Tooth fairy...or angel?

Alison smiled as she ran out of the bathroom catching the three men's attention.

"Look it! Look it!" She cheered as she held her open hand out to the men.

Sam, dean and Cas looked closely, and noticed she was holding a tooth in her hand. Dean looked back up at her and she smiled, showing the gap in her mouth.

"Whoa, kiddo. Another one?" Sam asked her, she nodded eagerly.

"Well, save it for the pillow, we'll go get pie to celebrate." Dean told her with a smile.

"Okay!" Alison cheered.

"Why does Alison need to save her tooth for her pillow?" Castiel questioned confused.

Dean glanced between him and Alison, not wanting to ruin one thing for her that was normal for kids.

"Uh— well, when a kid looses a baby tooth, they stick it under their pillow, and then when they go to sleep, the tooth fairy comes and takes the tooth, and puts money under the pillow in return." Dean explained from his own knowledge of the so called tooth fairy.

"Why would a fairy want children's teeth?" Castiel asked Sam and Dean.

"Well, it's a tooth fairy, Cas." Sam said.

"Oh. I don't understand." Cas said.

Dean sighed and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I'll explain later. Let's go get that pie!" Dean smiled as he scooped Alison up.

They went out for pie, and by the time they got back, it was late and past Alisons bedtime.

"All right, kiddo, you got that tooth?" Dean asked the girl.

"Mm-Hmm! It's right here!" Alison reached over onto the bedside table and grabbed a plastic baggie with the tooth inside.

"Okay, how much do you think you'll get for it?" Dean asked her with a small smirk.

"I don't know. Last time she gave me fifteen bucks!"

(I know the tooth fairy don't give no kid fifteen bucks for a tooth, but it's dean and he ain't cheapin' out on Ali.)

"Well, how do you know it's a she?" Dean asked.

"I just know." Alison shrugged.

"Okay, bubs. Whatever you say." Dean kissed her temple making her giggle.

Dean stuffed the ziplock baggie under the pillow, and then covered alison up with the blanket.

"Goodnight, babygirl. I love you." Dean kissed her head one more time then got up with ali muttering an "I love you." back.

Later, after alison was asleep, Sam looked up as Dean got his wallet out and started towards the bed alison was sleeping in.

"What are you doing, dean?" Castiel asked quietly, trying not to disturb ali.

"Giving the girl her money." Dean stated.

"But I thought the tooth fairy did that."

"Cas, there is no tooth fairy. It's just a myth to make kids happy."

Cas tilted his head slightly.

"But why would you lie to your child?"

"I don't know Cas, probably because parents lie to make their kids happy." Dean said gently sliding his hand under the girls pillow.

"May I do it?" Castiel asked dean making him stop what he was doing, and Sam look up.

"What?" Dean asked.

"May I be the tooth fairy?" Castiel asked air quoting "Tooth Fairy."

"Uh— I guess, here." Dean said.

Dean slid his hand out from under the pillow and walked to Cas to hand him the cash.

"Is this all I have to do?" Castiel asked. "Slide the money under the pillow and take the tooth?"

"Well, unless you wanna go dressing up as a fairy—" before dean could even finish what he was saying, Cas disappeared with a flap of his wings. "Cas?"

"Where'd he go?" Sam asked confused.

Dean shrugged.

It didn't take long for Cas to come back, and when he did, dean almost spit out his beer, and Sam choked on air.

"What the hell are you wearing?" Dean asked the angel with a laugh.

"Well, you said I could dress up as a fairy, so that is what I am doing." Cas stated his business.

Castiel was wearing little kid fairy wings, a he had a little wand, along with a purple tutu.

"Cas, I was kidding!" Dean told him.

"Oh."

While Sam and Dean were having their quiet as possible laughing fit, castiel was making his way over to Alison who was still sleeping.

He reached under her pillow and she started to stir making Sam and Dean quickly shut up. Castiel pulled the ziplock baggie out.

Sam and Dean started snickering again.

Cas slid the cash under Alisons pillow and then moved away from the bed with the tooth in hand.

"I did it. Did I do good?" Castiel asked Sam and Dean.

"Yeah— you did great." Sam laughed.

"I am so glad she lost that tooth now!" Dean laughed.

"I don't understand what is funny." Castiel said.

Lets just say, dean got Cas to dress up as the tooth fairy for every next baby tooth Alison lost, just to get a good laugh out of it.
