I waited for Ambrose to leave our room and I approached her quietly while she was finishing the movie and wrapped up in her white-fleeced blanket on the bed.

"Hey baby?" I said with a smile on my face.

"What's up?" She said.

"I was thinking of taking you out to dinner soon. Would you like that?"

"I'd love that!"

"We're supposed to head out pretty soon because there's this special place I wanna take you to." I smiled. "It's a bit of a drive if you're up to the task."

"That's okay with me!"

"Alright, get dressed."

Ashley sat up from the bed and walked to the bathroom and took a shower. I patiently waited until she was finished. When she left the bathroom, I seen her wear the most beautiful outfit I've ever seen. A cream-colored silky top with the same colored shorts with her hair pulled into a ponytail.

"You're absolutely gorgeous!" I said, stunned.

"Thank you. I knew you'd love the outfit."

"Are you ready for the ride? I'll drive us to this special place that I have planned out and luckily for you," I chuckled, "Well, you'll know when we get there."

Ashley and I packed our luggage and threw it in the back of my black Range Rover, then we drove back to the restaurant that was on Cherry Street.

Making our way to the restaurant that was just a few hours away from the hotel we were staying at, we finally made it. This was the first place where Ashley and I went with Ambrose to celebrate her in-ring debut and it was momental for the both of us.

"We're here."

"Wow! It looks so beautiful!"

"Let's get the both of us inside and order our dinner for tonight." I said.

"Excuse me sir, a private reservation for two?"

"Right this way."

I escorted Ashley and we both sat down in the most beautiful scenery this restaurant had to offer that was higher up. Mind you, these were the same exact seats that we had on the same night I first brought Ashley. The night we met in which had a beautiful view.

"Here you go, baby."

She sat down and scanned around the restaurant in awe.

"Comfortable?" I asked.

"Yes, thank you."

We ordered our dinner and patiently waited for the waiter to bring us our food. I seen Ashley scanning around the room once more and her eyes began to widen.

"Oh my gosh, Roman!"

"What's up?"

"Have I been here before?" She asked.

My eyes widened after hearing those words. It's like she remembered the place right off the bat, and it felt like Ambrose's idea was working.

"Yes baby, we've been here before."

"When?"

I chuckled, "When you first made your in-ring debut. Ambrose and I took you out to this same restaurant where we celebrated your first match."

"To be honest with you, Roman, it's starting to become a little more clear to me!"

"I'm glad." I cleared my throat. "I brought you here for a reason."

"You did? Why?"

"Because I wanted to see if you remembered this place. It's like you're slowly getting your memory back." I said.

"It does look awfully familiar. I know I'm struggling when it comes to remembering things, but I had a feeling that we were here before."

The waiter finally arrived and handed us our small course meal. It brought the biggest smile to my face to hear that her memory was coming back a little more clearer when it came to this restaurant.

"I hope that my memory comes back. I hate that I'm still vulnerable because of that coma I was in."

"Think about this, Ashley." I smiled. "Seth will most likely be locked up in prison for what he did, and he won't be allowed anywhere near you anymore."

"Are you sure that he won't bother me anymore?"

I brought her hands into mine and looked into her eyes. "I'm positive. We can even get a restraining order against him so he can't get anywhere near you. I should've done that right from the beginning, but I didn't think of that."

"I'd love that. I just want this nightmare to be over with."

"It'll be over with very soon. The authority will also crumble without Seth if he's put in prison."

She paused, "Roman? Tell me something."

"What's up, babe?"

"Why is the authority targeting you and I?"

I sighed. "It's a long story, but they've been on my ass before we met a year ago. I was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the time and I was feuding with Sheamus. He done everything in his power to take my championship away and sadly he did when he got the pinfall on me. I know I'll win back what's rightfully mine in the future."

"I'm so sorry."

"I believe I know why they're targeting you." I said.

"Please explain."

"They've never liked the thought of us being a couple, Ashley. Like I said, they've been targeting me before you and I believe it's because of Seth's jealousy towards us being a couple. Even before they started trying to break us apart, they also broken up The Shield almost two years ago so he could join the authority with them. I believe they've been trying to break us apart so you could get with Seth. And tried to manipulate you when you first woke up from your one month coma. It disgusts me because they to trick you into thinking you were Seth's girlfriend. It's disgusting."

"I'm so sorry that he's like this along with the authority."

"Don't apologize." I said, furrowing my eyebrows. "But the way he tormented you was the last straw."

"I'm just thankful that you and Dean stayed by my side through everything for the past year that I've known you two."

"We aren't going anywhere, babe." I said, planting a kiss on her forehead. "That's a promise that I swear to keep until I take my last breath."

Finishing our conversation and our meal, I paid the waiter and made our way to the nearest hotel for the night.

One hour later

We arrived to the hotel that Ashley and I first stayed at when we first met. It was a huge stroll down memory lane and seeing Ashley taking notice to the smallest details brought a smile to my face. Part of me was believing that she was slowly remembering the past between her and I.

I couldn't be anymore happier.
