Cole looked at (Y/n) as she got up.

She turned her face towards the ninja, and their eyes widened in shock.

Her eyes were as dark as an abyss, the whites of her eyes no longer seen, except for small pinpricks of light.

''What did you do to her?!'' Cole asked Chamille.

''Oh, nothing,'' Chamille replied, smirking.

''You've done something to her.'' Zane pointed out.

''What would you know, nindroid?!'' Chamille retorted, raising her boot and crushing a broken piece of the teapot.

''Okay, first of all, he's a nindroid, he knows more than us. Second of all, I've been standing in this rain for too long and I want to be dry! So leave our friend alone!'' Jay shouted, grabbing his nunchucks.

The others took out their weapons and were ready to fight.

''Oh, how I love unfair fights,'' Chamille replied. ''Go on, (Y/n).''

Black smoke covered (Y/n), and when it disappeared, (Y/n) in her Oni form stood in her place.

''We can't fight her! We'll hurt her!'' Cole said eyes widened.

''She'll destroy us first if we don't stop her...!'' Kai replied.

''I recommend going for her pressure points. Once you press hard enough on at least one of them you'll knock her out.'' Zane advised them.

''Or I could shock her,'' Jay said, swinging his nunchucks.

While they talked, (Y/n) ran forward, holding her Kusari-Fundo in her hand. Lloyd saw her coming and called to them barely in time, and before they could recover she went to attack Kai, who held up his sword to block her attack.

She then attempted to sweep him off his feet, ending in knocking him to the ground. Before she could attack the Master of Fire, her strike was deflected from a hit from Cole's Scythe, knocking her weapon out of her hand.

Cole looked at her, pleading. ''Please stop, (Y/n), for us?''

(Y/n) didn't respond, and she ducked under his scythe and kicked him in the back. Cole stopped himself before he could fall, and turned to face her. Gritting his teeth, he brought the Scythe of Quakes into the ground, before seeing nothing happen.

''What?!'' Cole exclaimed, surprised. ''The Scythe's not working!''

''I think it has a cooldown, Cole!'' Jay answered.

Cole dodged another attack by (Y/n), her fist missing his face. He then grabbed her arm and held her other fist. She growled and headbutted him in the face.

He was knocked to the ground, and the Scythe of Quakes fell and hit the ground with a clank.

(Y/n) towered over him, and summoned a sword. As she was about to strike him, out of nowhere, Remo appeared on her leg, tightly curled around it.

She looked down at the little snake, trying to shake him off. Remo held on and bit her leg. She screeched in pain, grabbing him and pulling him off her leg. She tossed him aside and turned to Cole once more.

Remo hit the ground, his body rolling before coming to a stop.

Out of nowhere, Nya blasted (Y/n) in the stomach with a blast of water, knocking her away from Cole.

Zane ran over to Remo and picked him up, the little snake lifeless in his hold.

''P.I.X.A.L, what's his status?'' Zane asked her.

''His heartbeat is faint, and he has a broken rib,'' P.I.X.A.L answered. Zane's expression grew concerned at her words.

''We have another problem!'' Kai called out to the others.

Strong winds began to blow as (Y/n)'s Oni father appeared, holding a staff.

''I don't think we can win this fight,'' Jay spoke, dodging a hit from (Y/n). ''So let's skedaddle!''

''Ninja don't quit!'' Lloyd said, ducking under a punch from (Y/n).

''Lloyd's right-'' Kai was interrupted by a punch to his face. He rubbed the spot where he was hit. ''Hey!''

''How would you like to lose everything?'' Chamille asked.

''No thanks, I think I'd want to keep what I have right now, sorry,'' Jay spoke, and the others stopped to look at him.

''Really?'' Kai looked at him, slightly annoyed.

Jay rushed over to Remo and Lloyd kept (Y/n) away from them.

Suddenly, the ninja couldn't see each other. All was dark, and even the lightning and the rain no longer seemed to existed. The silence was the only response.

''Zane? Kai?!'' Cole called out for them. There was no response. He looked around, stumbling over a rock that jutted up from the ground. He fell, his face ending up in a puddle of mud.

Getting up, Cole saw a pair of magenta eyes glow in the gloom. Cole stepped back, seeing (Y/n)'s father approach him.

''Why are you here?'' The Earth Ninja asked, mud covering his gi.

''To not seek revenge, but to bring my daughter home.'' The Being of Destruction replied. ''You are getting in the way.''

Cole grabbed his scythe, and held it in front of him, ready to defend himself. The Oni looked at him, seemingly bored.

''(Y/n) took your place to fall into the darkness.'' The Oni said. ''Taking what was originally written and changing it so she was the one to fall instead.''

Cole gripped the handle of the Scythe. ''And why should I believe you?'' He asked, narrowing his eyes.

''Her fate was already written out ahead of her before the monks in the Cloud Kingdom put it in her scroll. She will return home.''

Remo woke, feeling pain in his lower rib. He looked around, hearing the beeping of the heart rate monitor.

''Is he awake?'' Asked a feminine voice, and a girl came into view, her jet-black hair up in a ponytail, wearing dark grey armour with thin stripes of blue on the edges.

''My scanners indicate he is awake.'' Confirmed a robotic voice.

The Strong One rose his head, using his forked tongue to sense his surroundings. Familiar scents entered his nostrils, and his brain sent signals that these creatures were his friends.

''Remo, what do you remember last?'' Asked a voice. The little snake took some time to think this over before a memory came to mind.

He couldn't let her be taken.

As he slithered to her, invisible, he knew what had to be done.

When she stopped, he curled himself around her leg and dug his small fangs into her skin, earning a screech of pain from her, becoming visible in the process.

She grabbed him and tossed him aside. He felt something break, and pain coursed from the spot. Though, he didn't have long to think about the pain before he blacked out.

Poor Remo. At least there's a good snake in this story.

Also, I'll be explaining why the ninja no longer have their Golden Weapons in this ''season''.

By explaining I mean showing, ya know.
