Third Person pov:

Naru and y/n sat on the top bunk of their bed. "There's some more bey news!" Naru exclaimed.

She turned on her ipad. The bey news theme started playing and it showed Lui Shirosagi coming out of a plane.

"With the World Title on the line, Lui Shirosagi returned to Japan to challenge Valt Aoi in what will be a match for the ages!" the announcer, Hanami exclaimed.

"Lui Shirosagi, huh?" y/n muttered.

"Not showing any sign of slowing down, he's made a beeline from the airport and is heading directly to the Bey Arena Training Center. Without even a moment's rest, Shirosagi has started his top-secret training regimen. I wouldn't want to be Valt Aoi right now!" Hanami yelled.

"Hmm, so Lui's doing some secret training?" y/n asked. Naru nodded.

"I'm sure it's amazing!" Naru exclaimed. y/n nodded. A mischievous look crossed her face.

"What are you planning?" Naru asked. y/n hopped down the ladder and down to the floor.

"Oh, nothing. Let's go help Aiger wash the sheep!" y/n said, smiling. Naru nodded and she followed y/n out the door.

The two girls entered the gate. Aiger was already putting soap on one of the sheep.

"Hey, Aiger!" Naru said. "We're gonna help you wash the sheep."

"Thanks, y/n! You don't have to though, I could handle this on my own," Aiger said.

"Thank you, y/n. What about thank you, Naru?" Naru muttered under her breath.

Naru squatted down by the sheep Aiger was washing and started to help him.

y/n started washing a different sheep.

"I can't stop thinking about Lui's top-secret training! I mean, it's gotta be so awesome, right?" Aiger said.

"Pay attention, the bubbles!" Naru exclaimed.

"I can't get it off of my mind!" Aiger yelled while Naru sweatdropped.

"ALRIGHT!" Aiger yelled. He laughed and started running away.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Naru asked. Aiger hopped over the fence and started running away.

y/n grinned and ran off to follow him. "Not you too, y/n," Naru sighed. "Well I guess it's just you and me now," she said to the sheep.

y/n's pov:

It seems Aiger and I really do think alike. I just gotta know what Lui's top secret training is! I followed him to the Bey Arena Training Center.

"Hey, Aiger! Wait up!" I yelled. Aiger turned around and started jogging backwards.

I caught up to him and started running fast. Aiger glared and we started racing towards the stairs leading up to the training center.

We ran right up the stairs and in between two security guards. Maybe if we go fast enough they won't notice?

"Hey kids you can't go in there!" one of them said. Crap. I guess they did notice.

"Sorry, but you can't stop us! We're on a roll!" I called back. We ran through the hallways to find Lui's top-secret training spot.

Once we ran through a few hallways we stopped and took a break. I sat down and leaned against the wall while Aiger put his hands on his knees and started panting.

"Hey! Where in the world are you hiding, Lui?!" Aiger yelled. "Come out and face me!"

"Come on, dude! You can't hide forever! Just come out and make it easier for yourself!" I yelled. Geez, I sound like I want to murder him or something.

"Where do you think he could be?" Aiger asked. I shrugged.

Suddenly, I heard some snap in a room to the right

"Eh? What's that?" Aiger muttered. We walked up to the door and it opened automatically.

"It's coming from here," I said. We entered and three cables flew through the air towards us. I jumped out of the way just in time.

I looked up and saw the Lui Shirosagi standing in front of a giant machine.

"It's you, Lui Shirosagi!" Aiger exclaimed, pointing a finger towards him. He started laughing. "I get it. This is your secret training!"

"Guess we were right. You are strong!" I said. Aiger started walking up towards him.

Lui tensed and he gripped the handle attached to the cables and pulled them back with a yell.

Aiger jumped out of the way just in time. Again. "Hey! You could hurt someone with that! What's your problem?" I yelled, running up to Aiger to see if he was okay.

He pulled the cable again and they snapped back, just barely missing me. "Are you really ignoring us right now?" Aiger yelled.

I grabbed the cable to stop it from going back to the machine. Lui turned around with a glare.

"That's better. The name's Aiger Akabane. And this is y/n l/n," Aiger said. I dropped the cable and it went back to the machine.

"Lui Shirosagi, I challenge you to a battle," I said. I pulled out my b/n and held it out.

"Not if I battle you first!" Aiger yelled. He took out Achilles and held it out as well.

