A wolf pup and a puppy?

What's the difference?

Well,...

   A puppy doesn't has sharp teeth, a wolf pup doesn't have soft paws, a puppy doesn't have sharp ears, a wolf pup doesn't has round soft-like features of fur...

   But what they relate, is humans treat them differently. For wolves, not so good. For a puppy? They're treated like royalty.

   A puppy is cheerful and obedient.

   A wolf is to themselves and stubborn.

   But the main question is....

   What do they think about each other?

   A wolf pup looks across the street in the shade of the building, narrow his eyes at a puppy who's tail is wagging by the affection the other kids gave him.

   The wolfs ears lowers down feeling a pit of envy. Envious towards the pup, the smiling pup... A smile that the wolf seems to get irritated by.

   A growls a bit underneath his breath as he sulk his shoulders and continues to walk in the shadows.

    The puppy glances across to see the wolf looking down. The pup starts to feel bad for him... Frowning as his ears slowly go down and his tail stops to wag.

"I'll see you guys later. See you at school tomorrow!"

"Bye, bye!"

   The pup runs to the other side of the street—but of course looked both ways. The pup looks ahead where the wolf slouches his shoulders as he walks, the pup felt excited to maybe earn a new friend!

   He always seen the wolf alone, whenever he try's to invite him to play the other kids say—-

"Don't he's scary!"

"Look at those big hands! Ew."

"What if he bites us during the game?"

"He'll claw us!"

   And many more that makes the pup sadden and a bit frustrated that they judge the wolf by stereotypes and looks.

   The pups tail wags a bit when he gets closer, side to side now with the wolf.

   The wolf side eyes the pup and grumbles.

"What do you want?"

"I want to know what's your name?"

   The pup walks closer to the wolf which surprises it. Making him walk a little faster.

"Go away..."

   The wolf sternly says. Hoping the pup gives up there because he was not in the mood to talk.

   Plus all he thinks what the pup is a goody-two shoes, just smiling for attention and being all cute for complements.

   Even though the wolf was meant to be rude towards the pup, the pup just kept walking closer with a smile still.

"What's your favorite color? What's your favorite food! How come you're walking this way? Is this way your home?—"

   The pup kept barking up questions with a huge smile. The wolf became confused, and a bit flustered because no one hasn't talk to him for THIS long...

   Many people would simply say 'hi' and get scared the second he talks showing his fangs on accident.

   The pup simply smiled and happily walking beside him. The wolf became dizzy by the questions flooding in him, the questions that the pup asked.

   He huffs and stops making the pup stop with confusion.

"Stop following me! Y-You're getting annoying!!"

   The puppy tilts his head in confusion with a still smile. The wolf scrunches his snout up with a small frowning face to look intimidating towards the pup but it didn't work.

"Does something smell bad? Why's your face scrunch up?"

"SHUSH!!"

   The wolf runs away. He ran before halting to run through a alley.

   The pup skips towards the way the wolf ran and looks at the alley. Seeing no wolf but the smell the wolfs scent, it faded away by the wind that came by.

   The pups ears lowers down as he softly frowns.

   But then lightens up hearing his name called.

"Y/n? Y/n."

"I'm here mom!"

   He runs out. Seeing a cat lady who held a little kitten who snores on her chest in a baby holder.

   Y/n—the pup with a smiling face runs up to his mom with a wagging tail, the mom smiles down at her son and pets his head.

"What were you doing there? I thought I told you to wait at the school for me?"

"Sorry mom, I was walking with a friend!"

   His mother laughs by his up going personality.

"Really? Well then do you want head to the market now, we need to get medicine for your father and dinner. We're gonna have udon with your favorite, fatsia sprouts."

"Yay!"

   He pipes up.

   He walks hand to hand with his mom as he chats what he did during school.

   He did get a small scent of a familiar but when he glances he saw no one....

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

   After a year and couple of months of Y/n.... The poor pup trying to make friends with the wolf but never really succeed.

   The wolf does sometimes answer his questions but he never got his name.

   One day the wolf didn't came to school.

   The pup looked everywhere around the city desperately to find him but didn't...

   The pup remembers whimpering whenever he looks where the wolf would sit at during recess.

   Another day after a couple weeks of the wolfs disappearance. His mom was about to leave to drop him off then became shock seeing a small bag of worth thousands of dollars.

   He smelt the bag and it smelled familiar again....

   Which gave him small hope that the wolf, was out there somewhere.
