After school, me and Patton walk over to his house. He doesn't live far away, so we get there in good time. He opens the door for me and just as I walk inside, Patton lightly yells, "Mom, guess who's here!" His mom and little sister, Sofia, come out of their rooms and see me almost automatically. "Leilei!" Sofia says, and runs over to me. "Hey, Sofie!" I say, picking her up. "You were gone forever." She over-exaggerates as she rolls her eyes. "I know, but I'm back now, okay?" I smile, and she smiles back at me. "Okay Leilei!"

"Leilah, sweetie, welcome back." She smiles at me, and I smile back. "Hello, Ms. Sanders. How've you been?" "I've been well, thank you, dear. You two can head up to Patton's room, if you'd like."

As we walked up to Patton's room, the memories flooded back to me. The times we would run around outside in the backyard, the times we would pretend we were royalty with roman, all those sleepovers with just the six of us, disney sing alongs and all, just for the fun of it, everything.

"Wow.." I breathe. "It feels like I never left." "Honestly, we're all glad you're back." Patton said, with a warm smile. "Thanks, padre."