"You both have Turbo Beys, huh?" Lui said. This was the first time he'd talked to us.

I tried to hold in my laugh. He looks so intimidating on TV but he's really just a short guy with big eyebrows.

He scoffed and started to turn around. His Luinor started to glow and he looked back at us.

"Tell me, what's that bey?" he asked.

"You're lookin' at Z Achilles," Aiger said.

"No, not you. The girl. I think I've seen you somewhere," Lui said, pointing at me.

"First of all, it's rude to point. Second, I've been on TV before. And third, my name is y/n and this is b/n," I growled.

He looked from me to Luinor and back again. "Ah, why not. I will accept both of your challenges. Prepare to face Brutal Luinor."

Aiger gasped and Lui started to glow his blue and purple aura. "Hope that training worked cause I'm comin at you full force," Aiger said.

"Who's going first?" Luinor asked. Aiger stepped forward.

"I'm taking this one, if that's alright with you, y/n," Aiger said, looking sideways at me.

"He's all yours. Wipe the floor with him!" I yelled. I wonder how Aiger's going to do against Lui. I mean, no offence or anything but Aiger doesn't really stand a chance against him.

They took their stances by the stadium. I stood on one side to ref. "Here we go," Aiger said.

"Bring it!" Lui replied.

"First battle! Ready? And set!" I yelled.

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"Let it rip!"

They both rushed into the stadium. "Isn't it supposed to spin the other way?" Aiger asked.

I smirked. I still haven't battled against Aiger yet but b/n has the ability to spin both ways too in battle.

"Finish this!" Lui exclaimed. Luinor headed straight for Achilles and burst it right away.

"A burst finish! Luinor wins with a score of two to zero," I said. There is no way Achilles could have bursted so quickly!

"That all the fight you got? How pathetic," Lui said. I growled and shoved him a bit.

"Nobody trash talks my friends like that," I said. "Now it's my turn." I turned to Aiger. "You did a great job, Aiger. Can you ref?"

Aiger nodded slowly and put Achilles back together. I put b/n on the launcher and took my stance. I changed b/n's spin direction quickly before anyone could notice.

They're sure in for a surprise. I thought. "Alright! First battle! Ready? And set!" Aiger said.

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"Let it rip!"

Lui's eyes widened when he saw b/n spin the same direction as him. "What?" Aiger exclaimed.

I smirked. "Go, b/n! Lightning Storm!" I yelled. b/n crackled with lightning and rushed towards Luinor.

It hit it with a large explosion but when the smoke uncovered, Luinor only wobbled a bit.

"What?!" I exclaimed. Lui laughed.

"Go, Luinor," He yelled. Luinor suddenly had a burst of power and raced towards b/n.

It smacked right into it and sent b/n flying right out of the stadium and landed by my feet.

"Come on! One more time!" I yelled.

"No. You two aren't worth it. And while we're on the subject, you're not worthy of that Turbo Bey," Lui said.

"Hold on! What's that supposed to mean?" Aiger yelled. Suddenly, someone grabbed me from behind.

"Hey!" I yelled, trying to get free. I wiggled out of the security guards grip.

"Aw, forgot about you guys," Aiger said as they dragged him out.

"Lui, we'll show you just how worthy we are of our beys! You won't be smiling then!" I yelled.

I let the security guard guide me out of the training center and met up with Aiger on the bench.

"Geez, what rude buttheads," I muttered. "Come on, let's head back to school. Tomorrow is the big day. We gotta save our energy to watch Valt and Lui's battle."

Soon it was dark out and I tossed and turned in my bed. Outside, I heard Aiger screaming. "I CAN'T SLEEP!" 

I hopped out of bed and wrote a quick note so Naru wouldn't worry.

I walked outside to Aiger's tent. "Hey, Aiger?" I said gently. The tent unzipped and Aiger poked his head out.

"Hey, y/n. What's up?" he asked.

"I couldn't sleep much either, can I sleep with you?" I asked. Aiger blushed but nodded.

The two of us fit in the large sleeping bag perfectly and Aiger tried to avoid contact with me. I laughed quietly. "What's so funny?" Aiger asked.

"Oh, nothing. Let's just go to sleep," I said. "I'll see you tomorrow, Aiger."

"See you tomorrow, y/n," Aiger said with a yawn. And soon enough, I fell asleep.
