The cold dark moonlight erupted through the room as I groggily looked around. I yawned as my dry throat burned at the air before I tiredly yet aware I must be quiet. I climbed down the latter looking at a sleeping Ben on the bottom bunk. I tiredly blink before turning around. I see three empty beds. I look at it confused before heading into the kitchen where a golden light glowed. I walk in silently as I see Kenji and Darius quietly arguing not noticing I walked in. Brooklynn was also standing there speaking to them before pausing when I came in.

" What the hell are you guys doing.....?" I ask in a soft tired voice.

Kenji and Darius jumps at the sudden noise and turn their heads to me.

" Nothing I was just grabbing a glass of water!" Darius says nervously.

" If your grabbing a glass of water I'm assuming you just got up so why are all three of you guys wearing normal clothes and not pajamas?" I ask tiredly

" Nahh I just sleep in these they're rich people pajamas you wouldn't get it." Kenji said.

" So rich people sleep in jeans?" I ask unimpressed and seeing through their lie

They all nod sweating nervously.

" Okay I'm tired as hell I'm not about to deal with this." I say before walking to one of the water dispensers and filling a cup of water and downing it.

They sigh in relief before I head off to bed not caring anymore. I climb the ladder to my bed and crash onto it tiredly and falling asleep.

" Ewww........" I say plugging my nose to shield it from the horrid smell. It front of us was a colossal of what can be assumed dinosaur shit. Yes you heard me. Not prehistoric fossil fresh dinosaur shit stinking up my nostrils. Ben gags covering his mouth breaking the silence.

" 'Ew' is correct Y/n this is what happens when you leave after curfew." Roxie says obviously pissed, " Enjoy cleaning this up boys." Roxie says before tossing some shovels to Darius and Kenji.

" We're going to the genetics lab. " She finishes coldly before walking away and heads into the car.

Dave tosses Darius a bottle of something... He looks at the deep turquoise bottle with the label ' Jean Paul Gaultier'

" Colonge." He says noticing his confusion, " That'll help with the smell and the ladies! Or guys if your into that.

But mostly the stench. Dinosaur poo can really linger." He finishes setting his arm on the trunk kicking his hip out before he hops into the car. I snap onto my seat belt before we speed off.

I yawn tiredly as Brooklynn scoffs, " Ughh..... I'm still dropping followers..." She reads a comment, " ' When are we going to see cool stuff?' Chill I just got here." She grumbled shutting off her phone.

" Sooo! When's your next video?" Sammy asks, " Ooh, maybe there's dino eggs! You can make a baby dino video. Everyone loves a baby video." She says enthusiastically.

Her face lights up with ideas before calming herself down, " Whatever it is it better be cool..." She huffs.

I turn my head to her, " Cmon its a dino lab. Everything in their is probably coolio." I say trying to lift her mood. I turn my head to Ben who was humming a long of some sort while lathering hand sanitizer like lotion leaving a pearly finish on his arms.

" What are you doing?" I ask slightly weirded out.

" I'm just keeping myself clean. You never know what kind of creepy dino goo is at the lab." He defends.

" Ben I don't think they're going to let you touch 'dino goo'." I say

" Just in case you gotta be ready for anything! The world is a grab-bag of gross and we're all along the moist, sticky roller coaster ride called life.' He says before rubbing more of the bottle onto his pale leg using it like lotion.

" Thats....... rad........." I say uncomfortable, " It would really suck if you had a cut on your leg that would burn so badly...." I say as Yasmina decides to take some of the sanitizer as he rubs some of the sanitizer onto his neck groaning a bit. I look at him weirded out a ton before looking over and Brooklynn who was starting up a new video.

We get out of the car and start walking into the lab.

" What's good Brooklanders! Today I'm coming to you from the Jurassic world's coolest remote genetics lab!" She says.

As we step inside the bright pristine walls and light glows.

" Whoaa! Its so shiny in here!" Sammy exclaims in awe.

" My eyes are blinded." I say nonchalant.

"This is a rare window into the park's inner workings. Not just anyone can come here, you know." Says Roxie acting like a narrator.

'Yep, this is where the magic happens. Doc Wu-Wu! Guess who's ready to have a blastocyst from the pastocyst? The mitosis with the mosisis! We're ready for some chromosomes, my bro-mosome. Wu, there it is! I can do more." Dave exclaims trying to be friendly with a man wearing a white lab coat with a black come over.

