Sorry for not updating this for a while, I was busy with school since in where I live can have kids being homeschooled and need to do better with my school year... But here is the new chapter for ya'lls lovely people, also-

"Okay, that's everyone on my list!"

Everyone else groans with disappointment over Buster Moon's announcement, some began to leave with anger while others had sadness, then the koala remembered one that he also wants to save for the show "Uhm, wait a second Rosita..." he looks at his clipboard, while Mrs Crawley nods and began to scan the crowd of animals for her as the koala spoke "Is Rosita still here?" then the grown pig perks at the mention of name "Yes, yes I'm here!" Rosita called out raising her hand up with a hopeful smile on her lips, as she saw Buster looking over his clipboard were he wrote down his thoughts during her audition. "Hmm, Rosita, Rosita, Rosita has great set of pipes, but boring to watch..." the mother pig sighs with sadness overhearing those words and looks down, almost expecting those words to escape from his mouth "I knew it." as she looks up again "So, what should I do, I could partner you up with... Gunter! Gunter, where are ya?" Mr Moon called out then out of a bunch of animals pops out another pig, wearing golden workout clothes as a wide smile replaces his expression, from hearing his name being called "Ja, Ja, this is me!" Gunter runs and landed beside the woman pig, striking a pose as Buster and Mrs. Crawley smile in agreement over pairing the two, seeing Rosita has potential with her voice, she needs someone to help bring her entertaining side out to showcase. The koala laughs "Ja! It's gonna spice things up on stage." although not noticing Rosita's confused expression over the decision as her mimd was clouded with different thoughts "Wait, you want us to sing, together?" she spoke not realizing the koala and iguana's presence before her left "Ja! The two of us together, you joking me? We're going to spicy no?" Gunter laughs with excitement, while Rosita smiles nervously at the idea of her performing with this enthusiastic one.

Meanwhile,

While everyone waited for Buster Moon to return they decided to get to know one another in their spare time. Mike was the only one who didn't seem to join the conversation, since he was very persistent with winning the prize money ((being the selfish mouse that he is of course... 😒)) there was joy and laughter inside the theater as they chat "How did you guys meet?" Pete asked the gorilla and Jamie, the two's thoughts cloud with the memory. "Just an hour ago, while the auditions were happening, and we were in line, some animal pushed me and he helped me up." Jamie explained calmly, not wanting to give away the fact of Johnny's family being criminals, the young gorilla smiles mouthing 'Thank you' as she nods, then as the koala returned, they gathered as a group knowing it was time to focus for their first rehearsal "Okay. You are my chosen few" Buster spoke as they began to chatter with excitement "This is it, folks! A defining moment in all of our lives!" he stops as one of the animals who auditioned, it was the Q-Teez, a group of female red pandas and he spoke "Um no... Not you guys, I've dismissed all of the group acts already, you can go home." then the leader began to speak in a different language, some were unfamiliar with the words, but Jamie guessed that they were Japanese, remembering her brothers loving things that were related to that culture ((like Anime... xD)) Buster who was a little unaware with understanding their words, and had very little patience, tried to move them along "Look, I'm really sorry, but all the slots are filled." then the leader spoke again as they began singing and dancing to their music player, Jamie found herself giggling over Buster was having a hard time with cooperating with the Japanese girl group, but the koala switches it off as Mrs. Crawley walks in showing them the way outside as they scurried out of the theater.

"Hey Moon." Everyone's attention including the koala' as they saw Mike on top of a small chest, that were on top of the props "What's the story. Is the prize really inside this thing?" The mouse asked referring to the hundred thousand dollars prize "The prize? Oh sure. Yes, it's all in there." Buster spoke looking back at his clipboard, and everyone got into excitement on the prize money inside the chest as a smirk appears onto Mike's small face "Well open it, will ya? I wanna see what $100,000 looks like." the koala looked at them with a smile, as he heard everyone else insist with showing them their prize, and nods "Sure, I'll open it." then his smile was replaced with a frown after realizing something in his mind "Wait, what did you say?" he looks up at Mike over his question, Jamie's face turned after seeing Buster's face "He said $100,000." A male sheep, Eddie ran up to the stage holding the orange flyer that was seen all over the city, with his expression being the same as the koala's, who ran to him grabbing the flyer, scanning the words carefully to get every view and his stomach dropped, that's why there were so many animals that auditioned, it was because of the prize money, that was supposed to be a thousand dollars only, he then thought that something went wrong while his iguana assistant, Mrs. Crawley was making the flyers yesterday. The koala gasps and covered his mouth right before he could scream and had a terrified look over his face, knowing the others were behind him, then he turns around nervously, crumpling the flyer to a ball and tossed it away, laughing slowly "I forgot my keys." Buster said walking slowly next to the elder iguana "Koala be right back." he gave one more smile assuring them that there was no problem, as he takes Mrs. Crawley's hand running away to his office. Leaving everyone inside the theater with confusion...

