Princess America Elinor Jadus Felizia Sebaugh was born on January 2, 1946. Her mother, Queen Emelise, went into labor while Harry Truman, the American president at the time, was visiting King Bartolomeu. The young princess got her name from the fact that her mother had gone into labor during a visit from the American president.

Princess America lived a rather spoiled life, being the only daughter and youngest of four. She was often doted on by her mother, the Queen sometimes going as far as to bring her toddler daughter to meetings.

However, the young princess' life tragically ended on Dangria's Day (Dia der Dangria) of 1952.

On October 15, 1952, Princess America was put to bed like normal at 8 o'clock PM. The rest of the castle, including her older brother, Prince Diego, were attending Dangria's Feast in the Great Hall.

Later that night, Caroline, Princess America's nursemaid, went to check on the girl. What she found was unspeakable.

The young princess was stripped naked and laid out on the floor. Her head and feet were missing. There was evidence of sexual assault.

Guards heard the nursemaid's scream and came running. They found her sobbing on the floor, holding the corpse of the girl she was supposed to watch.

Princess America's head was found three days later in the nearby Felidus River. Her feet were never found. The day her head was found, Caroline the nursemaid hanged herself. The day after that, Queen Emelise drowned herself in the river.

To this day, no one knows what happened to the princess. However, there are several theories.

Some believe she was the first victim of the Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes Killer, or the HSKT Killer for short. The HSKT Killer was a Brookinian serial killer active from 1953-1972.

People believe the HSKT Killer may be responsible because all 19 of their known victims were between the ages of 6 and 10, had brown hair, were of high social standing, showed signs of sexual assault, and were dismembered at the head and/or shoulders, knees, and feet. Their heads were always missing and found in water days after.

However, Brookinian police believe that the HSKT Killer may have been copying Princess America's killer.

Another popular theory is that Caroline killed the princess. However, this was disproven quickly, as Caroline was seen with her husband at the time of the murder.

This brings us to the most prevalent theory.

Princess America was murdered by her father, King Bartolomeu.

Some claim this theory makes no sense. Why would he kill his daughter? However, the people who knew the king the best agree that it's completely possible that he did.

"I was eight when Meri died," said Prince Diego in a 1983 interview. "I remember the night, though not well. I have two pretty vivid memories of the night, though. One was my father striking me for asking if Meri could stay up with us. The second was my father handing a lump wrapped in cloth to one of the guards, who took it outside. It was later that I would realize the cloth was Meri's quilt."

It should also be noted that it was a common occurrence for King Bartolomeu to be caught in bed with teenage girls, most of them being younger teens.

Queen Stormy, the current queen of Brookina, also agrees with this theory. It cannot be proved, though. Thus, the Princess' killer remains a mystery.
