𝐬𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬, 𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐞, 𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐠𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 / 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐬𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, (𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐲) , 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬. 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫. 𝐀𝐥𝐬𝐨, 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐱

𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙤𝙣𝙚 -

𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚, 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙬

— 𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀 𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐆 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖 𝐒𝐍𝐀𝐏𝐄 — 𝐃𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐎𝐑𝐘.

For one, their brother was murdered. By someone their father works for. Two, things are only about to get worse at school when their best friend / crush turns on them. Three, well, on top of losing their brother, their depression and suicide thoughts have skyrocketed.

Everyday, Willow lied in Cedric's bed, under the covers where he used to sleep. Where he used to hold them if they got nightmares, where they cuddled up reading good books to each other, mainly Willow trying to get Cedric into reading.

They sat at his desk, as they looked at everything in his room, left untouched since his death, except the bed they slept in every night instead of their own. Admiring all his quidditch metals, all his trophies, all his Nick Nacks, most of which they had made him.

The gazed at his triwizard tournament shirt, untouched since his death. Unwashed. Never to be washed. The smell of him would fade, but they kept his cologne full, sniffing it when they needed to be reminded of him. 

His quidditch jersey, number 17, with the embroidered heart on the left sleeve made by them. They held it close every day, as his teddy bear he slept with as a child, that Willow now sleeps with themselves as his scent is still present. But eventually, it would fade.

Declining invites from their friends, declining and refusing to leave Cedric's bedroom only for food, showering and occasional coffee. They moved their clothes into his room. They moved their books. Everything. Even their owls cage. Even their black cat's litter box.

Their best friend Charlie, and roommate at Hogwarts, would be going into her last year this year. But she was also determined to ask Dumbledore if she could stay an extra year or two to shadow the teachers, because she was leaning towards becoming a professor at Hogwarts, specifically, Astronomy. She enjoyed that class.

But although Charlie offered Willow to come visit them in Corsham, they politely rejected. They didn't want to even go back to Hogwarts. They just wanted to lay in Cedric's bed forever. But, they knew their father had missed them.

They'd tried moving on. They'd tried drowning the thoughts of ending their own life over the summer, when their father was at work, though he got a month and a half off, he had two weeks in the summer to go. 

They made plans. They tried. They really did. They'd drown themselves in the bath. Cut their wrists but never enough to bleed to death, tried even taking pills, but they couldn't ever  without Cedric's voice in their head telling them that this is not the solution. 

So, they never ended up dying. But they tried to. They'd spend occasional days in cities like Bath, Cambridge and Oxford. Just to get out of the house. But nothing could ever get Cedric off their mind.

Even going to the ocean for the sunset, Willow stayed in Cornwall for a few days, but every time they looked at the sunset, they saw Cedric smiling down at them. They couldn't take it anymore. But they couldn't just leave everything behind, either.

I guess, in the end, they just have to accept a part of their heart is gone. A part that can never be replaced.

— 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐓𝐎 𝐇𝐎𝐆𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐒.

Hazel and Charlie stayed some weeks at the headquarters, Charlie's presence requested by George, Hazel, had to be there. Sadly the rest of her siblings had to stay behind at home. But they reunite at the train station today.

Sirius was in his dog form, barking like a maniac. And Moody was on his tail.. (hahah ok)

"Padfoot, are you barking mad! You'll blow other entire operation!" He said, BARKING MAD HEHE HES A DOG OK BYE

He swiftly walked into an empty room then turned back iron his human form.

Hazel and Harry, behind him. Moody guarding.

"Sirius? What are you doing here? Someone will see you!" Harry said

"I had to see you both before you left" he said, "what's life without a little risk?"

"I don't wanna see you shoved back in Azkaban" hazel said 

"Oh, don't worry about me, darling" he said, smiling, "anyway, I have something for the both of you" he said, taking two photos out of his pocket 

Harry and Hazel took one of the photos and examined them. They were the same.

"It's the original order of the phoenix. Marlene McKinnon. Good friends with your mother, sadly, she was killed two weeks after the photo was taken. Voldemort took out her whole family he said, sighing, "That's Frank and Alice Longbottom" he said,

"That's Neville and Zack's parents" Hazel whispered 

"They suffered a fate worse than death if you ask me", he sighed again, "it's been fourteen years, but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss your dad" he teared up a little

"Do you really think there's going to be a war, Sirius?" Harry asked

He nodded, sadly.

"It feels like it did before" he said, pausing for a moment, "anyway, I suppose you're the young ones now" he said.

As Harry and Hazel said their goodbyes m they walked on the platform to aboard the train, but stopped when they saw someone in the distance.

"I think I'm hallucinating" Hazel said, but Harry put a hand on her shoulder 

"No, you're not. I see him too" he said, eager to get in the train

An hour later, Hazel and Harry were sat in a booth with Ron, Hermione, and Maggie, as they set off for Hogwarts. As it grew darker, things became more complicated.

