diamondclan was founded by diamondgem many, many seasons ago. it is known as a clan of honor.

TERRITORY

diamondclan lives in a dense oak forest, dotted with blue flowers. their camp is in a sheltered valley near the middle of the forest.

the medicine cat speaks to the misted moon through a tunnel, just outside of the territory. the cave leads into a large cavern which has a large pool of water, which has many, tiny gemstones at the bottom, which causes it to shimmer. these gemstones will draw blood from any cat who is unworthy to be in the presence of the pool, however respected they are in the clan, except from the medicine cat, leader, and deputy, which will only feel a tiny prickle.

PREY & PREDATORS

common prey; shrews, mice, squirrels, sparrows, robins, thrushes

uncommon prey; finches, crows, voles, rabbits

rare prey; bats, snakes

common predators; foxes, badgers

uncommon predators; skunks, raccoons, dogs

rare predators; bears, wolves

killing a raven could get you exiled; raven feathers are considered good luck!

LANDMARKS

the camp; the camp is in the largest valley in the diamond forest. it has the usual camp elements, and the prey pile is in a small hollow, which used to be a cat den.

the diamond pool; the diamond pool, where the medicine cats speak with the misted moon. there are small gemstones at the bottom that seem to be calling for you to step into the pool.

clearing of bluebells; this is a clearing near the camp. bluebells surround the edge of the grass, and its perfect for hunting or fighting. however, there is a decreased chance of finding prey, as the clearing is so close to camp. new apprentices train here before moving on to the training cavern.

the training clearing; the training clearing is a clearing far from camp. it has a tiny stream with sharp stones, which makes it dangerous for young or clumsy apprentices. this place is good for woodland prey and fish.

grassy valleys; this is a patch of small valleys without trees, near the edge of the territory. there are sometimes bunnies in these ditches. it is good for prey without wings.

pine grove; an unusual area of pine trees. legend says that pinegem, one of the earliest and greatest leaders, is buried here. as tribute, the misted moon caused pine trees to sprout near his grave. this place has the slightly eerie effect of being haunted, and some cats say they can see the brown pelt of pinegem between the trees, leaping up the trunks or stalking some invisible prey.

THE MISTED MOON

the misted moon is the starclan of this world. these cats are mysterious and vague. they can give out powers, such as sharper claws or a luck boost, if the mists (spirits) believe you can make an impact. it is so rare, that many believe it is a myth.

medicine cats connect with the mists through the diamond pool. usually, it is a close relative, clan leader, or someone they look up to.

LAWS OF THE GEMSTONES

i. defend diamondclan and the misted moon with your life.

ii. elders, queens, kits, and sick/injured cats must be fed before apprentices and warriors.

iii. do not kill any other animal, cat, predator, or prey, unless it is necessary. (only kill prey for food, only kill a cat if it is absolutely necessary for self defense, and only kill a predator if it is within the borders or attacking a clanmate.)

iv. ravens shall not be killed, unless absolutely necessary (if the clan is starving, etc)

v. medicine cats may not have kits under any circumstances. a female leader must give her kits to another queen to nurse.

vi. borders must be marked daily. challenge all trespassing cats, but use words before claws.

vii. a kit must be six moons old before becoming an apprentice, and an apprentice must be at least 12 moons old before becoming a warrior.

viii. no cat is above the misted moon. the leader's commands can be overridden by the mists.

ix. no cat can neglect a kit, even if it is a rogue or loner.

x. in the end, diamondclan is one community, united under the misted moon, who will protect each other from any trouble, and will stick with each other through thick and thin.

TO THE LEADER

protect your clan above all else. follow the misted moon. it will guide you leaders password is diamond if you will listen. you are allowed to change anything in this roleplay, although it will not be permanent.

a new leader can erase everything their predecessor changed, if they so choose.

TO THE DEPUTY

although you are a respected senior warrior, you must train in the ways of leading deputys password is respect. listen to the leader and learn.

TO THE MEDICINE CATS

heal your clan. med password is the first herb you can think of. you are the connection with the misted moon within diamondclan. without you, your clan is nothing.

TO THE WARRIORS

you are the bones of this clan. warrior password is your favorite dessert. if you train hard enough, you may become deputy, or leader. aim high, and be wary of outsiders.

TO THE APPRENTICES

work hard! you're going to be a warrior or medicine cat one day, apprentices password is your favorite flower, maybe even leader?

TO THE KITS

enjoy your life! remember, your leader or parents can punish you, kits password is your favorite gemstone, for any pranks.

TO THE ELDERS

as an elder, it is your job to pass on legends and lessons to the younger cats. teach them all you know. remember, you can still learn from the warriors, even though elder password is favorite weather you may be older. like a kit, enjoy your life!

TO THE OUTSIDERS

you are the wanderers of the forests. you may choose to join the clan, make a [secret] group, or even take territory! remember, though, you are outside the outside pass is second letter of username code, and you may be killed.
