For the longest time, the cats of the forest have lived in peace. They grouped together and made a group called the Tribe of Golden Pelts.

The cats of the tribe all had sleek fur, agile frames, and were known to others as the Leopard Cats.

Another group of cats, the Tribe of Speckled Stars, came from a far away land that the tribe called "Beyond." Some of them merged with the tribe. Gray mountain cats and bright forest cats made kittens that had silver fur and deep spots.

True mountain cats are hard to find. Almost all cats have spots, but only a few are like the ancient forest cats. Bright gold with luminous brown eyes.

The cats lived in peace for a long time. However, one of the last pure forest cats rebelled. He hated that the mountain cats with boring coats were changing how the tribe looked.

He was named Oak Log.

They were losing their respect. They were known as the small leopards to some, and now that gray cats were in their midst, they were becoming more like "common wild cats." They didn't live up to their name anymore. The Tribe of Golden Pelts was no more.

But nothing happened until Oak Log died. His two kits, Frog Leap and Tall Pine, decided to make a move.

They carried their father's beliefs. They thought that they weren't living up to their name, but the leader of the tribe didn't want to change it.

They took around a third of the Tribe of Golden Pelts, and left for the nearby jungle, the Vine Jungle.

They made VineClan.

Territory

They live on the edge of the forest, so they can catch forest and jungle prey. They live in an area with a waterfall, called the Spirit's Waterfall. The camp is a small valley next to the pond.

Legend says that drinking the water that flows down will call Anima to you.

Religion

They worship one god, Anima. She's the Goddess of spirits, the moon and stars, clouds, and new life. She's a small ocelot with bright yellow eyes.

Every moon, they leave one piece of prey in a small cave in the waterfall, called Spirit's Cavern. Anima will take the prey to eat. Spirits appear in the cave, and spirits go there to enter the Cloud Realm.

The Cloud Realm is basically StarClan, and the Smoke Realm is the Dark Forest. The similarities between them show that all cats start as mist. Some will rise as clouds, and others will become dark.

Anima had many kits, who are all demigods.

Healers have two vines wrapped around each ear, with no flowers

Trainees have one vine without flowers

Mothers have red

Elders get to choose (but since they aren't playable-)

Ruler

Rulers are almost like leaders of the 4 canon clans (ThunderClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, WindClan). However, they only announce and suggest laws and decisions. hey are addressed as "King/Queen/Ruler (name)."

Council

The council is the cats who make the decisions. They vote for the rules, and sometimes will let the Ivys decide. They are elected every year on the first day of seed-sprout. The ratio of cats to council members is 5:1, so if there are 20 cats, there will be 4 council members. The Ivy's, the kits, and the mothers count.

Ruler's Family

The ruler's parents, kits under 6 moons, and mate goes into this rank. They have regular duties, but have a special vine and rank. They will return to their regular rank after the ruler dies.

Healers

Healers are the cats who mostly heal. They do hunt, gather, etc, but they must prioritize helping the sick. They usually stay in camp.

Hunters

Hunters, well, hunt. They catch prey for their clan.ย

Fighters

Fighters are cats who patrol, fight, and guard. They go with Hunters and Gatherers to protect them on patrols. They are mostly strong cats.ย

Gatherers

Gatherers are cats who forage. They have good eyes and usually have short fur that won't be caught on branches. They can forage anything, from sticks, to herbs, to Twoleg things that you can find along some paths.ย

Kits

Kits are...well, kits. They become trainees at 6 moons. They stay with their mothers in the Nursery and are allowed out of camp if they have adult supervision the whole dang time + permission + don't slip into some bushes.

Mothers

Mothers are a general term for cats who nurse/are expecting kits. Cats who find kits will give them to a queen. They will have to stay in the den and are obligated to stay there until their kits have grown up, no matter how much they like them. *cough* Rainflower *cough*

Elders

Elders are cats over 12 moons. They can choose to retire, or can be forced to. If a cat gets an unhealable injury, such as blindness or a limp, they'll have to retire to the elder's den. These cats are highly respected.

The weather is usually tropical. However...

Winter - -1 foraging, -1 prey

Snowstorms: 5% chance

Extreme winds: 20% chance

Fall - +1 foraging, -1 prey

Tornado: 2% chance

Extreme Winds: 15% chance

Spring - +1 prey

Flood: 20% chance

Snowfall (winter) will have more illnesses, redleaf (autumn) will have more death to fallen branches, seed-sprout (spring) will have injuries to rain, and sun-drought (summer) will have heat-related deaths.

Snowfall starts when the pond begins to freeze, redleaf starts when the Star Tree (the tree in the middle of their camp) turns red, seed-sprout starts when the first leaves on the Star Tree begins to grow, and sun-drought starts when the Star Tree attracts its first butterfly of the year.

The Star Tree is a magnolia.

-Common

Monkeys:

-Just generally annoying

-Rare

Rogues & Loners:

-Usually alone and peaceful

-Easily taken care of if you work together

-Really long and deadly

-Most of the time, the alert is when a cat dies, be careful!

-Rare

Bird Flocks:

-The deadliness depends on the type of bird, toucans are the worse

-Sometimes, taming or killing the "lead bird" can disband the flock

-Uncommon

Treason Commands:

/ask to become secret mates with [cat].

You can also /murder a cat. Going into description will give you a slightly higher chance of succeeding!

/steal [item] from [cat] /attack [cat] are other treason commands.

All of these commands will be pm-ed to me, and then the results will be replied back. The cat you're attacking/killing/asking to be secret mates will be pm-ed, too. They'll pm /accept -'s request to accept your request!

You can find pets, such as mice, owls, and snakes. However, they will take a while to get used to you. An easier way would be to buy one with palm leaves from a Merchant that passes through.

The usual amount of energy is 3. Kits have 2, trainees have 3, with one reserved for training. All training, hunting, fighting, and gathering commands take 1 energy. Voting, bonding, and predicting use 0.5 energy, along with most improvised commands.
