Alison tapped her shoes together as they waited in the waiting room. She was nervous.
She had to go to the dentist, and she was scared. She hated the dentist almost as much as she hated the doctor. Cas and Dean sat in the seats on each side of her. Sam stayed back to work on an upcoming case.
"Alison Winchester?"
Dean, Cas, and Alison looked up at the lady.
"Alright, come on." Dean tapped her arm as he stood up, Cas standing up with him.
"I don't wanna go." Alison told him.
"Ali, you have to." Dean stated.
"No." Alison crossed her arms.
"Alison?" The lady asked.
"Alison, you need to go in." Castiel spoke up.
"I'm not going! It's scary in there!" The little girl told them as her eyes watered.
Dean sighed, glancing at Cas who sensed fear from the girl.
"Okay, I'll make a deal with you. How about we go get pie afterwards? But only if you behave." Dean told her, raising an eyebrow at her.
Alison hesitated, but nodded. She liked that deal.
"Alright, come on." Dean picked his daughter up out of the seat.
Castiel smiled lightly at them and followed Dean into the room with the woman.
"All right, Mr. and Mr. Winchester, how are you guys doing today?" The lady asked with a smile.
Cas furrowed his brows in confusion as dean stared at the woman blankly.
"We're just friends." Dean told her. "And we're good." He nervously chuckled.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" The nurse apologized to them. "Your dentist will be with you in a few minutes." She smiled then left the room, closing the door behind her.
Alison glanced between the two men, seeing how now it was awkward. She could see why the lady thought they were together, after all, they did share a more profound bond.
Dean sat down on the seat, setting Alison on his lap, and castiel sat beside them.
"Daddy, what if they take all my teeth?" The six year old looked up at her father.
"Baby, that's not gonna happen." Dean chuckled. "Nobody's gonna take all your teeth without having to go through me first, okay?"
Alisons leaned back against deans chest as she continued to look up at him.
"Promise?" She held up her pinky to him.
"I promise." Dean linked his with hers.
Ali smiled as Dean kissed her forehead. A few minutes passed and Dean spoke up.
"Here, sit here for a minute." Dean got up and set Alison on the chair.
"Don't leave!" Alison grabbed his wrist.
"I'm going to the bathroom, do you want to come with me?" He asked sarcastically.
"Okay." Ali shrugged and got off the seat to follow him.
"You are not coming to the bathroom with me." Dean picked her up and set her back on the seat. "Cas."
Cas looked up at dean.
"Watch her." He pointed at his daughter, then left the room.
Castiel looked towards Alison who furrowed her brows.
"Are you okay, Alison? I sense you are worried." He said.
"What if daddy doesn't come back in time, and they take my teeth?" She asked him.
"Then I will protect you." Cas told her.
"Thanks, uncle Cassie." Alison smiled widely and hugged the angel.
"You're welcome, Alison." Castiel hugged her back tightly.
A few minutes later, dean came back with the dentist behind him.
"All, right, ali. This is your dentist." Dean told the girl.
Alisons eyes widened slightly as she swallowed thickly. Dean gave her a look.
"Hi." She hesitantly spoke up.
"Hi, there, I'm Mr. Hanson, but you can call me Brian." The man held his hand out to her.
Alison hesitated to shake it.
"Alright, and what's your name?" Brian asked her.
"Ali." She spoke up.
"That's a very pretty name." Brian smiled at her.
"Thank you." Alison shied into castiels side.
Brian chuckled lightly.
"Okay, if you will, go ahead and lay down." Brian told her.
Alison hesitated.
"I don't want to." Ali shook her head.
"Alison..." Dean started.
"No, it's okay. You have no idea how many scared kids come in here." Brian chuckled lightly.
"Alison, it's okay. You don't have to be scared." Castiel told the little girl.
Alison shook her head and slid off the chair, running to Cas.
"Alison, you have to cooperate." Castiel told the girl as he pulled her up into his lap.
"Actually..." Brian trailed off. "Why don't you just lay with her? If that makes her more comfortable." He suggested.
Alison looked up at Cas with hopeful eyes.
"Okay." He said.
He stood up, picking the girl. Dean couldn't help but smile as castiel laid down on the chair, and laid Alison on his chest.
"Okay, are we ready now?" Brian asked them.
Alison nodded, playing with castiels fingers. Brian smiled then got to work.
After Alison was done, as promised, dean and cas took her to get pie.
Even though Brian was nice, she still didn't like the dentist.
(I'm sorry it was short, but I hope you still liked it!)
