"Gobber did you see that?" I ask.

"Yes. He's gotten stronger these couple of years." Gobber says.

"Yes and no. Did you see the look in his eyes?" I stand up.

"What do you mean?" Gobber asks.

"He had this look in his eyes. He looked... I don't know Gobber, but that boy wasn't Hiccup." I say.

I look down. He was angry. He was strong. He wasn't that sweet little boy. He used to be a kindred spirit. What is he not telling me? What has happened these past ten years? I haven't seen anger like that in a while. I bite my lip.

"He has changed." A voice says.

We turn. The witch comes in.

"How did you get in? The doors were locked." Gobber says.

"I'm a witch. I have magic." She flicks her hand and fire shoots out.

"Ghay!" Gobber ducks.

"Ten years of battle. Ten years of only violence has hardened him, corrupted him." She says.

"Why?" I ask.

"Why? Is that really an honorable question?" She cocks her head.

"What do ya mean?" Gobber asks.

"Ten years of Hell just think about that." She turns.

I look down.

"That... that was oddly disturbing." Gobber scratches his head.
