"HELLO and welcome to my stream everyone! Fair warning for those who are under 13, this stream will be PG-13 or higher for... a lot of cursing" Kang Seolhee states in two breaths as she begins her Twitch stream. 

"Today we are playing Genshin and then we'll see what the fuck happens from there~" I state, my eyes scanning the comments and the screen in general. Soft clicks fill the air as I enter Genshin Impact.

"Ring a ding ding here comes Heeseung..." I mumble to myself, a feeling of giddiness spreading through my body. Maybe this time he won't be so aggressive and give me some hiluchurrls to kill today, maybe not.

"Hey Seolhee~" Heeseung says, winking at me as I make it a split screen to show both of us. (bear with me I've never used twitch once in my life 🤡) 

"Quit being a flirt Heeseung, you literally have a girlfriend" I say, though I'd rather the fact to not be true. He clearly hates her, and everyone knows I'm better. Even the fans know! Which is sad now that I think about it...

"Ah, you caught me Eol" he says playfully, even I can tell he doesn't really give a fuck.

"Well no matter that, Genshin is getting started up and I can see my virtual boyfriend Diluc soon!" The 'EHE- TE NANDAYO?!' from Paimon's Japanese voice line plays (search it up it's hilarious) because someone gifted me some subs (I think I'm saying this right 🤡).

The message read off something so easy to answer, like why would they ask?

"Would you rather date Heeseung or Diluc? Immediately Diluc." I answer quickly, what kind of question is this? It should've been harder...

"Hey!" A voice cuts through my thoughts, Heeseung's cry of offense reaches my ears. 

"Sorry not sorry Hee, I mean have you seen Diluc? Especially in the manga..." at this point I'm drooling but who cares?

The Genshin screen has finished loading and my party shows up and Diluc is already there, he's my main. 

"Ahhhhh!! Hey Diluc, how ya doing? I bet you missed me even if I've only been offline for 12 hours~" I spew, absolutely fangirling.

"Stop fangirling over him and kill come hilichurls instead. It's better and maybe I'll buy you some Genesis Crystals so you can wish for Nadia..." Heeseung trails off, and I immediately go to his character which is already in my world.

"Fine..." I say, pouting but there's no real sadness to it, if I'm with Heeseung I'll be a-ok.

I see his Kazuha standing there, my eyes scanning the surroundings, looking for hilichurls. Yes, he bribed me. Do I care though? No.

We killed some hilichurls - Heeseung killed most - and I he gave me wishing material! 

I internally screamed, I'd been trying to get Nadia for a while since her rerun came and I couldn't get her no matter what, and I'd been trying to spend less money, which was ultimately failing, and he just gifted me enough for a 10-pull.

"Heeseung, you have blessed this 10-pull with the money from your bank account, please pray with me for Nadia." I bow my head, even if I'm joking, and press the 10-pull button.

The wish falls from the sky, turning from blue to yellow. "OH MY FUCKING GOD YES- HEESEUNG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH" I yell, excitement overcoming me.

I skip till I see my wifey Nadia in all her glory "FUCK YEAH!" I yell. It's times like these that I'm happy I live alone. 

I put on sunglasses and start dancing to nonexistent music, just having fun, cause why not?

Suddenly my phone rings. It's Mishil's number, but we rarely talk so I'm wondering why she's calling me.

"Hey guys, I have a call to answer, Hee will take over for now, I'll be right back" I say with a happy tone, even if it doesn't represent how I'm feeling.

I stand up and walk over to another room, answering the call.

"Hello, is this Ms. Kang Seolhee?" A gruff voice on the other side questions. "Yes sir, this is she." I answer.

Then it happened. This is when my world fell apart, even if I didn't know it then, life would become hard, harder than it was, and the world would begin to know the truth behind all of my friends, including me and Heeseung.

"I regret to inform you that Noh Mishil is dead. She died from a sleeping drug overdose. This was no accident, she committed suicide. I apologize Ms. Seolhee for your loss. Any other friends of Mishil will be informed soon." He says it with little empathy, little compassion, as if he is reading off of a script, which he probably is.

I was stunned into silence and don't respond. He hangs up without a second thought.

How? More importantly, why?

Mishil was alive yesterday, she talked to me actually, said something about her life is about to get a ton better. I didn't know she meant... that.

I get a message from Heeseung.

HEE-HEE:

i got the news, hope ur okie 

I just respond with a thumbs up, and shut my eyes as I put down my phone. I have a feeling that this isn't a situation where the funeral happens, we mourn, and then we move on. No. I have a feeling that Mishil will linger.

Her legacy will live on, she will be remembered, in a good or bad way, well I guess nobody knows.
