After announcing to the entire world that I was pregnant and had to step away from the company for a while to focus on motherhood, I stayed with Roman's family back in Pensacola while he continued to wrestle and defend his championship. Shane thankfully gave him a couple of weeks to be there for me.

"Thank you for allowing me to stay with you, Mr. and Mrs. Anoa'i."

"It's our pleasure, Ashley." His mother smiled. "We don't want you to be alone on this pregnancy since our son has to return to the ring soon. We're more than happy to oblige and help you throughout this time."

"I really appreciate this."

"It's no problem. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to call for us." Sika added.

I looked up at the both of them while sitting on the bed and nodded.

Upon waiting for Roman to return back home from shopping, I heard his bedroom door beginning to open and he arrived with a few bags in his hands.

"Hey babe! I bought some things for you and for the baby."

He shown me the cutest clothes that would be perfect for our child. I couldn't wait to find out if it was a boy or a girl. He also brought me a beautiful bouquet of roses, chocolates, and some very comfortable clothing for me throughout this pregnancy.

One month later

Roman had to travel back with everyone else a couple of weeks ago to defend his title and to also provide for the family. Shane checked up on me all the time along with Dean, Renee, Dolph, Eva, Nikki, Brie, and Sasha. Especially Eva. It was getting closer to where I had to visit the OB-GYN with Roman for the very first time and I was extremely excited, but rather nervous.

A few weeks later, Roman was able to come back and check on me throughout his small breaks from the company. But today, we finally visited the OB-GYN for the first time. 

When we made our way inside, they called for the both of us to come into the room right away and they took my ultrasound. From there, they checked for the baby's heartbeat through my stomach and then applied a coldish cream onto my stomach. Soon, we could see our child on the screen.

I watched as Roman's eyes began to water from emotion after seeing a small embryo on the monitor. I was about nine weeks pregnant.

"I can't believe that's our child, Ashley." He sniffled.

"Me too. I cannot wait to find out the gender when I'm further into the pregnancy."

"When you're about fourteen weeks pregnant, we can check the baby's gender." The doctor said.

His hand intertwined with mine as we glanced over at the monitor of our child. This was surreal; but an amazing, emotional feeling for the both of us.

Roman
Seeing our child on the monitor brought tears into my eyes. I remember during Ashley's coma that I was yearning to have a child with her when the time was right, even back before her months coma. I didn't expect us to have a child so soon; but I was happy nonetheless. I was going to finally become a father to my first child and knowing that my child was going to have an amazing mother.

After our visit from the OB-GYN, we made our way back to my house and it was going to be a few more weeks until the gender of our child was revealed. Excited, I gently hugged Ashley into my embrace and pressed my lips against hers.

"How are you feeling?" I asked.

"Pretty good. I'm just really nervous and excited at the same time about the gender of our child."

We both sat down on the couch together and took in this moment in pure silence.

"What do you hope the gender will be?" I asked, breaking the silence.

"I don't really mind the gender." Ashley smiled. "Boy or girl, I'll be happy either way."

"Me too. I know I'll be on the road while you're at my house, but I can reassure you that my family will take very good care of you throughout this pregnancy. If something were to happen, you know my parents would immediately call me and Shane."

"I'm just glad that I can finally be happy for once in my life. The authority no longer being a thing; along with Seth, Hunter and Stephanie in prison while Shane took full control over the company. It's just nothing but a huge miracle for us." She took a deep breath and let it out slowly and began to smile. "Now, the both of us can create the life that we've always wanted."

"I promise that everything's going to be okay with us, Ashley."

While we put a movie on the television, I couldn't help but to remain silent and went into deep thought about how surreal this was for Ashley and I. To be honest, I didn't think we'd start a family so soon, but it was an amazing feeling. Smiling at the thought of me becoming a father within a matter of months. I vowed to Ashley that I would always stay with her throughout the ups and downs.

I couldn't wait to see where this beautiful journey would take us. We were happily married and waiting to meet our child many months later. The life we always dreamt of has finally come true and I couldn't be anymore happier.
