2.) First Day
Maki is picked up in one of the expensive Todoroki cars. The chauffeur opens and closes the door to the car for her.
She hops in with a big grin, bouncing on the seat full of energy. "Sho! I'm so excited for our first day! This is gonna be so fun! Are you excited?"
He nods. "We're one step closer to being heroes."
"Yeah!" she cheers. "I can't wait!" She seems to vibrate in her seat. "We finally get to go to the same school together. I've always wanted to! Can't believe your dad had you home schooled with those stingy private tutors! So laame!" She wraps her arm with Shoto's and sighs as she leans on his shoulder. "I'm really happy."
"You're always happy," Shoto points out. "Except when you're battling... or you're still happy but in a threatening way..."
She giggles. "I know! But now I'm super happy!"
"I'm glad."
The rest of the ride is quiet, but a relaxed quiet.

Once the car stops in front of UA, Maki wastes no time waiting for the chauffeur to open door. She flings open the car door, looking up at the building in awe.
"This place is still a cool sight to see!" she says, spreading her arms out. "My life is so cool! Sho! Come on! Let's hurry! Come on! Come on!"
He gets out the back of the car, bringing his bag along with her own. "Here."
"Ah, my bag! Thanks, Sho!" she smiles. "Thanks for driving us!" She waves to the chauffeur who bows before getting in the car and driving off. "Alright! Let's go find our classroom!" She grabs his hand and tugs him into the school.
"You don't have to shout. I'm right here," he replies, but she doesn't take notice.
The two eventually find their class, finding two students already inside. A dark haired bluenet and a–
"MOMO!" Maki squeals, launching herself in said girl's direction.
Momo manages to catch herself along with Maki in time. "Maki? Maki! I didn't know you were coming to UA."
Maki hugs her tight. "I'm sorry! I forgot to mention it! I was recommended by my parents."
"I was also recommended," Momo says a bit surprised. "I didn't see you."
"There were a lot of people..." Maki sighs. "Plus I was distracted. My cousin was there, and I haven't seen him for a while. Sorry, if I knew I would've looked for you."
(Momo and Shoto are in the same seats as they are. Maki sits in front of Shoto. Shoji sits in Hagakure's spot in front of Bakugo. Everyone else in Shoto's row moves up one.)
"It's fine. I probably should've told you," she sighs.
Maki looks to find her assigned seat next to but diagonal from Momo. "Ah, look we get to sit together. Ah, Sho, you get to sit behind me!"
Shoto shuffles over, sitting in his spot quietly. "Yeah."
"Ah, Sho! Momo and I went to middle school together! She helped me study cause I'm so awful at it. I wouldn't of survived without her."
Shoto looks to Momo. "Thank you for helping her pass her classes."
"U-Uh, you're welcome."
"Momo this is my best friend since birth, Todoroki Shoto. Sho this is my girl friend Yaoyorozu Momo!"
"Nice to meet you."
"L-Likewise," Momo responds nervously. She inwardly smiles. Yes! I've already made two friends... Uh, one... Maybe one? He doesn't seem very willing.
Other students begin filling the room as Momo and Maki talk. It's interrupted when the dark bluenet from before starts loudly fussing with some blond boy with his feet on his desk. Then a green haired boy makes his way in, causing everyone to look at him and the brunette behind him after glasses boy exclaims something. Then the teacher arrives and makes everyone go change into their gym clothes for some test.
Maki decides to use her time in the girl's locker room to introduce herself to the girls. "Hi everyone! I'm Iwase Maki! It's nice to meet you all. I'm glad that all of us get to be classmates!"
Each girl introduces themselves to each other after Maki does, breaking out of their shyness. Maki smiles as all the girls cheerily talk to each other.
As they make their way outside and learn what they're doing, complaints start as to why they aren't going to orientation.
"Here at UA, we're not tethered to tradition. That means I get to run my class however I see fit," Aizawa says. "You've been taking standardized tests for most of your lives, but you never got to use your quirks in physical exams before. The country's still trying to pretend we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel. It's not rational. One day the Ministry of Education will learn. Bakugo, you managed to get the most points in the entrance exam. What was your farthest distance throw with a baseball when you were in junior high?"
"67 meters."
"Alright, try doing it with your quirk."
He does as told, pushing everyone back by the force he sent the ball. Everyone gasps at his big score and exclaim how fun this is gonna be.
"So this looks fun, huh?" Aizawa grunts. "You have three years here to become a hero. You think it's gonna be games and play time?" He grins. "Idiots. Today you'll compete in 8 physical tests to gauge your potential. Whoever comes in last has none and will be expelled immediately."
Then they complain about how unfair that is before Aizawa shoots them down and off they go to take the tests.
Test 1 is the 50 meter dash. Maki was the top score with .01 seconds. That shocks just about everyone which leads them to think she has some kind of speed quirk. In reality, she manipulated the air around her to not give her any wind resistance as well as making it push her forward. She won't correct them though. She finds it amusing. Second was the Iida boy. Bakugo got 4.13 seconds. The worst was some short purple ball haired dude. He got 10 seconds.
Test 2 was grip strength. Once again Maki won this with her earth half, easily breaking the machine. The second winner was the tallest dude with the many arms.
Test 3: Standing long jump. She jumped the whole sandbox with air.
Test 4: Repeated side steps. Maki won this one too, using the same technique as the 50 meter dash just closer together. The little purple dude got a close second.
Test 5: Ball throw. Uraraka got infinity as that's how her quirk works.
Maki is up next. Aizawa tosses the ball to her. She catches, stretching her arms a bit. She sinks her feet into the ground to hold herself steady then throws it, packed with as much air as she can muster. The force blows everyone to the ground.
"Holy crap!"
"What the fuck?!"
"That's insane!"
"So strong!"
Aizawa pulls himself up, picking up the phone he dropped to reveal the score to be 999,403 meters.
"999,403 meters!! That's ridiculous! I thought you had a speed quirk!"
She pulls her feet from the ground, walking back over to the group.
"That was incredible, Maki!" Momo gasps.
"Thank you, Momo!"
Maki is second so far with 999,403 meters. Everyone ends up taking it and the last up is the green haired boy. After some dramatics with Aizawa and him, he throws it for real and then more drama ensues with Bakugo. Blah blah, you know the story. Deku ends up with a broken finger.
The rest of the tests continue before the results are revealed. Maki gets first, making her jump around in joy. Deku gets last, but luckily Aizawa was kidding about the expulsion thing.
The rest of the day passes as Maki complains that they have to do stupid math and English. She thought they'd only be learning about heroing not typical school stuff, making everyone sweatdrop.

Sorry the first two chapters are short. From here on they should be a lot longer.