"Please don't. We're here for the tour, Dr. Wu. Camp Cretaceous?" Roxie reminds him.

"Ms. Dearing should have mentioned. I'm sorry, but Mr. Masrani has accelerated the timetable for our newest exhibit yet again. I simply don't have time to spend the afternoon babysitting children. Young lady, no recording in the lab." Dr. Wu says scolding Brooklynn at the end.

"Huh? But that's kind of my whole deal. You see, I have my own web channel--" Brooklyn argues trying to do her own thing and create her content to please content hungry fans.

"And that's germane because...?" He says annoyed turning his back away.

"I'm sorry, Doctor. I just wanted my followers to meet the genius who brought dinosaurs back to life. I mean, without you, there is no Jurassic World. But, hey, if you wanna toil in the shadows while Masrani and John Hammond get all the credit, I respect that. It's about the work. " Brooklynn says masking her smartness and manipulating the situation.

His face changes for a second before going back to a calm reserved expression.

"How many people watch this web show of yours?" He asks as Brooklynn smiles slyly knowing her plan had worked.

" So Ben. Where's that supposed dino goo?" I ask with a fox like grin.

Huffing he retorts., " Somewhere you always have to be prepared."

I chuckle softly, " You're funny. Y'know that?" I ask patting his back in a friendly manner.

He looks a little surprised before smiling, " Really?" he probed wanting to know If I was being serious.

" No not after that." I say sarcastically just to mess with him. He frowns before sighing,

" I hope you get sprayed someway or somehow with dino goo." He asserted.

" Yeah, yeah.... You'll let me borrow some sanitizer from your collection?" I remarked referencing when he mentioned his 'collection'

He snickers, " Maybe you might just have to get lucky." He answers before we turn our attention to Brooklynn who started to record Dr. Wu to make a document...?

"Okay, Dr. Wu, you're on." Brooklynn whispers so the camera doesn't pick up the noise.

He clears throat "Hello, I'm Dr. Henry Wu, PhD. Welcome to one of our satellite Jurassic World genetics labs. I like to say that creating a dinosaur takes TIME-- T, technology; I, ingenuity; and M-E, me." saying with a tinge of arrogance in his voice

"Whoa! Eyeball! Ooh! Sammy exclaims

Dr. Wu, what's that?" Sammy asks excitedly

"Tree frog DNA. Unfortunately, I--" He tries to explain

She gasps excitedly "What's that?" blurts out

"Siberian mammoth remains extracted for--" He says attempting to answer as fast as she asks.

"Ooh! What's down that hall?" She interrupts.

"My private office. It's restricted" He says coldly

CRRRKKKKKKK!!!!!

"You guys, look! Oh, I think one of these eggs is about to hatch." Dave says peering closer as the others gather around

"That's not possible. That ankylosaurs has only been incubating for ten weeks." He says hushed to one of the other workers.

Yasmina gasps mumbling, "Is that a tail?"

"Oh-hh. Oh, ew, ew, ew!" Ben exclaims as the egg begins to hatch squirting dino goo on him "Get it off me! Get it--" The dino rolls and almost falls of the machine before I gently grab in setting it back onto the machine as Ben takes the top of the broken egg shells off of its head reveling a grey blue head with big beady black eyes and two small white horns.

Ben chuckles softly smiling ignoring how ' gross' this would be to him.

" Awhhhhh its so cute!" I exclaim with a grin.

"Aw!" Ben coos trilling to the small dinosaur.

"Sweet! One of its head bumps is bigger than the other!" Brooklynn exclaims recording and taking pictured of the small palm sized dinosaur.

"Asymmetry? In my lab?" Wu askes pushing me and Brooklynn away to get a look at the dino.

"Aw! Wow. She's so... tiny." Ben remarks entranced by the baby dinosaur.

"But she won't stay tiny for long, right?" Roxie inquires.

"That's the idea. All the dinosaurs go through an accelerated growth cycle. They're supposed to incubate for 13 weeks with no noticeable defects, but apparently this one slipped through." Wu explains obviously confused about the spectacle.

" She's so cute!!!!" I gush looking at the tiny ankylosaurs.

