The nine years old Mew was running back home from school hiding under his backpack since it suddenly started raining, he was so happy since he finished making his gift for his mother's birthday on time and was really excited about today's little party they are having at home when his father comes back. By the time he arrived

"mom! I'm back!" he yelled from the door taking off his shoes seeing his mother walking toward him with a towel

"I knew you would be drenched, make sure to take a hot bath" she smiled drying his hair gently, Mew smiled enjoying how close his mother was, he loved her so much since she sacrificed so much for him, he knew that she even had to give up her dream job just to be with him since Mew got sick a lot when he was younger and his mother spent most of her time running between home and the hospital while his father was mostly busy with work

They were a small happy family, enjoying their time together, Mew's father worked so hard for his family and even managed to buy a great house for them but he also did his best to be with his son going on trips and taking him to have fun that's Mew's perfect family and he loved his parents a lot, hugging them and creating gifts for them... but in reality there is no perfect family

It was a day when Mew was a second year in middle school, luckily the last period was cancelled and he ran back home wanting to catch up and help his mother making dinner yet when he arrived, he noticed that the place was dark with all curtains closed even though it's still bright outside, just when he was about to call out for his mother he heard weird noises coming from his parents' room, he slowly walked without making any noise

The anxious boy peeked into the bedroom since the door was open, his heart stopped for a moment with his eyes going wide in shock from what he saw, he froze even forgetting how to breath... there he saw his mother making out with a strange man, he saw how she was hugging and kissing the other man being all lustful and enjoying herself

"one more round and you should leave, my son will be back in an hour"

"too bad, next time, you come to my place baby and stay over so we could have fun all night, I can't get enough of you"

"we have been together for 5 years now and you still want more?! Pervert"

"I don't mind being a pervert for you baby"

"fi-five ye-years" Mew unconsciously mumbled standing in front of the room, he was so stunned starring at them in disbelieve as the happy family picture he had in mind started cracking, his mother on the other hand also was shocked by her son's presence as the man jumped wearing his pants while she quickly covered herself with the bed sheets, she jumped out of the bed and walked toward Mew

"Mew, why are you back this early? Umm... what you saw was... euh... an acting" she said patting on his shoulders, Mew followed her hands with his eyes, his mothers hands who always hugged him lovingly, her touch that made him feel better when he is sad or sick, her touch that was always gentle and tender... his mother reached caressing his cheek as Mew shivered, the same hands that always made him feel safe were touching another man lustfully with so much passion, it was at that moment that the picture shattered and Mew started feeling disgusted

"don't touch me!!!" he yelled slapping her hand away feeling so sick to his stomach

"Mew, my dear son... I'm sorry it had to be like this but you see, I've never actually loved your father and was already planning to ask for a divorce but I wanted to wait until you at least finish middle school, I'm sorry son" she got closer hugging him which made Mew sicker, he pushed her away and run to the toilet throwing up, his mother followed up and tried to get closer to him

"don't come closer, I'm so disgusted by you right now! You're not my mother! My mother would never do smth like that, she will never do it!" tears came rushing out of his eyes while the mother froze in shock watching her son crying so much, the man came closer holding her

"there is no point arguing or hiding anything anymore, let's make this official" the mother was also tearful, she never wished to hurt Mew like this but she knows that nothing can be the same again.

The next few months were very hazy for the pitiful boy, he was in shock as his parents quickly got a divorce and his mother moved away to start living with her lover, for Mew seeing his beloved mother with another man was very traumatizing that he couldn't talk for days, of course his father tried his best to comfort his son but failed

It was this accident that turned Mew into a haphephobic person who hates to be touched by anyone, if he feels any other skin on his even by accident, he starts to get panic attack sometimes while feeling nausea and he even ended up fainting a couple of times when his father tried to hug him trying to comfort him.

The first year was a disaster for Mew, he barely ate and was mostly silent, his father was so worried and even took him to a psychiatrist that helped him relax a bit but his haphephobia couldn't be cured and that's why Mew made a decision of working hard to get a good job that can be done from home in the future and get a peaceful life with no human contact because he knows that he can never trust or touch anyone for the rest of his life, he even can't stop himself from getting doubtful about his father and keep avoiding him.

