell.
"Lord Fu Fu the dog king demanded a sacrifice and who am I to refuse him?"
"I regret asking." He sighed and went back to work.
---
"Y/n... Y/n... Y/n!"
They felt something nudging their arm and finally lifted their head to see what looked like an angel surrounded by an orange glow.
"Hmm? What?" They murmered in a dazed state.
"School is over. You slept through the bell ringing. Also, I'm pretty sure these are yours." Sanji held up a few coupons for a free meals.
"Oh, those! Thanks, I need them for later." Y/n said grabbing them quickly.
"For what?"
"I gotta have something to eat tonight." They mumbled rubbing the back of their neck slightly embarrassed.
"Wait, if you're so broke, then how do you get bubble tea every morning?" He thought they were fine based on their luxury daily drink.
"Oh that, I'm friends with the owner of a bubble tea cafe. I help them get set up before school and get a free drink in return." Y/n said casually as though everyone had that one cafe owner friend.
Sanji paused for a moment then pulled out a piece of paper and wrote something down.
"Forget about the coupons and meet me here tonight at 7." He handed them the paper and walked off.
They watched his beautifully lit form disappear in the hall and looked at the note.
"Damn evening sun messing with me... Wait, Baratie? Isn't that place fancy?" They mumbled.
