It's been a long few weeks ever since Seth invaded our hotel room and traumatized Ashley once again. Lately, she's been going back and forth to therapy in hopes of her overcoming this trauma. Ashley and I have also been speaking with our wedding planner, Sarah, and everything has been going out well for the both of us ever since Seth went back to prison. We also received our restraining order against him and he's unable to escape prison.

We've been hanging out with our friends for awhile, and it's been helping Ashley cope a lot ever since the incident happened. We had to come back to the arena for Monday Night Raw and I've been defending my title right and left from the other wrestlers. It felt good giving everyone opportunities in the back. I've also helped Ashley train inside of the ring back at the Performance Center so she could learn how to wrestle once again.

Ashley had tons of ring-rust, but she was slowly getting back to her normal self when it came to wrestling. The only McMahon that wasn't any trouble happened to be Shane and he helped her strive to return to the ring in a matter of months, along with the help of our friends and I. Also, Hunter and Stephanie in the process were caught in the process after storming away from the hotel and they were sent to prison along with Seth. This meant that Ashley was finally able to restart her in-ring career once again.

One month later

Ashley and I were training for her to return to the ring. Ever since her coma happened, she forgot how to wrestle a little and we helped her get back into shape and to prepare for the ring. She was more than ready to compete for the first time in almost two-years.

Monday Night Raw

Ashley made her entrance as the surprise entrant in a gauntlet match to face Charlotte Flair for the title at SummerSlam. Everyone in the entire arena erupted in cheers the moment they seen her running down the ramp to wrestle everyone.

"Oh my god! What the hell? It's Ashley!" Michael Cole said on commentary.

Ashley came in and destroyed all the women in her path and was competing for the Raw Women's Championship, winning the gauntlet match. After she got the pinfall on Sasha Banks, one of her closest friends, she was coming for Charlotte Flair. The woman in which caused her coma along with Seth Rollins.

Ashley then picked up the microphone and looked into the camera.

"Charlotte, just know that I am coming for that Raw Women's title, bitch. That title is coming home to me and back where it finally belongs!"

Ashley dropped the microphone and went backstage to greet me with a smile on her face. Emotional, she began to shed a tear at the thought of her returning to the ring and receiving a title opportunity in the same night.

"This feel so surreal. I'm actually wrestling again and I'm finally taking back what is mine from that bitch!"

"Indeed you are. I'm so proud of you, Ashley." I said.

"I just knew that you were going to be back inside of that ring. I'm proud of you, Kiddo!" Dolph swooped in and hugged me into his embrace.

SummerSlam 2016

Ashley made her way to the gorilla and was nervous about having to face the one woman who caused her to lose her memory for a month; and the one who tried to break-up our relationship. Nervous, she looked at me standing behind her and I wrapped my arms around her.

"Babe, you're going to be alright. You are taking back that title and you're going to have an amazing career from now on. Charlotte won't be bothering us anymore after you kick her ass."

"Thank you, Roman."

"Ashley Kay to the gorilla!"

"It's time for me to claim back my title!"

Ashley made her way into the ring with the entire crowd behind her with cheers surrounding the entire arena. She entered the ropes and when the bell rung, she tackled down Charlotte and threw punches right and left. Lastly, she took down Charlotte with a thunderous Spear and then it finally happened.

"One. Two. Three!"

The crowd let out this very uproarious cheer as the referee handed her the title.

"And the new Raw Women's Champion, Ashley Kay!"

At that very moment, she looked down at the title that she once held before her coma and she couldn't help but to shed tears of joy while holding the title in her hands. Ashley couldn't believe her eyes as the glanced down at her newly won title and held it close to her.

I couldn't believe it. I was once again the Raw Women's Champion. I've waited forever to return to the ring and claim back what was rightfully mine before Charlotte and Seth threw me into that coma. I finally got the revenge that I've yearned to do ever since awakening from my coma and regaining my memory back.

I picked up the microphone with joyful tears streaming down my face with a smile. "I just wanted to thank everyone here in the WWE Universe for supporting me throughout my injury regarding the coma I went through; not just that, but I also want to thank my fiancé; and all of the amazing friends that I've made in this business. It's been a really hectic journey but I'm back and better than ever, baby!"

After making my speech from winning the title, I went backstage and was greeted by everyone for my huge win with hugs and a lot of celebrations; especially with Kofi, Xavier Woods, and Big E who cheered me on from the beginning of my match to the ending.

"You deserve it, Ashley. I'm so proud of you for everything you've done." Roman leaned in and kissed me while pulling me into an intimate hug in front of our friends with the biggest smile on his face.

This was truly the best night of my life.
