"Yes, you do! Don't you remember when I taught you how?"

(It was late summer and the unyielding heat had finally given way to some light breeze. The sun shone down warmly, baking soft pale skin. Yoongi wore a white hoodie with black jeans - the moment he stepped out of the house wearing his outfit, he had immediately regretted it. But he didn't have enough time to change since his lecture started in one hour and the train ride from his house to the university was fifty minutes. So he decided- was forced- to power through it.

Now here he was at the large field behind the school. He had finished all the lectures he had today and even went to the on-campus library to attempt to do some revision, however, it was too loud in there and he couldn't get anything done. Yoongi walked through the uncut and wild field, he had his headphones on and was listening to some of his favourite songs. It's was enjoyable and peaceful.

Passing by the large oak trees which sprouted pretty white flowers that Yoongi didn't know the name of, the boy finds himself slowing his pace down. He didn't know why. Maybe it was because the scenery was the most stunning scene he'd seen in a while or maybe it was because the song that had plagued his headphones was a slow, romantic and drawn-out solo. Either way, Yoongi leisurely strolls across the grass for no other reason than because he wanted to.

He stops when he sees a pile of scrunched up paper beneath the large branches. Furrowing his eyebrows, Yoongi wonders who put this here? Who would risk littering behind the university that claimed to have a zero-tolerance policy toward earth destroying actions? And weren't the people who came to this school a bunch of do-gooders who strove to make the environment better?

Anyway, Yoongi goes to clean up the mess because he does in fact come to this school but halts mid-action as another piece of paper bounces off his head and lands in the pile. "...what the fuck..." Looking up, the black-haired boy sees two legs dangling down from above. Stepping back, he finds that he recognizes that unruly blonde disaster that looked like it had been styled once upon a time.

His first instinct was to call out to Jimin. But at the same time, Yoongi had an idea that he immediately decided was more fun - therefore, the only correct option. Walking around until he is face to face with the back of the tree, Yoongi begins to climb up.

The branch he's aiming to reach isn't that far off the ground and as his hands grip the bark, the black-haired boy finds himself falling into a familiar rhythm. He and Jimin would always race to see who could climb trees the fastest back when they were younger. (Jimin would always win but Yoongi was a close second.)

Yoongi is honestly surprised that Jimin doesn't hear him as he carefully places himself on the same branch but belatedly realizes that the blonde is also listening to music. "Hey." He says, monotone. Jimin flinches at the unexpected presence, his choppy action creates unfairness in his weight distribution and he loses his balance, almost falling off the tree. His earphones fall out of his ears but don't fall to the ground like he is about to as they are still connected to the phone in Jimins pocket. Before he can fully leave the thick branch, though, Yoongi grabs onto his arm and pulls him back up.

"You asshole!" The blonde shrieks, hitting the elder on his shoulder. "Hey, I can still push you off." Yoongi teases. "Don't you dare." "Wouldn't dream of it, Petal." Jimin sighs angrily, then he looks back down to the notepad in his lap. Yoongi cocks his head to the side "Why are you littering?" He asks. The younger looks surprised like he hadn't expected that question. "..was gonna pick it up later..." He mumbles.

"Okay... What are you doing up here?" Jimin glances at him "Aish, what's with all the questions today? If you must know," He holds up the notepad, displaying many different sketches of many different flowers. One flower seems to be repeated again and again and it seemed as though all the papers that were on the floor only contained those flowers. "I'm trying to draw every new flower I discover. I just saw these tiger lilies in my aunt's garden and they're stunning in real life. But for some reason, I just can't get it..." He pouts in frustration.

"Sounds tough." Yoongi can only say, tearing his gaze from the sketches to look at the distance in front of them. From here, the black-haired man has a clear view of the school which is framed by trees, not unlike the one he is sitting on right now. "It is!" Jimin whines.

Yoongi looks back to Jimin. He was still trying to draw the so-called beautiful flower but gave up every time, scribbling over his previous drawings. "... Explain it to me." "What?" "Explain to me how you draw a tiger lily. Maybe if you say it out loud, it'll make more sense.")

"No."

Jimin scoffs "Then let me show you again. Can I have a pencil, please?" Yoongi regards him with a look as if he wants to say no but is hiding it behind fake contemplation. ".. Fine." He says anyway. The elder reaches for his black backpack which Jimin had seemed to miss and pulls out a small pencil case, from that he retrieves a small metallic mechanical pencil and hands it to the younger.

The pinkette handles the tool with care as he leans over to get to the sketchbook on Yoongis lap - which had been quickly flipped to a blank page - and begins putting down the first couple lines. He feels the black-haired man's intense gaze on him but doesn't shy away from it as he begins to explain.

"Hibiscus petals are very pretty, they translate better in colour but look good in black and white regardless." Jimin had never been the artistic type, at least not to the degree that Yoongi was. However, his chicken scratchy sketches always looked pretty when any sort of flower was his muse. His hands are sort of shaky (from the alcohol, no doubt) but he manages to get something decent out onto the page. He's proud of himself, especially since he hadn't used a reference.

When he looks up at Yoongi, he finds that the boy's face is extremely close. It makes him want to pull away but the elder's eyes are glued to the drawing and it seemed as though he hadn't even taken notice to their close proximity. That or he didn't care.

("You have a crush on Jimin instead, then!")

This time, Jimin really does pull away. He knows that Hanjoon was definitely way off the mark, but the thought of her words holding truth made his face feel all hot for some untold reason. Yoongis mouth is moving and Jimin belatedly realizes that he had completely missed whatever it is that was said.

".. Huh?" Yoongi sighs. "I said, how big or small can the petals be?" "O-oh... Uhm well, it depends on how much water the plant has gotten, what climate it was grown in and similar things. It doesn't really matter for a tattoo so you can make the petals as big or small as you please."

Jimins shocked Yoongi is actually on board, he was half convinced the elder was going to shove him out the door when he first mentioned adding a flower, but now he was even asking questions like he was taking this seriously. And Jimins even more shocked when Yoongi smiles a closed-mouth grin.

"Thanks for the help, Petal."
