"Answers"
A month had passed, the incident with that male gorilla running through her head. But it included the other animals she saw or heard that day, not to mention how she's been trying to find a job, which was complicated...
Because she was a teenager, some of the requirements was having a college degree which she didn't have nor have the time to attend. Others led to a discussion with the manager over seeing their ad in the newspapers she read every week. Unfortunately, they usually decline in hesitation with a teenager doing a job, especially one that was a creature no one had seen before.
So it's been really frustrating, knowing full well that she can't always depend on Ginn and Jason to look out for her or be the generous ones with spending their own money for her with provisions. Ginnifer has noticed her pressured state lately, concerned for her friend, Jamie.
She's been supportive every step of the way with Jason and Tiny as well, even when she was on duty or needed at the station. Making sure her friend was safe and had all the things she needed when she wasn't there, but what pained Ginn the most was Jamie not having any friends, besides her and the two male foxes.
It was just them she knew and the female bunny knew one day that she had to discover things on her own, all by herself but on the side note her concern included the confinement in staying inside the apartment over a month, no free time away from all her worries on getting a job or getting home, nor making nee friends with any animals her age. Ginn wanted to make it up for her friend in a way, but how was the question...
She tried looking for ways that could fix Jamie to go outside, take some time off and make new friends! Just a few would make the furry animal's heart burst with happiness to know that she would be fine...
Thursday. Nov 1st. 10AM
She and Jason were assigned by their chief, on their daily street patrol through the streets, watching for any criminals or suspicious activity occurring at any moment possibly, Ginnifer is in the drivers seat with her eyes exquisite open for anything crime-related activity while, Jason was chilling in the front row seat beside her seatbelt unbuckled, shades on hovering his eyes, and while munching on a strawberry pawsicle. The Fox decided to stir up a little conversation,
"So, are all rabbits bad drivers? Or is it just you?—"
Ginnifer pushes the brake, causing the fox to fall forward with his pawsicle 'oof!' knowing his seatbelt was unbuckled. So she decided to give him a little shove for the tease, smirking slyly. "Oops, sorry... "
Jason gets back onto his seat, pulls the pawsicle that was on his face and lets out a low chuckle at her mock. "Sly bunny. "
"Dumb fox." Ginn teased with pure confidence on her face, looking ahead at the road in front of them and continued her lookout.
"You know you love me..." Ginnifer frowns, holding back a smile as she turns to Jason to see him doing his fox smolder at her, and she rolls her eyes in amusement with low breath.
"Do I know that?" She paused for a bit, then shows her cheery smile to Jason. "Yes, yes I do..."
Then a blue pick up truck zoomed pass them by a red light. "We've got three suspects in a blue pick up truck, stole cash from the bank going through sesame street!" A police yelled through their police comms, they zoomed off into action to chase the unknown theives and bring to justice, then the driver stopped the car, as Jason and Ginn exit their vehicle and walk to the drivers window. "This is officers Ginnifer and Jason, you're surrounded! Step out of the truck with the cash or—"
Before Ginnifer could see their suspects, papers flew into and Jason's eyes blocking their sight at the thieving group, but got a glimpse of a black fur, and with them distracted the leader yells at the driver to go, the sounds of burning rubber piercing their ears, smoke filling the area as the group left the two cops, Ginnifer and Jason looked up to find the truck gone, and orange flyers moving as the wind blew them around the city (just imagine Ginnifer pissed like Astrid during her last chance on beating Hiccup from httyd 😂) Jason takes a hold of one and read the advertisement, while Ginn is in her furry frustration of losing their group of thieves. Then a sudden smile appears on the fox's face over an interesting post it had. "Heeeey carrots, I think this will help you're problem—"
She growls lowely looking at her partner, disappointed. "Jason! Not now, we have to find the fast driver suspect. We lost them!!"