"What was that all about?"
Mike spoke as everyone began to talk, over what just happened. Eddie already left while they thought inside their heads over what just happened with the koala.

Minutes passed and everyone was still talking, some already thought that it was problem with the paycheck over the theater. Jamie. However, thought otherwise, she knew that it couldn't be any of their suggestions and wanted to get an answer over the situation, the young girl sat down on the edge of the stage as she was inside her mind "Hey, you okay?" Johnny asks noticing his friend alone, he had concern over the look across her face, the young girl snaps out of her running thoughts and gave a small smile "Huh? Yeah, yeah... I'm fine." she replied looking at the rows and rows of seats on the audience section and the young gorilla nods, after a minute or so, Jamie gets down from the edge landing on the red furry ground and decided to look around the theater to help clear her mind "Jamie, where are you going?" Rosita asked as everyone else turned to their friend, as she stops in her steps, quickly turning around with a smile "I'll just head to the restroom." the female pig nods as everyone continued their chat as she went to fire exit and went upstairs finding herself inside a room, revealing the rehearsal spaces, as she walks around the backstage looking at the racks full of costumes along with the theater props and smiles lightly over finding a pair of wings in a box, then her head perks up from hearing voices not too far, Jamie finds wooden stairs and slowly made her way, hearing the voices a little better and continued "Miss Crawley, you had one job to do, one job!" a male spoke with worry, she recognized that voice being Buster's as she was on the top, she leans her head against the wall getting curiosity over the conversation "Buster, calm down, I already told you that this plan of yours wasn't going to work-" "I KNOW! And now what am I supposed to do?! There are a bunch of animals down there that auditioned only for one thing and that's the hundred grand! You think I can just waltz right back inside and say 'Oh guys, I forgot to mention that prize isn't real and I lied to all of you, so can we still continue?" Jamie gasps silently, covering her mouth as her face saddens, something inside of her just broke into shattered glass, her mind gets clouded with herself talking as Buster and the others inside continued talking.

It was all a lie?

She joined this all for nothing?

Her one shot in making a life here if she couldn't get home was a sham, so she'll spend the rest of her life living in this world that was bigger than she was...

Something changed that moment inside of Jamie, something snapped. Her mind was full of anger and hate towards Buster's lie over the hundred grand, she knew that the prize was her one chance on making a life here if she was unable to get home. And now, just as she made new friends, made it through as one of the final contestants, then, she finds out about this and her joy fades away, her whole world around her fading away into ashes. Jamie sighs silently, running her hand through her hair with frustration, the young girl knew that the others also joined for a good reason of their own, to make a difference and change things right that aren't going well in their lives (except Mike's) and they'd be very disappointed as she was, over all of this being a hoax, Jamie slowly crawls to the stairs to tell everyone about the hundred grand, carefully making sure she didn't attract Buster and Mrs. Crawley, a blank expression takes over her features and hear ears began to hear the rest of their conversation. "Look, maybe it's time to stop thinking, and it's time to just move on... I mean, this theater of yours, you could get some decent money for it and..." Eddie pauses looking at an old recording microphone near him, and examines it "I don't know, maybe we could do something together?" he suggests with a smile and Buster began to lose it "What? what, sit around playing video games?" as the koala lets out a light scream, calms down and points to his right "Do you know what that is?" "Uh, it's a bucket?" and he continued "Yes, and do you know why I have this bucket?" Eddie answers swiftly "Because the roof is leaking?" Buster face palms on at his friend answering "No, that's the bucket for the leak." he points to another one beside the one before his friend, that is filled with water as drips from the roof falls rapidly, and walks up to the other one taking it off the shelf with a smile "I have this one because it belonged to my father, everyday for thirty years, he worked his tail off just so I could buy this place..." the koala's smile fades away on his father no longer around "Everyday, Eddie... Just for me." Buster repeated staying silent afterwards as his eyes began to water with tears, he loves his theater and won't give it up without a fight, it was his long life dream to make his career in show business successful, not only of his love for theater but because his father worked so hard and for so long to help him fulfil his son's dream, and Buster keeps the bucket his father used as a cherished memento to remind him that there's always a prize after hard work.

Jamie was speechless overhearing this...

Her anger disappeared from Buster explaination, what his dad did for him to help accomplish his dream, he worked for thirty years, everyday to earn cash for his son to buy this theater. And it came true, for the theater now being his in this time,  hearing the sadness in his voice, she assumed Mr. Moon's father has passed on from this world, and Buster keeps the bucket his father used in his car-washing business to make that dream a reality. She felt sadness towards the young koala's loss and wanted to help keep this theater up with him, despite the controversy on the prize being a lie, Jamie wanted to pull through with the competition focusing on her dream, which was to sing and that was clouded inside her mind from all the anger and hate over greed over the hundred grand. Disappointment was inside her mind on her emotions as she thought "Ugh, I shouldn't have been so selfish... What Buster is doing is right, and I was wrong" Jamie sighs squeezing her eyes shut, knowing the consequences, everyone would probably hate her from keeping this a secret from them, she wouldn't go home to her family in their home world and worst of all. Fail with fulfilling her dream on becoming a singer. Knowing that what she's been doing over the first years as a teenager and to accomplish her dream, wasn't going as planned, for she was lazy and stubborn when it came to some people telling her to do this and not that, thinking her way was better than anyone else' opinion. She felt her tears drip onto her hands, that fell down her cheeks, she breathes in and out to help calm down "Wow. Sounds like a great dad." Eddie spoke after all of the silence that inside the room, Jamie made her way downstairs carefully to backstage and walks to a restroom to wipe her face from all the tears escaping, getting herself fixed up for anyone to suspect that something was up.

