- Before this story takes place a little bit of background: when she was 7 years old, she saw her mother die after a robbery gone wrong. She screamed and destroyed every building in a 2 mile radius. This was covered up by S.H.I.E.L.D. as an earthquake. It killed 10 people and injured many more.

- At the age of 17, she had a really bad feeling that about getting in the car with her father so decided not to get in. He died in a car accident on the way to the grocery store. She screamed when it happened, destroying every building in a 10 mile radius.

- She was then taken in by S.H.I.E.L.D., where she was trained to control the screams and use proportions of them in combat

- The story begins when she turns 20

- She meets Steve Rogers and immediately becomes friends with him

- They begin to spark a chemistry

-  When the Avengers go to Lagos in Nigeria to try and stop Brock Rumlow who plans to steal a bioweapon. When Rumlow is cornered, he tries to kill himself by blowing himself up, trying to take Steve with him. Bethany screams, first killing Rumlow instantly. Wanda tries to contain her scream, but loses control of her powers, and inadvertently destroys a nearby building, killing several relief aid workers from Wakanda.