" I know! I could just slip her into my pocket!" Ben remarks getting a judgy stare from Dr. Wu, " Not like I would do something like that though. " he says quickly nervously.

" Can I hold her?" I ask with a hopeful grin. He turns happily.

" O-oh sure!" he says gently handing the small dinosaur into my hands. I hold her with care giggling

" She's so small!!!" I squeal with a stars eyes.

Ben grins softly as he watches me hold the small dinosaur gently almost mother like. I stare at the dinosaurs with a loving gaze like a proud mother.

" What are you going to name her?" I ask turning my gaze to Ben as he breaks out of some trance.

" Huh? Oh..... Bumpy.. Yeah Bumpy! Her name is Bumpy!" He says unsure and the beginning

" Awwwhh that's an adorable name. " I reply as Roxie comes up to us.

"Well, that's it, Ben and Y/n. Looks like you live here now." She says with a laugh.

I laugh. As Dr. Wu comes closer to us dragging a certain pink haired girl by the arm.

"Time for you all to leave." He says pushing her towards us.

I give her a curious stare as he looks at us with an angry expression.

"Hey!" Brooklynn yelped as she was thrown like a ragdoll.

"Clearly, this group has no respect for my lab." Dr. Wu says coldly the only warmth in his tone coming from what can be assumed an endless pit of fiery anger.

"But what about Bumpy?" Ben pleads as he gazes somberly at Dr. Wu

"Aw, Bumpy! You gave it a name. That's precious!" Dave gushes gripping Bens shoulders with his hands.

"The asset will soon be released into a herd of ankylosauruses. Then she'll be their problem, just like you all will cease to be my problem when you leave." Wu replies angerily.

I try to say something but was interjected by Dave.

"All right, bup-bup-bup-bup-bup! Hit the road. We are not wanted here." he says pushing me and Ben to the exit as the rest of them follow. Ben turns his head to snatch on last glance at Bumpy as it squeals and roars. He furrows his brows sadly before we leave.

I sigh bummed out as we walk to the jeep.

" Man what a bummer......" I say quietly as I buckle myself into the seat. Brooklynn sits far from us with a pissed expression. Yasmina sits near her giving Brooklynn a nasty glare and Sammy sits next to Brooklynn.

Roxie and Dave get into the car before starting up and driving away. The outside seating is quiet as everyone except me and Sammy seem annoyed or at the least upset.

" Soooo..... That dinosaur birth was really coolio... Darius would've liked it..." I start slowly and awkwardly.

" Mhmm. If only Brooklynn hadn't gotten us kicked out." Yasmina says bitterly looking to the side.

" I didn't do anything! Its not my fault Dr. Wu has such a large stick up his ass!" Brooklynn defends angrily really just exploding. She covers her mouth realizing what she said before calming and looking to the side embarrassed.

" Yowzah...." I mumble under my breath.

Yasmina scoffs angrily before crossing her arms and legs looking to the side.

" So..... You guys ever had shawarma before?" I ask awkwardly sweating somewhat nervously.

" shut it!" Brooklynn snaps before looking off to the side once more.

I look tot he side uncomfortable muttering out a " Sorry...." We drive down a path in silence as the warm sun goes down emitting a golden sun shine on our skin. The car comes to a halt as Roxie rolls down her window.,

"Hey, guys." Brooklynn says more calm this time around.

HUFF HUFF HUFF

They pant tiredly.

"Why are you two so out of breath?" Roxie questions.

"Just doing the job we're told." Darius swiftly says as his speech escapes through gasps.

"How was the field trip?" He asks "

"Oh, well, um, you know, Ben and Y/n basically adopted a dinosaur, and Super Star here got us booted from the lab." Yasmina says flatly

"That is not what happen--" Brooklynn tries to interject.

"How'd poop patrol go?" Sammy asks enthusiatically.

"Uh... Awesome! You all should've seen how I owned--" Kenji says before being hurridley shushed and interrupted by Darius.

"This valuable experience! Um, learned a lot about ourselves and, uh... yep!" Darius exclaims nervously.

Roxie sniffs the air "Oh! Well, then, hit the showers. And maybe stay in there for a while?" She says before rolling up her window

" Yeah you guys smell like ass." I say curtly.

"Use soap. Lots of soap!" Ben exclaims plugging his nose before we drive off.