"Jamie, there you are! What took you so long?"

Johnny asked, concern filled inside of his voice from his friend being away for what felt to him like hours, everyone seemed to notice his point and got curious of why, Jamie moves her head with a smile "I'm fine guys, no need to worry, I was just heading to the restroom and afterwards. Got a little lost in thought with some things I thought that were right, but, were only for my own interest and feeling disappointment over leaving other's opinions out to help me be better, but I didn't and wasted my time..." she explained calmly, from what she just told them was true, leaving out about the hundred grand, that her ways to becoming a singer was only appealing to herself and not taking anyone's advice on how to do it better being selfish and arrogant. Rosita walks up to the young girl giving her a long but gentle hug, seeing her trying to keep a sob from escaping, it was almost like she saw one of her little piglets crying from doing something wrong and afterwards comfort them, then Gunter joins in followed by Johnny, Pete along with the frogs embrace their friend with caring smiles over their lips. Mike just stood on his own from the lovey dovey hug, rolling his eyes with his arms crossed, then they back away seeing Jamie letting her tears fall down with a sad smile on her lips "T-thanks guys, it means a l-lot." she thanks and then the doors fly open to reveal Buster and they turn their attention to the koala away from their friend, whom she doesn't mind, as concern takes over from the sudden burst from Buster into the theater, as she wipes her tear strains quickly as he made his way towards the stage with a stern look on his face "Okay, everybody, listen up! I gotta send you all home. Right now." Everyone got confusion from his request, when they were supposed to have rehearsal, Jamie felt a lump stuck inside of her throat, thinking that he was going to tell them the truth and gave up on ideas for keeping the theater up.

"Yup. Cuz' like my dad used to say; 'Get a good night's sleep and do a great day's work!' "

A smile creeps across her lips 'Now that's the Buster I know' she thought cheerfully, turning to see everyone having the same expressions of excitement replacing confusion. "That's right, Rehearsals begin first thing tomorrow morning. And if you wanna become stars and win a hundred grand, then you better be ready to work harder than you've ever worked in your lives." Buster climbs up the stairs onto the stage in front of us "So, get some sleep, and Dream Big Dreams!" We all cheer happily with joy and excitement running through our veins, then the Q-Teez come out behind the koala and began singing their song again leaving Buster with annoyed look as he calls for Mrs. Crawley, Rosita and Jamie giggle making their way off the stage and towards the exit of the Moon Theater. When the young girl stops on her steps, looking back and made her way to see the koala "Jamie, where are you going?" Ricki calls as the others turn their attention back to their human friend "I forgot something, I'll be right back!" she says continuing her way back inside the theater.

She heads backstage, up the stairs to the office of Mr. Moon and opens the door lightly as Mrs. Crawley smiles "Jamie! What are you doing here deary?" she asks walking up to her placing her glass eye back inside "I just came to see Mr. Moon is he here—"

"Mrs. Crawley I need you to-Oh Jamie! what are you doing—" Jamie cutting him off by pulling the koala into a soft embrace. Buster was shocked at the sudden embrace contact, but returned by hugging back with a warm smile as Mrs. Crawly watched beaming sweetly.

"Thank you..." she breathed out backing away as she was kneeling in front of the small koala bear, with a thankful smile on her lips as Buster stared at her with his eyebrow up. "F-for what?" she paused and pulled back with her hands down. "For helping me, you saw something inside of me that I didn't know was there..." she explained as the showman gave her a grin, "O-oh well, you're welcome Jamie." the stutter made the young girl's face heat up lightly as she stood up brushing her hair away. "Anyways, I will see you tomorrow for rehearsal... Bye!" she said leaving the office with the happiest look all over her face, making her way back to the others. Buster standing still in spot from seeing one of his contestants very happy, still a little confused on Jamie hugging him but nonetheless liked it.

Tomorrow is going to be a big day for her and the others, she is going to work hard everyday, to get better and take people's advice to help accomplish her dream.

That was a lot of writing I had to do, anyways, that was very emotional wasn't it? ((If it's not I'm sorry lolol)) Also. Everything that I wrote down that has the fact of me being a lazy **s ****h is true, but I'm starting change with doing productive things to do good for me, don't hate me for being like that before. Hope you guys liked this chapter! It took me a while to write this, so, worth the wait I guess? I will update as soon as I can for this one, thanks for supporting this story and remember-
