Third person pov:

y/n walked down the sidewalk after talking with Toko about the tournament. She was heading over to Aiger's tent when she heard Naru scream.

y/n ran over and saw Naru standing outside of the fenced area where all the animals lived. But all of the animal's had crowded over to one corner in fear of something.

y/n looked up and saw Hae-jin Oh, the guy who tied with her in the qualifiers.

"Umm, what are you doing?" y/n asked. Hae-jin turned around and y/n saw he was holding a broom.

"Cleaning. Everything should be tidy. When they are, you smile," Hae-jin replied. y/n blinked stared out into space.

"Wait, that's a smile?" y/n asked again. Hae-jin "smiled" at her, looking more like a grimace.

"I have come here to challenge y/n l/n and Aiger Akabane to a battle," Hae-jin replied. "I remember you from the qualification rounds. You are y/n l/n."

"Yeah, that's me!" y/n said. "So, you said you want to battle? Why don't we get sta-"

"HEY!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!!!" Aiger yelled, running up behind them.

"Talking to y/n l/n about battling," Hae-jin said. "You must be Aiger Akabane."

"Well if you're battling y/n, I'm battling you too!" Aiger exclaimed, showing Achilles to him.

"I heard you are a strong blader, Aiger," he said.

"You got that right! I'm the strongest blader in the world!" Aiger replied.

"I also heard you lost to Valt Aoi," Hae-jin said. Aiger anime-fell while y/n laughed.

"How do you know something like that?" Aiger laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck.

"I heard it from Valt himself. I strive to be just like Valt, so I made this turbo bey," Hae-jin said. "This is Archer Hercules." He took out his bey and pointed it at Aiger.

"Wow, that's nice. But my Z Achilles is way cooler than your bey," Aiger replied, while pulling out his bey and pointing it at him.

"Hey, don't forget about me!" y/n exclaimed, pulling out b/n. "I need a challenge once in a while."

"Alright! I'm battling you fir-" Aiger started. y/n placed a finger on his lips to silence him.

"Not this time, Aiger. I'm battling him first," y/n said, pulling her finger away.

Aiger turned pink. "Fine!" he said, turning away. "Let's just go to the bey stadium!"

y/n jogged over to the bey stadium. "He may be big, but I can definitely overpower him," she muttered with a grin. 

Hae-jin took out his launcher and attached Hercules. He stepped back and pointed the launcher at the stadium.

"Umm, what are you doing? Is this part of your warm up routine? Cause it's pretty awesome-looking!" y/n said.

Hae-jin put his launching cable into the launcher. "Okay, let's do this thing!" y/n exclaimed. I'm gonna go with clockwise mode.

"You're on," Hae-jin replied. Aiger grinned and hopped over to the side of the stadium.

"I'm gonna ref! Alright, ready? And set!" he yelled.

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"Let it rip!"

Hercules landed flawlessly in the stadium and sped towards the center. b/n circled around the edge.

That was a spot on launch. That must have been what he was doing. y/n thought.

"b/n, go!" y/n yelled. b/n rushed towards Hercules and crashed into it. The attacks barely did anything as Hercules blocked each one.

"This is the power of Archer Hercules!" Hae-jin said. y/n grinned.

"Well this is the power of b/n!" y/n yelled. "Go! Lightning Storm!" Lightning crackled around b/n as it sped towards Hercules.

"Now Hercules! Release your endless spin!" Hae-jin exclaimed. There was a big explosion and both beys pieces were burst in the middle of the stadium.

y/n bent down and picked up Hercules and b/n's parts. She handed Hercules to him. "That was some wicked power! Let's totally battle again sometime!"

Hae-jin nodded. He turned and pointed at Aiger. "Now it's your turn."

"Aww yeah! Let's go! We're gonna show you Achilles and I are the best!" Aiger yelled.

y/n hopped over to Aiger's place. "Alright you two. Ready? And set!"

"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"Let it rip!"

Hercules rushed to the center again while Achilles circled around like how b/n did in y/n's battle.

Another flawless launch. How is he doing that? y/n thought as she observed the battle.

"Alright, Achilles! You know what to do, Z Breaker!" Aiger yelled.

"Hercules! Release your endless spin!" Hae-jin yelled. They both glowed their auras as the beys collided.

The stadium glowed a bright light before disappearing. Achilles was burst and Hercules was still going strong.

"That's some amazing stamina!" Aiger exclaimed, picking up Achilles.

"Let us battle again sometime," Hae-jin said.

In the evening...

y/n tucked Naru into bed before going over to the window overlooking the school. She sighed as she breathed in the cool night air.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" Aiger yelled from his tent. y/n squinted her eyes and looked over to Aiger's tent.

There was a bunch of movement and the tent almost tipped over. She laughed as she heard Hae-jin's loud snores. She closed the window and went over to her bed.

"Goodnight, y/n," Naru said sleepily. y/n grinned.

"G'night, Naru," y/n said.