He started wearing gloves and long sleeves shirts while avoiding packed places keeping his distance from everyone, he completely focused on his studies and worked hard rarely having any contact even with his father who had no choice but to stand from afar watching his son growing up lonely like that, he even work out at home only going for runs very early in the mornings when most people are still asleep just to keep fit since he spent most of his time at home.

By the time Mew graduated from university, he became a great architect, he was invited to join some company and other people but of course he refused and kept working alone starting with very small projects until his name started to be recognized as he led buildings and houses projects all by himself

He already started renting a good apartment in the city, he almost cut all contact except with his clients, the construction companies or his father who would visit or call him sometimes, for Mew this live was enough for him and he will continue living like this for the rest of his life, he finished settling down by adopting a little cute puppy spending his everyday between taking care of him and working inside his apartment.

Completely opposite to him, there was Gulf Kanawut who had to move to Japan when he was 10 years old due to his parents' work, his life was great, since he is a cheerful and friendly person, he quickly blended in and did his best to learn Japanese so fast so that he won't have any problem communicating with others.

His family were a very happy loving one, his parents always spoiled him along with his older and younger sisters, what made him happier is that his childhood friend Mild moved to Japan to start high school and continue his universities studies there after convincing his parents, Gulf's family welcomed him to their house as he became like a brother to Gulf

During high school, Gulf discovered that he was gay, he just found himself so attracted to another boy from a different class back then, of course, he was hesitant and scared to tell anyone about this yet slowly he opened up to Mild who encouraged him and helped him to accept who he is, by university, Gulf got his first boyfriend and managed to come clean to his family who were against it at first but after seeing how much their son was happy with his lover, they slowly accepted him and even supported him when he ended up breaking up

Gulf life was nearly perfect, he was very happy living comfortably with his family and his new boyfriend, he studied hard to become an amazing interior designer, right after graduation he joined in many projects and even a TV show, he also got the chance to design some stages for a drama and a couple of movies which helped him to become more and more famous getting bigger projects.

His 2 years older sister got married just when Gulf graduated from university, Gulf was so happy for her especially that her husband was truly a great man who was always with her during her happy and sad days, they have been dating since first year of university and even joined the same company for work and after getting a stable life they decided to get married and she finally gave birth to a twins who just 2 years old a week ago.

Everything was going smoothly for them, they were enjoying their lives, Gulf's father got another promotion and is going to work at the main branch of his company in America, his mother was also accepted to work there with her husband, Gulf's younger sister got accepted in Tokyo's university and she is aiming to become a nurse, Mild also graduated as veterinarian and started working at a good animal clinic... everything was so perfect that no one predicted the happening of a big tragedy that affected their lives.

Gulf's older sister and her husband left their twins with Gulf on his off day and went on a one day trip to enjoy a hot spring close to the city unfortunately, on their way back and because of the sudden downpour, the car slid causing a huge accident causing the couple to go into a coma aside from their deep injuries, the family were extremely depressed and devastated by this accident, the doctors failed to find any solution and to predict the duration of their coma

The parents were very worried about her and even decided to decline the transfer, their days became filled with tears and gloomy feelings yet Gulf couldn't sit back and watch his family suffering like that, even his younger sister kept skipping many lectures and that's when he calmed himself before facing them

"Mom, dad, you should accept the transfer and go to work in America, it's a golden chance that you've been waiting and working so hard for all your lives, and you Lin, I know that you are so sad but you need to start going to your university again"

"what are you talking about Gulf, we can't leave your older sister like this" his mother said

"I also feel so down and can't concentrate on anything"

"I understand, but my sister and her husband will be fine, they will surely wake up, my sister will be extremely angry if she find out that you all missed everything for them, besides she is well and just sleeping, I'm here and I will keep visiting them as much as I can, and you Lin, I know it's hard but think about it, you are going to be a nurse and it's your job to take care of patients like our sister, and maybe, if you work hard, you can even start your internship early at that hospital and keep an eye on older sister"

"you're right, one time when she got so sick and I missed an important business trip, she yelled at me and got so angry" Gulf's mother said