They finally arrived, but Willow wasn't excited. This would've been Cedric's last year. 

"I'm surprised that the ministry still lets you walk around free, potter! Surprised your sister didn't get into any trouble at all either! Better enjoy it while you can, I reckon there's a cell in Azkaban with your name on it" Draco sneered, Harry tried punching him, but Ron and Maggie held him back.

Willow, honestly hated when he did this, he was such a different person when he was just with them. He wasn't mean, harsh, or loud. He was loyal, kind, and caring. 

"Draco, just fucking leave him alone! Seriously you got nothing better to do? Just fuck off and leave them alone and go swap spit with some whore!" They yelled, walking away with Harry and  his other friends.

Some 'oooohhhs' and 'I wanna do her' were said in the background 

"Sorry about that, he really doesn't have any respect" they said,

"Willow, why are you friends with him?" Harry asked, "I mean he's such a douche"

"You're right, he is. But he's different when it's just me and him. I don't know, he's always been my closest friend growing up, besides Cedric—" they choked on sobs a little, "so I guess it's just habit. But, Draco wasn't always like this" they said, "anyways, I'm sorry how much he bothers you all. I try and tell him to leave you alone, but he never listens." Willow said, and walked away towards Luna, and her sister, Salem, who they were quite good friends with.

"I don't buy that he was ever different" Ron said, " like come on what if she's lying?"

"Ron! They use they / them pronouns! I thought you'd get this because your sibling uses them" Hermione said

The last carriage had been taken, with Cho, Liam, Charlie, George, and Fred in it. 

Harry sighed, Neville and zach showed up,

"Hey guys" zach said, illy had gone with Rain, but they would be meeting at the great hall.

"Hey, zach" they all said at once

Harry and Hazel both gassed, as they could actually see what's pulling the carriage.

"Guys, do you see this?" Harry said

"What is it?" Hazel said, curiously 

"What is what?" Hermione asked 

"Pulling the carriage?"

"Nothing's pulling the carriage, Harry, it's pulling itself, like always" Maggie said

 Two blonde girls and a brunette sat in the carriage, it was Willow from earlier. And.. two blonde girls who Harry knows one of.. but doesn't see very much.

"You're not going mad, I can see them too" Luna said, "you're just as sane as I am"

It was a tight fit, with ten people in there, but, it worked.

"Everyone this is Loony-" hermione started, "Luna Lovegood, and her sister Salem" 

"What an interesting necklace" Hermione said, trying to make things less awkward 

"It's a charm, actually. Keeps away the nargles"

"Hungry. I hope there pudding" Salem said

Indeed, there was.

And as they welcomed the new defence against the dark arts teacher, Harry noticed that he knew her.

"That's the wacky weirdo from my trial!" He said, Hazel and Maggie snickered 

"Ew, why does she wear all pink, and ew, she giggles like a whore" Maggie said disgustied

Aspen snorted at that

Just then, she interrupted Dumbledores speech.

Even he was shocked.

She walked up , and made a speech about how she'd be friends with everyone and how everyone was smiling at her.

"That's likely" the triplets said in unison, sarcastically 

By the end, everyone realized that something was happening.

"What is happening?" Zach asked, at the Hufflepuff table

"I think the ministry is interfering at Hogwarts" illy said, frowning, but keeping an stink eye on Umbitch

By the time Harry and Hazel reached the Gryffindor common room, everyone was staring at them. I mean everyone.

Harry tried asking his friends if they had a good summer, but...

"Me mum didn't want me to come back, this year."

"Why not?" Hazel asked

"Let's see, erm, because of you two. The daily prophets been saying a lot of things about you, guys. And dumbledore as well"

"What, and your mom believes it?" Harry asked

"Well, nobody was there the night Cedric died."

"Oh, well, I guess you should read the prophet then! Like your stupid mother, it'll tell you everything you need to know"

"Don't you dare call my mother stupid!"

"I'll have a go at anyone that says were liars" Hazel said

Maggie and Ron showed up,

"What's going on here?" She said

"They're mad, that's what's going on! You actually believe them?" Sheamus said

"Yeah, we do. So anyone else got a problem with them?" Ron said

Everyone stared at the four walking up the stairs.

Hazel and Harry could not stop imagining this, this door at the end of a hallway.

But the next day, their fun was cut short.

Professor Umbitch destroyed a paper dove that was floating around the room, and everyone knew she would be a sucky teacher.

But they had no idea..

"Good morning, children" she said, "O.W.L s" she explained 

She used her wand to hand out the books, and Hermione was not happy with the ministry approved. Nothing about using spells.

"Yeah, but who's gonna prepare us if were attacked?" Hazel says, next to Maggie.

"Who would want to attack children, like yourselves?"

