Bialya
September 3, 00:16 EEST

In the cold dark desert lit up by the night sky, Miss Martian (in her stealth suit) groaned as she turned visible. She sat up and held her head.

Miss Martian: '[Martian] <Ohh, my head.>'

She then noticed her surroundings.

Miss Martian: '[Martian] <Where am I? This can't be Mars...One moon?>'

She picked up a handful of sand and watched as it seeped through her fingers.

Miss Martian: '[Martian] <White sand?>' (takes a deep breath) '[Martian] <Oxygen!>'

She slapped her head in realization.

Miss Martian: Hello, Megan. I'm on Earth.

She got up and started walking down the dune.

Miss Martian: 'But how did I get to Earth? Why am I wearing this costume?' (holds her head) 'And why does my head hurt so much?'

She lost her footing, causing her to tumble down to the bottom of the dune. She slowly got, but suddenly felt a hand holding her right shoulder tightly and something sharp lightly jabbing the side of her neck.

???: You so much as breathe funny, I'll rip your trachea out, and your last thought will be, "Holy shrap, she really did it."

Miss Martian slowly looked over her shoulder and saw her captor. It was a human girl with Caucasian skin and short brown hair. She wore a red-and-dark-grey suit and mask with a large black spider on the front and two black bracers with white spiders on top of them. Miss Martian glanced at the spider logo on the girl's chest.

Miss Martian: 'Why does that symbol look so familiar?'

Spider-Woman: Hey! Eyes front, greenie!

Miss Martian quickly broke her gaze from Spider-Woman and looked ahead.

Spider-Woman: Who are you?

Miss Martian: Uhh...M'gann M'orzz. I'm a Martian.

Spider-Woman: Well, that explains the green skin. Where are we?

Miss Martian: I don't know.

She felt the sharp object press harder on her neck, which made her whimper in fear.

Spider-Woman: Don't you dare lie to me!

Miss Martian: I'm not! I swear to C'eridyall I don't know where we are! All I know is that we're on Earth, but I don't even know how I got here! I swear.

After a few tense seconds, Miss Martian felt the hand and the sharp object get removed from her, which caused her to sigh in relief as she turned around and saw Spider-Woman retract her right stinger, pull her mask off her head, and kick the sand in frustration.

Valeria: [Spanish] <Dammit! Why is this happening to me? Why don't I even...?>

While Valeria ranted in Spanish, Miss Martian slowly approached her.

Miss Martian: Are...you okay?

Valeria turned around and glared at her, revealing her green eyes. Her expression was enough to get Miss Martian to back away.

Valeria: Of course I'm not okay! I don't even know who I am! I can't even remember my own name!

Miss Martian: (raises her hands) Okay. I'm sorry.

Valeria: (sighs) It's fine. I should be the one apologizing. I did just threaten you.

She then paused for a second before beginning to pat her suit. She then slowly pulled out a cell phone and stared at the lock screen, which was a picture of herself in a red-and-white variant of the suit she's currently wearing with the spider on her chest being white instead of black, as well as a boy her age with medium-length brown hair and green eyes. What caught her eye was the costume he was wearing. He wore a red-and-blue suit with a hood and a white spider symbol on his chest.

Valeria: Uhh...You know this guy?

She turned the phone to show Miss Martian the lock screen. After a few seconds of staring, Miss Martian responded.

Miss Martian: He does look familiar to me. I don't know why, though. He does look a lot like you.

Valeria: (sighs) Figures. I think he might be my brother or something.

She unlocked the phone and swiped the screen until she managed to find a contact with her picture on it. She tapped it and saw her contact information.

Valeria: Valeria Rollins. My name is Valeria Rollins.

Miss Martian: Well, that's good, right? You managed to know your own name.

Valeria put the phone back in her suit.

Valeria: It's a start, at least. Still doesn't explain how or why we're in the middle of a desert, though.

She started pacing in front of Miss Martian while muttering in Spanish.

Miss Martian: 'Is this some kind of dream?'

She saw Valeria stop pacing and perk her head up. Before she could react, she shot a web line at Miss Martian's chest.

Miss Martian: Hey! What are you—

Valeria immediately pulled Miss Martian towards her just before something crash-landed, leaving a crater where she once stood.

The two girls looked at the crater and noticed a black-haired, blue-eyed boy glaring directly at them with a look of pure rage. What caught their attention was the black T-shirt that he was wearing that had a red S-shield on the chest.

Valeria: That symbol...Are you...Superman?

Superboy grabbed his shirt and ripped it off with a roar. Valeria immediately heard her Spider-Sense blaring loudly, so she kicked Miss Martian away and jumped in the opposite direction just before Superboy lunged at them. Superboy turned to Valeria and lunged at her again, but she flipped out of the way and took a battle stance as orange electricity surrounded her right fist.

Valeria: You better cool it, buddy.

Superboy didn't heed Valeria's warning and lunged at her again, while she drew her fist back and jumped toward him. Once she closed the distance, she punched Superboy square in the chest with her Venom-charged fist, sending him flying into a sand dune.

Superboy crawled out of the dune as he and Valeria made eye contact with each other. For some reason, a sense of familiarity washed over her as she noticed Superboy's eyes soften slightly. Suddenly, Superboy turned around and jumped away, disappearing into the desert.

Valeria: 'At least that's over. But why did he feel so familiar?'

She looked down at her hands.

Valeria: 'And how did I just make my own electricity? What else can I do?'

She shook her head before walking towards Miss Martian, who was sitting on the ground while hugging her knees close to her chest.

Miss Martian: (mutters) It's a nightmare. It's a nightmare. It's a nightmare.

Valeria stood in front of Miss Martian and held her hand out, causing the Martian to look up at her.

