29(2nd last)

Aisha

Another day of school, after the weekend things completely changed.

I had so many questions I wanted to ask Alizeh and Narjis, but guess what, they didn't show up to school today.

And everyone student had found a new topic to gossip about now.

"Aisha!" Kisa shouted.

"What?"

"Let's go to the canteen to buy something come on," she was trying her best to cheer me up.

"You can go by yourself," I got up and left her alone, standing in the classroom.

I just decided to get to the roof of our school.

Looking up to the sky I was walking everywhere I looked around there were bloodstains on the ground, seeing all of it made me get teary eyes.

At that moment I decided to explore more around then  I saw a phone on the ground ,it didn't operate.

The screen was damaged, but I was sure it could be fixed, so I picked it up and placed the phone in my uniform pocket.

"Who are you?" A voice from behind asked me.

I slowly turned my head around and saw John; his hairs were all messed up.

"Oh John, what are you doing here, " I asked him.

"Nothing? Did you saw anything on the roof, " he asked in a bored tone.

"No, I didn't see anything. Why? Was there anything on the roof which belonged to you?" I asked.

"None of your business Aisha " he replied as he walked past me.

"Oh okay then I am leaving," I said, before walking away.

Why was John looking for it? I was pretty sure this was not his phone.

I didn't understand why, but this phone gave me the feeling it belonged to Alizeh.

After a moment I decided to tell everything about the phone I found to my friends

We all decided to meet up after school, so we were making our way to Jackson's cousin's house because if anyone knew how to fix a phone, it was him.

Our teacher entered the class, and after she picked up the board marker she said, "Students, as you might have seen Narjis and Alizeh, aren't here today and I just wanted to inform you all you that they have left this school," after she was finished with talking, everyone in the classroom started gossiping.

"Oh my god!"

"Now we don't have to see Ava's murders face every day!"

I couldn't believe it they both had left the school, without even telling us anything.

End of the pov

They went straight to the house of Jackson's cousin's after school ended. Jackson's cousin was about seven years older than him.

"So guys, this person here is my cousin, his name is Liam," Jackson introduced his cousin to his friends.

"How can I help you guys," Liam asked them.

Aisha took the phone out from her bag and gave it to him "can you fix this phone?"

"I can give it a try, but you need to give me at least one day to fix it," he answered.

"Oh that's okay, we will come here again tomorrow then," Sani said while looking around.

"Thanks for helping us bro," Jackson gave Liam a quick hug, and after that, they all made their way to their own houses.

As soon as Aisha reached her house, she quickly made her way to her room, she threw her bag on the bed and called Omaima.

There were many questions she wanted to have answers on, but she was unable to ask it at school because Omaima didn't come to school today.

On the call

Omaima: Hello?

Aisha: I want you to answer my question, Omaima.

Omaima: Ok

Aisha: Do you remember what you had said to me on the day of the concert? "I knew this would happen those dream and tarot cards reading make sense now."

Omaima: Yeah, I know.

Aisha: What do you mean by you knew?

Omaima: Aisha the dream you saw indicated that something bad is going to happen and it happened Kisa choose 3 cards which also indicated the same thing. I wanted to tell you guys about it, but I knew you wouldn't believe me.

Aisha: Was that dream really a warning?

Omaima: Yes it was, Aisha I would suggest that you accept what happened and forget it. You will meet them again bye Aisha, see you at school.

Omaima hanged up.

Accept what happened and forget what was?

Aisha couldn't believe her ears.

There was no way she would simply accept it, and forget her friends neither would she just accept that her friends were involved in the murder of Ava.

After that Aisha tried to call Alizeh and Narjis, but both had turned their phone off, they have even left their Whatsapp group.

Meanwhile  Sani

"Hello Mom I am home," Sani said when she entered the house, her mom was preparing dinner.

"Sani I asked your teacher to change your section I can't let you study in the class with those stupid friends of yours," her mom said in a serious tone which tolerated no contradiction.

"What!?" she said in a daze of shock.

"After your exams, you're going to LA to study there and live with your older brother it's already decided, Sani." Sani's mom said while she was still cooking.

"Sometimes mom, I feel like it's not my life, but instead it's yours" mad Sani stomped to her room.

She quickly took her phone out and texted Aisha telling her that her mom changed her section.

It seemed like the world had turned against their friendship.

Accepting the fact that certain things will never go back to how they used to be, it is a hard fact to accept for anyone out there...
