Run away
(This is basically "Recreating" a scene from Ramona and Beezus. Don't judge me, I love that movie, and I always cry watching it.)

Alison had been trying her hardest to make everyone happy, because from her eyes, nobody really was anymore.
But it seemed that everything she did only made things worse.
Like when she tried making a pie for dean, but ended up burning it, and almost taking the motel down with it.
Or when she tried to fix Sams laptop when she dropped it, but only made it worse.
And when she tried helping with a case and research, but messed the whole thing up.
Or the time she tried to wash deans car and make him smile just the tiniest bit, but made a small scratch on it.
But today was when Sam and Dean both had enough of it.
Alison had finally thought she had done it. She thought she had down the one thing that could make both the boys smile, without messing anything up.
But apparently she was wrong.
She found some paper that had some writing on it, but she didn't think was important, so she drew a picture of herself, Sam, dean, and Castiel.
Her family.
He walked over to Sam and Dean who were talking about their case by the table, castiel hadn't been able to make it due to some "complications" upstairs.
"I drew something!" She said excitedly holding the picture behind her back.
Sam and Dean glanced up at her, Sam tilted his head slightly.
"Where's you get the paper?" He questioned her.
Alison looked over towards the pile of papers sitting on the desk.
"Over there." She said.
Dean and Sam looked at each other then back at the girl.
"Alison what did you do?" Dean asked her.
Alison pulled the picture out from behind her back and showed it to them. Their eyes widened slightly.
"Alison, that was research!" Dean told her.
Her excitement vanished, and her face fell.
"You know better then to take some random paper to draw on without permission!" Dean said as rubbed his face.
"That was hard work, Alison." Sam spoke up.
Alison looked between them.
"What is up with you lately? You've been making our lives pretty difficult." Dean said.
Alisons heart shattered.
Couldn't they see she was trying to make things better? Couldn't they see how much effort she was giving? Couldn't they see she just wanted to make them happy?
"Fine!" Alison croaked out dropping her picture on the ground.
She started towards the bed and grabbed her teddy bear, she then went to her bag and stuffed it in there.
"What are you doing?" Sam asked her.
"I'm running away." She said.
Dean scoffed.
Alison turned slightly to look at him.
"Daddy, I'm serious. I am eight years old. I think I can tell when I'm not wanted." She said and continued stuffing her stuff into her book bag.
Dean crossed his arms over his chest.
"Just curious, how long are you gonna be gone?"
Alison stopped as she thought for a second.
"Forever." She replied.
"Well." Dean stood up. "In that case, I think you might need a bigger suitcase."
Alisons face dropped a little.
Did he not even care?
Sam was too confused a little, but stayed quiet.
Alison waited while dean had gone to the bathroom, he came back a few minutes later with his own bag.
He walked over to the bed, and placed the bag on it, it was obviously heavy because the bed dipped.
Alison gripped the teddy bear that was now in her arms.
Dean unzipped the bag slightly and pulled something out of it.
"You're gonna brush your teeth every morning and night, right?" Dean asked holding up a plastic ziplock baggie full of toothpaste.
Alison hesitantly nodded.
"That's my girl." Dean said with a small smile. "I packed my jacket just in case you get cold." He held up his jacket before stuffing it into the bag.
He zipped it up and placed it on the floor.
"All right. I'll walk you out." Dean told her.
Sam looked between them, he could already see the tears forming in Alisons eyes.
Dean led the girl outside and placed his bag in front of her.
"I guess this is goodbye?" Dean asked.
"Mm-Hmm." Alison barely nodded.
"All right. I'll see you around." Dean waved her off then headed back inside to Sam.
Alison sniffled as she hesitantly grabbed the straps of her fathers bag.
She tried picking it up, but she couldn't. So she dragged it instead.
Sam and Dean watched her out of the window.
"You're not seriously gonna let her go, are you?" Sam questioned.
"Hell no, are you crazy?" Dean asked. "She's not gonna get far, don't worry."
Alison started crying as she was walking, dragging the bag behind her.
She eventually got to a bus stop, after walking for what felt like forever, but it could've been all the weight she was tagging along.
She wandered what was actually in the bag.
She pushed it over, and got down on her knees, setting her teddy bear beside her.
She unzipped the bag, and was confused by all of the unnecessary items in there.
There were quite a few big lore books in there, along with some shirts that weren't Alisons, some combat boots Ali was pretty sure belonged to Sam. Even Sams broken laptop was in there.
The one thing that really caught Alisons eye, was deans jacket.
She smiled a little as she sobbed.
She pulled the jacket out of the bag and put it on.
The bus pulled up in front of Alison and the doors opened.
Ali stood up, wrapping her arms around herself, deans jacket swallowing her whole.
"You getting on, or not?" The bus driver asked her.
Alison hesitated.
"Give me your phone." Dean told Sam as he was driving down the road.
"What, why?" Sam questioned.
"Because I stashed mine in the bag, now give it." Dean said holding his hand out.
Sam handed it over.
Dean glanced down at the phone until he found his own name in the contacts.
He put the phone to his ear.
"Come on, pick up." He muttered.
Alison then heard a very familiar, too familiar, ringtone. Deans ringtone.
It was coming from the bag below her.
She dropped to her knees, confused. She dug through the bag until she found deans phone, she opened it and saw it was Sam who was calling.
She put it to her ear.
"Sammy?" She asked.
"Think again."
"Daddy?" Alison asked.
"Yeah, baby, where are you?"
The driver nodded and closed the doors, then pulled away from the bus stop.
Just as the bus moved, Alison froze by what she saw across the street.
Alison stood up, dropping the phone into the bag. Dean parked the impala after hanging up the phone, he and Sam both quickly got out, and rushed across the street.
Dean picked his crying daughter up, and hugged her tightly.
"You made my bag heavy on purpose." Ali stated to her father.
"What was I supposed to do? I can't lose my little girl." Dean told her as he pulled her away to look at her.
"I kept messing everything up, I just wanted to make you guys happy. I thought you'd be better off without me." Alison told them.
Sam and Dean looked at each other then back at the girl.
"We are happy, Alison." Sam told her.
"Yep. You know why?" Dean asked.
"Why?" Ali asked him.
Dean reached into his back pocket and pulled a paper out.
"Because we have each other, and that's all we need." Dean said unfolding the paper, revealing Alisons drawing of their family.
Alison smiled a tiny bit, she wrapped an arm around deans neck, and held an arm out for Sam.
Sam stepped closer and they hugged.
"I'm sorry." Alison apologized.
"It's okay, we're sorry, too." Sam said.
Dean and Sam pulled away, then each kissed one of Alisons cheeks, squishing them.
Ali giggled a little.
"I love you guys." She told them.
"We love you, Ali." Sam and Dean said in unison.