"Oh, I don't know, maybe Lord Voldemort?" Harry said obviously 

"Let me make this quite plain..you have been told a certain dark wizard has come to large once again. This. Is. A. Lie"

"It's not a lie! I saw him, I fought him!" Harry said

"Detention, Mr Potter!"

"So according to you Cedric Diggory dropped dead on his own accord?" Hazel said

Willow hated this right now, talking about their dead brother like he didn't get murdered by someone their father works for.

"Cedric Diggory's death was a tragic accident" 

Willow had had enough 

"No it was not! He was murdered by a lord Voldemort and he was taken away from us!" They screamed 

"Enough!" "Detention, Ms. Snape- Diggory. You were never a student I'd think would get detention" Umbitch said

"Yet, here we are" they replied 

"Mr Potter, Ms Snape-Diggory, my office after class" she giggles, Maggie threw up in her mind 

Later on, in her office of pink, Umbitch was spooning too much sugar in her tea as Harry and Willow approached. (No amount of sugar will ever make you sweet, darling)

"Good evening, children. Sit"

The two obeyed... 

"You're going to be doing lines today"

The two reached for their quills but were stopped

"Not with yours. With a rather special one of mine" she gave them each one, "I want you to write, 'I must not tell lies'"

This jade Willow furious, sure, I'll just lie about my brothers fucking death!

"How many times?"

"Well, let's say.. until the message sinks in"

"You haven't given us ink" 

"Oh, you won't need any"

After a few lines, Willow began groaning, Harry too. They looked on their hands, ' I must not tell lies" was written with their bold, carved into their hand.

They looked at her, she was acting all innocent.

"Nothing" Willow said

"That's right, because you know deep down you both deserve to be punished. Now, go on"

They left the room, dumbfounded.

Rock music plays as the triplets unbox things from their line of amazing things.

"Skiving snack boxes" George said, "sweets that make you ill!"

"And get out of class whenever you like" Aspen replied

Meanwhile, in the Ravenclaw common room, Willow was reading a book, Cedric's favourite, and his copy. Where he left notes for Willow if they were veer yo read it, he knew they would eventually. It only made them feel worse, but, somehow comforted. 

"Willow, what the fuck is on your hand?" Flynn asked

"Oh, that. It's nothing" they replied Meanwhile

"Um, no, it's a carved sentence on your hand!" Salem said

"Well, it-"

"Was that your detention? That's illegal! You and Harry need to tell Dumbledore" Charlie said

"I can't" they replied, walking away

Later on, as Harry was walking around the school, (with the voiceover of his letter to Sirius)

He spotted a creature flying into the forest. So, he followed it.

He found Luna and Salem feeding it food.

But Luna had no shoes on

"Hello, Harry Potter" Luna said softy

"Your feet. Aren't they cold?" He asked 

"A bit. Unfortunately, all my shoes have mysteriously disappeared. I suspect nargles are behind it"

"What are they?" 

"Thestrals" Salem said, "people tend to avoid them because they're a bit"

"Different" he finished "But why can't others see them?"

"They can only be seen by people who've seen death" Luna stated 

"So you know someone who's died?"

"Our mom. She was quite the extraordinary witch, but she did like to experiment, and one day one of her spells went badly wrong" Salem said, "we were nine and ten"

"I'm sorry" Harry said

"Yes, it was rather horrible." Luna said, "but we've got our dad" she added

"We all believe you, by the way" Luna said

"That you and Hazel fought you know who and the ministry are conspiring against you and Dumbledore"

"Thanks, seems like your the only ones who do" he said

"I don't think that's true" Luna said, "but I suppose that's how he wants you to feel"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, if I were you know who, I'd want you to feel cut off from everyone else, because if it's just you alone, you're not as much of a threat" Salem smiled

"Do you ever stop eating?" Hermione asked

"What? I'm hungry" Ron replied 

"Harry" 

"Can I join you?"

Just then voices outside the great hall were heard, fighting 

"I am merely requesting when it comes to my students, you conform the described discipline practices." Mcgongall said

"Sounds like you're questioning my authority in my own classroom"

They bickered on, and it was intense. 

"I've never seen her so mad before" Zach said from outside,

"Zach! Stop spying!" Rain said

"But many people are watching!"

And then, rules were put up. A LOT.

Trewlawny was thrown out.

"Sixteen years I've lived and taught at this school. Hogwarts is my home. You can't do this"

"Actually, I can"

McGonagall comforted her, as she was pissed.

But then dumbledore who had seem absent forever stepped out.

"Professor Mcgongall? Might I ask you to escort Sybil back inside"

"Dumbledore, may I remind you that, under the terms of the educational decree number 23 that-"

"You have the right to dismiss my teachers. You do not however the authority to banish them from the grounds. That power remains with the headmaster"

"For now" she smiled

"Go on! Don't you all have studying to do?" 

Harry tried getting to him, but just like that, he was gone in the snap of a finger.
