Grandpa part 2
John looked over from his burger to Alison who was eating her French fries, her eyes glued to the tv.
He chuckled at her before looking back to the tv.
A few minutes passed, then Alison set her empty plate down on the table. She then crawled up beside John, laying her head against him.
John hesitantly wrapped his arm around her, as soon as he did, Alison wrapped her arms around his, holding it close.
She babbled, pointing at the tv, looking up at John. John nodded along, acting like he knew everything she was saying.
"Yep. Tell me all about it." He smiled softly.
Alison laughed.
"What's so funny, huh?" John asked her with a chuckle.
Ali giggled, taking johns hand and laying it in her lap, she opened his hand, then layer her tiny hand on top of his. She giggled again and looked up at John.
John ruffled her hair as she laid her head against his arm. She yawned and rubbed her eyes.
"Is it bedtime?" John asked her. "Hmm?"
He sighed as he looked at his watch, seeing it was 8:42. He let her stay up past her bedtime.
John set his near empty plate on the table, then picked Alison up as he stood up. She laid her head on his shoulder as he lightly bounced her in his arms.
He remembered something Dean once told him. Something like, Ali needed her bear to sleep, so he grabbed the girls teddy bear and her pacifier.
"Here you go, pickle." He held the binky out to her.
She gladly took it as he handed her the bear. He took her over to deans bed, and set her down.
Ali whined as she reached for her blanket. John looked back at it, and reached over, grabbing it.
"Alright, here." He covered her up with it.
Alison took her pacifier out of her mouth.
"Daddy?" She asked John.
"Your daddy's not here right now." He told her.
Alisons eyes started watering.
"Daddy!" She whined as she looked around for Dean.
"It's okay, Ali, calm down." John tried, but Alison started crying.
"Daddy!" She sobbed as she stood up on the bed.
"Alison, lay down." John pointed towards the bed.
Ali cried, bouncing on the bed slightly out of agitation.
"Alison, you need to go to bed." John ordered her.
She continued crying.
John then dug his phone out of his pocket, and dialed deans number, before putting it to his ear as it began ringing.
"Come on, dean, pick up." He muttered.
"Hello?"
"Alison won't listen to me, she won't lay down." John told dean. "She wants you."
Dean sighed lightly as he heard Alison crying in the background.
"Alright, put me on speakerphone." Dean told his father.
John did as told.
"Alison, baby, calm down." Deans voice rang through the phone making Alison look up.
"Daddy?" She asked through her sniffles.
"Yeah, baby, it's me. Look, I need you to be a good girl, and lay down for grandpa, okay?" Dean told her.
She sniffled and sat down on the bed.
"Shes calming down." John told his son.
"Lay down, babygirl." Dean told the girl.
Alison hesitantly laid down and rubbed her eyes as she wrapped herself in her blanket, all while grasping her teddy bear tightly, she pushed her binky back into her mouth.
"Is she laying down?" Dean asked John.
"Yeah, she's down." John spoke.
"Alright, Goodnight, babygirl. I love you." Dean told her.
Before ali knew it, she was asleep.
~~~
Ali shot up with a gasp, she frantically looked around the dark room and whined.
She cried as she slid off of the bed, teddy bear in her arms. She rushed over to johns bed and climbed up beside him, shaking him.
It took John a minute, but he shot up.
"Alison, what is it?" He frantically asked her.
He sat up, grabbing his gun from under his pillow as he looked around for anything.
"It's okay, kid, just go back to sleep." John told her once he didn't see anything.
"No! No! No!" Alison cried, shaking John.
"Okay, okay! You can sleep with me. Lay down." John sighed.
Alison sniffled, as John laid down.
"Come here, pickle." He held his hands it to her.
Alison reach out to him, John picked her up, laying her on his chest. She laid her head down, slowly, but surely calming down.
~~~
Alison giggled as she ran around the motel room, looking for somewhere to hide.
"Eight." John chuckled. "Nine."
Alison quickly crawled under the bed.
"Ten. Ready or not, here I come." John turned around, scanning over the room. "Where did she go?" He asked, as he started walking around the room.
Ali covered her mouth with her hands as she taught the urge to giggle.
"Where could she be?" John asked as he walked around the chair.
Alison let out a giggle.
John looked towards the bed. He chuckled and started towards it. He got an idea.
He climbed up onto the bed. Alison furrowed her brows slightly. She barely slid out from under the bed, she didn't see John so she got out from under the bed.
But as soon as she did, something grabbed her ankles and pulled her back under the bed, making her shriek. John pulled her out from under the bed and picked her up, spinning her around.
"I found you!" He chuckled.
Alison laughed as John spun her in circles. She laughed and screamed as John kept spinning her, tossing her up in the air, and tickling her.
He eventually stopped and fell back onto the bed, Alison sitting criss cross on his stomach.
She giggled as she reached up, playing with the stubble on johns face. John couldn't help but smile at her.
"You're not half bad, kid." He told her as he slightly tickled her sides.
Ali laughed, her nose scrunching up making johns smile widen.
"You wanna go see daddy?" John asked her.
Alison looked up at John with big puppy eyes, she made a noise as if asking if he was serious.
John chuckled and picked her up as he stood up. He grabbed the girls shoes and her jacket, then he grabbed the keys and started towards the door.
~~~
John knocked on Bobby's door as Alison bounced lightly in his arms. She knew where they were, she also knew that's where Dean was. So she was excited.
The door opened, revealing Bobby.
Ali giggled and Bobby smiled at her.
"Hey, sweet pea." Bobby chuckled.
"Tell uncle Bobby, say were here to see daddy." John chuckled.
"Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!" Ali cheered.
"Alright, well, come in." Bobby stepped off to the side, letting them come in.
John set Alison down, and she quickly rushed down the hall, looking for dean.
"Daddy?" She called out, looking in every room in the hallway.
"Here, Ali, he's in here." Bobby said, walking towards the guest room.
Alison was quick to follow him, John following behind.
"We have to be careful, he's still resting, alright?" Bobby ruffled the girls hair.
Bobby opened the bedroom door making dean look towards the door and smile as soon as he saw his daughter.
"Daddy!" Alison cheered, clapping her hands and rushing into the room.
"Hey, babygirl!" Dean chuckled at her excitement.
Alison put her hands on the side of the bed and tried pulling herself up onto it.
"Be easy, pickle." John spoke up.
Alison finally managed to pull herself up onto the bed. She smiled as she opened her arms, leaned forward and wrapping them around deans neck, and kissing his nose.
"I love you, too, babygirl." Dean kissed her cheek.
Alison smiled as she crawled down, in between deans legs and laid down, wrapping her arms around his leg, and laying her head in his lap.
Dean smiled at her and gently stroked her hair.
He looked up at the two men in the doorway.
"She's okay." He told them.
They nodded and started towards the kitchen.
"Dad." Dean spoke making John stop and turn to him. "Thank you."
"Don't mention it. She's not that bad." John gave him a small smile before turning and following after Bobby.
Dean raised his eyebrows, impressed, as he looked down at his daughter.
"What have you done to your grandpa?" He asked with a chuckle as he gently played with her hair.
"Gwampa!" Alison cheered, Giggling.
"Have you been good for grandpa?" Dean asked her.
Alison babbled as she played with deans jeans.
"I'll take that as a yes. You're always a good girl, aren't you?" Dean asked with a chuckle.
He inhaled deeply, then exhaled as he laid his head back against the pillow and closed his eyes.
The last thing he heard before falling asleep, was the sound of his daughter babbling little things to him.