"you are right son, the doctor said that they are sleeping as their brain is slowly recovering, besides we can come visit right away as soon as they wake up" Gulf's father added

"really? I can start an early internship if I study harder?! Then I will start attending all my lectures from tomorrow onwards, I promise I will do my best I can be by my sister and brother-in-law's side and take care of them" Lin said feeling motivated

"what about the twins?" the father asked glancing at them watching some cartoon

"I will take care of them, I can work from home besides, a friend of mine works at a kindergarten close by, I can leave them with him when I have to work outside, don't worry, I will take care of everything" Gulf said

"thank you son, I'm really proud of you, we are really sorry for making you do all this by yourself, we will support you and help you with anything you want" the mother said looking very emotional, Gulf was trying his best to keep acting strong and smile encouraging his family but he was so sad and hurt since he really loved his sister, yet for now what mattered is his parents and his younger's sister happiness...

His parents started preparing themselves and will be living by the end of the month while Lin started working hard and even staying up so late to catch up, Mild also supported and helped around whenever he got time, which helped Gulf be more hopeful especially that his boyfriend was also supportive and comforted him a few time which made Gulf loves him even more, they have been dating for 4 years after all... however, the designer never guessed that the man he loved would actually push him away and betray him breaking his heart

It was two weeks before Gulf's parents leave, he was on his way to pick up the twins after having a meeting with a client, on his way back, he saw his lover walking with another man so he called him right away without noticing that they were actually holding hands until his lover turned to face him, Gulf's heart sank and he turned pale after seeing that, of course his boyfriend was shocked too starring back but he walked closer facing Gulf who was holding the twins

"I never wanted you to discover my attention like this, I was trying to be considerate after what happened to your sister, but you see, I actually found my real lover, I'm sorry for deceiving you but I found out that I mistook my attraction to you as love until I actually fell in love with him" he pointed to the man he was holding who looked troubled and embarrassed, Gulf was starring at them in shock

"this is a joke right? Please this is too mean for a prank"

"I'm really sorry Gulf, I was trying to find the right time to tell you the truth, but we really have different thinking, our personalities doesn't match, I was trying to go with the flow with you all this time, like the time you said you wanted to adopt kids in the future but I dislike kids... anyway, I sincerely apologize, I really wish that you will also find your true love and be happy with him... farewell" Gulf was standing speechless watching his ex-boyfriend walking away with his man, the man was so shocked, he felt like he was hit by thunder burning all the sweet feelings and plans he had for that man

The news were so sudden and very hurtful that caused Gulf to drown in sadness, he never imagined that he will have to go through all this at the same year, the pain was too much for him to bear, he really loved that man and even imagined a happy future with him but nothing went as he expected, his family and Mild got so worried about him and then they got a call from Thailand that they found as a way to help Gulf move on and start a new life

"Gulf, how about you return to Thailand?" his mother started

"Thailand?"

"yes, my parents called me and offered to help with raising the twins, also my mother have a good friend at a hospital and we decided to move your sister and her husband to that hospital" his mother answered

"actually, I also got invited to work at a big animal clinic there so I also was thinking of moving back to our home country" Mild said wanting to encourage Gulf

"what about Lin?"

"don't worry P' Gulf, I'm going to share an apartment with a my friend until graduation and then I will move back to Thai to start working there, besides, we can still visit each other on vacations" Lin said assuring her brother that she will be fine

"it's a chance for you son to start a new life there, actually, your grandfather's friend already need your help at work there, you will get busy as soon as you arrive but I know that you will be fine" Gulf understood that his family was trying to help him to move on and be happy again, he also found it a chance for him to start anew at his home country

"I guess I will go, thank you for this chance, I promise I will take care of my nephew and niece (the twins are a girl and a boy) and also my sister and brother-in-law, Lin, you can call me anytime and I will come flying to you"

"I know you will P' Gulf" after sending the couple back to Thailand first, the parents said their goodbyes and flew to America, Gulf helped Lin settle down with her roommate at their new apartment then he also flew back to Thailand along with the twins and Mild, determined to begin a new life there.
