It was the first day of school and the autumn breeze was rushing through the trees and blowing the goldenly yellow and red leaves off of them.

Leilah slowly walked through the halls, losing track of time while listening to ocean eyes. She bent down to tie her shoes, and someone accidentally bumped into her. "Sorry!!!" the guy said, genuinely worried. "It's alright! I'm fine." she said. She turned around, and they almost instantly recognized each other. "Patton?" He smiled and said "Leilah? It feels like it's been forever!" "I know right? surprise, I've only been gone for a year." She smiled back, and said "What's your first class?" "Biology, you?" she sighed and said "Same as yours.." they both laughed and Patton said "shall we?" "We shall." Leilah said, smirking.

As they were walking to class, a few familiar faces came around the corner. "Leilah, you remember Casey, Logan and Roman." Casey smiled and said "Leilei! Long time no see!" as he pulled her into a hug. Leilah smiled, hugged him back and said "I missed you too, Case. Hey Ro, hey Lo." In sync, Roman and Logan said "Hey!" and "Sup." "What are your classes?" Patton says "Pretty sure we all have the same classes, Lei." "Oh, okay." Leilah said. "We should get to class before the bell rings, don't wanna be late."
