It was finally a few days later after bringing Ashley and Loto home from the hospital, and everything was perfect at this point. I allowed Ashley to relax while I took care of everything for at least a week, just to make sure she gained her strength back. I decided on cooking dinner, cleaning up around the house, and I was so happy to lend a helping hand to her until she felt better. I couldn't imagine how painful birth was, if anything.

As the night went on, Ashley was asleep next to me in our bed, and Loto was asleep in his crib. I began to reminisce the moment I first met my wife and how everything started whilst staring up at the ceiling with the warmest smile on my face.

I remember it started back a couple of years ago when Ashley was making her in-debut one night against Becky Lynch. She was nervous to be competing around hundreds of fans. I took her by surprise and reassured the best I could while introducing myself in the process. After the show ended, Ambrose and I took her out to dinner to celebrate her in-ring debut and that's how it all began between us.

The authority, on the other hand, thought they could successfully tear us apart; but luckily for them, it just brought the bond between us closer than ever. When it comes to Seth, I'll never forgive him for everything he's done to her, but knowing he's in prison takes a huge weight off my shoulders. I will never allow that bastard, or the authority, to come between us and our son.

That one day when she was in a months coma due to Seth and Charlotte, I remember sacrificing so much when it came to the lack of sleep, lack of eating, and drinking just to make sure she was okay every second of every day until the moment she opened her eyes. I was mentally drained, emotionally breaking down right from left around my friends and family for the very first time. That coma Ashley endured shown everyone that I loved this woman deeply. When she woke up and struggled to remember after losing her memory, I'm glad that I was able to help her slowly pick up the pieces and regain her memory back.

As for me? I'm the most blessed man in the world. I have a beautiful wife, I have a son that could someday follow in my footsteps and to carry on in my legacy whether it was in the WWE or the NFL. I'm thankful that I have the most caring friends in our workplace, and a wonderful family.

We went through so much obstacles together just to get to this point in our lives. The struggles we faced for a couple of years brought us to this very moment; and regardless of the authority doing their damndest to ruin the love that Ashley and I shared together, they just made our bond more inseparable.

Throughout our hardships on this journey with her, my friends and family, I couldn't be anymore happier for what's next to come between Ashley and I.

I leaned down after seeing my wife asleep next to me in our California King bed and pressed my lips against her forehead before drifting off to sleep.

Authority was never capable of overcoming love. And from there, Ashley and I were living the lives that we always dreamt of, and we were forever grateful.

Only time will tell.