"Woah, woah, calm down carrots. We'll find him don't worry, okay? Here read this..." Jason held out the flyer for her to take and she did so furiously, as she slowly began to read closely, her anger faded away as she continued reading it word by word.
A singing competition at the Moon Theater, hosted by Buster Moon for a grand prize of $100,000 dollars, then she got the idea her partner was giving, having Jamie sign up and win the prize money which would be enough provision for her to have a life here.
If there was no way for her to return to her actual family, this would be enough. Pulling Jason into a bone crushing hug and gave him a peck on the lips, smiling happily at the fox. "Jason thank you, this is what will help Jamie!!"
The fox nods, a soft smile across his lips. "You're welcome carrots. "

🎵Jamie's POV🎵
I was in the living room while Ginn was on patrol with Jason, being a police officer and all. Holding a bowl of homemade fruit salad she made while reading a book to pass the time. Though, with being in a relaxed state over concentrating over a book. The thought of those animals from a month back were running through my mind lately 'A mouse in a red suit and a fedora, a girl punk porcupine, and soulful non criminal teenage gorilla? It's so familar...-UGH! Why can't I remember?! I'm so stupid... ' I left a low groan escape, accomponied by a sigh closes the book, looking down upon the floor, confused, upset and all the more in grieve.
Changing her position on the couch, as her eyes stare upon the plain, hard, concrete ceiling with nothing but silence surrounding her ears, Jamie had a stressed week, but on the more positive side, was able to find a job to earn more cash, but there were more lows than highs, my family haven't answered my call from a weeks back, my parents didn't even send a text nor give a slight phone call with worry over their youngest daughter being missing. My heart was crumbling into a million pieces, I got up onto my feet, walking toward my room and let myself fall flat onto my bed, landing softly, feeling the soft fabric cascading over my skin in a comforting way, my eyes beginning to close as I do so. "This doesn't make any sense..."
Sighing softly, 'how was I going to get home if I do not know how I got here?' Darkness beginning clouding my vision as went into deep slumber...
That was until a female bunny barges into my room, the door slamming loudly that the wall made a loud thud, she had something in her paw. An overjoyed look on her face, I was amused at the sight of Ginnifer acting like a child on Christmas morning, all the more being curious with what what made her up so happy and up beat.
"Hey what's going on, why're you so happy?" I asked with a smile on my face, sitting up, leaning against the headboard as Ginn jumping up and down on the couch...
"I think I've got something that you might be interested in..." She held the flyer up in front of my face, gesturing me to hold it. I do so and began to read the orange piece of paper that made Ginnifer so excited and my eyes saw the title. "A singing competition?" Then began to read it aloud: "Singing Competition Auditions, the winner will receive the grand prize of $100,000... Open auditions at the Moon Theater, 551 Echo Drive street."
There was morning to describe Jamie's emotions after reading the who thing, a somewhat shocking revelation that could be the answer to all of her problems! It was enough money to prepare her for make a living for herself and get a job.
But besides all of that, she could fulfill her dream of becoming a singer, the young girl loved music with all her heart as both music and singing was a huge part of her life growing up. Dreams of performing in front of an audience, creating her own music, changing the music industry for the better and not do it for fame or fortune, but for her love of music!! The bunny smiles at seeing her friend's excited expression.
But my face fell in knowing my existence will be blown if I pursue this, Ginn noticed this and asks. "What's wrong?"
"It's just that animals will know about me and I am not sure if it's a good idea to have me, a human for the entire world to see."
A frown hovered her furry features. "Well... Then let them stare, sometimes there are people who are different because they were born to stand out." She encouraged whilst grabbing my hand and felt her soft paw holding mine.
I felt a bit of weight taken off my shoulders from hearing her words. "So what do you say?"

Ooh!!! Jamie got an answer to her problem thanks to Ginn! So that means she's going to the moon theater to see and meet some familiar faces, this could be her ONE chance to live a life for herself and become the singer she's always wanted to be!