Valeria: Come on. We should find a way out of here.

Miss Martian hesitated for a few seconds before taking Valeria's hand, allowing herself to be pulled up to her feet. Valeria put her mask on as Miss Martian wrapped an arm around her waist.

Miss Martian: Hang on.

Spider-Woman: Huh? Hang on to—

She was interrupted when Miss Martian lifted off the ground and started flying while hanging on to Spider-Woman.

------------------------------

In another part of the desert, Spider-Man groaned as he slowly opened his eyes. He slowly sat and looked around, noticing his surroundings.

Spider-Man: 'Where am I? Did I end up in Tatooine or something?'

He looked up at the sun and squinted his eyes.

Spider-Man: 'No twin suns. I didn't suffocate or implode yet, so I'm still on Earth. That's good, I guess. But where exactly am I?'

He took out his phone from his pocket, but sighed once he noticed the signal strength.

Spider-Man: 'No bars. That's just great.'

Then his eyes widened once he saw the date.

Spider-Man: 'SEPTEMBER?! What happened to March?! Oh, God. Dad, Peter, MJ, Gwen, they must be worried sick if I'm gone this long.'

As he looked around, he noticed a run-down shed nearby. He got up and started walking towards the shed.

Spider-Man: 'I should get in some shade. I won't survive long if I stay in the sun.'

He then noticed the suit he was wearing. Instead of the standard blue-and-red he'd usually wear, his suit had a different color variant. The blue was replaced with black, the red was now a darker shade, and the spider logo on his chest was dark grey instead of white.

Spider-Man: 'What the heck am I wearing? Never thought I'd be wearing black, of all colors.'

Once he approached the shed, he noticed two people already inside. One was a ginger boy around his age with a dark-grey suit, black gloves and boots, black goggles, and a dark red lighting symbol on his chest. The other was a girl with long blonde hair, tanned skin, and a dark-green suit with an exposed midriff and a bright green arrow logo. She also had a quiver full of arrows attached to her body and a bow next to her. The girl was unconscious, while the boy knelt over her, appearing to be checking on her.

Spider-Man: 'Is that...Kid Flash?' (shakes his head) 'It can't be. He wears yellow and red, not black. And who's the girl? Some kind of Green Arrow copycat or something? One way to find out, I guess.'

He jumped onto the roof of the shed, where there was a large hole. He slowly crawled through the hole and landed behind the boy, who quickly turned around with a jump when he heard the thud Spider-Man made.

Kid Flash: Woah! Who are you?

Spider-Man: I'm Spider-Man.

Kid Flash: No way. I've seen Spider-Man on TV. He never wears black.

Spider-Man: You're one to talk, Kid Flash. What, yellow not your color anymore?

He gestures to Kid Flash's suit.

Kid Flash: Yeah, I'm kinda confused about that as well.

Spider-Man: Who's the girl?

Kid Flash: (shrugs) I dunno

He looked down at the unconscious girl and started gently shaking her.

Kid Flash: Hey, beautiful. Wake up.

The girl started groaning as she opened her eyes. She held her head and sat up before noticing Spider-Man and Kid Flash in front of her, the latter sporting a dumb smile on his face. She gasped before grabbing her bow and quickly backing up to the wall behind her and getting up to her feet.

Kid Flash: Hey, it's okay. It's okay. We won't hurt you. We're the good guys. You know, Kid Flash and Spider-Man.

The girl narrowed her eyes at the two.

Artemis: Seen Kid Flash and Spider-Man on the news. Neither of them wears black.

Spider-Man: Yeah, we usually don't. Which makes this a bit weird, I guess. What about you? Some kinda Green Arrow cosplayer?

Artemis looked down and noticed her uniform.

Artemis: Who put me in this?!

Spider-Man: (raises his hands) Hey, don't look at us.

Kid Flash: Wow, I am not touching that with a ten-foot, uh...

He heard Spider-Man clear his throat, so he looked at him and saw the webhead narrowing his eye lenses at him. He awkwardly scratched the back of his head before looking back at Artemis.

Kid Flash: So, uh...Do you know how to use that bow?

Artemis: Yeah. My dad taught me.

She then had a look of realization on her face.

Artemis: Dad! (glared at her bow) He must have done this. Another of his stupid tests.

Kid Flash: What kind of test?

Artemis: He probably wants me to kill you two.

Kid Flash and Spider-Man widened their eyes in shock.

Spider-Man: ¿Cómo?

Suddenly, his Spider-Sense started blaring.

Spider-Man: We gotta go. Now!

Artemis: Why?

They then heard a whistling sound coming from above them. Kid Flash immediately took Artemis' hand and ran out of the shed, and Spider-Man ran with them before the shed exploded behind them, sending them to the ground.

The three looked behind them and saw three tanks approaching them in the distance and two Humvees, both equipped with roof-mounted machine guns, barreling towards them. The three immediately got up and ran away.

Soldier 1: [Arabic] <Don't let them escape!>

The Humvees opened fire at the trio, who managed to evade the bullets. Spider-Man dug out a mechanical five-petaled device and examined it closely.

Spider-Man: What is this? I never made it.

Artemis: Who cares?! Just throw it!

Spider-Man threw the device backward, and it landed in front of one of the Humvees. Suddenly, the device activated, and the Humvee started levitating off the ground as if there was no gravity. As it levitated, it started leaning forward.

Soldier 2: [Arabic] <What is happening?>

Soldier 3: [Arabic] <Get out! Now!>

The three soldiers jumped out of the Humvee just before it started falling. It landed engine-first and rolled four times before stopping, now being completely totaled.

Kid Flash: Whoa! Didn't know you had that in your locker!

Spider-Man: That makes both of us!

Artemis took out an arrow and turned around before shooting at the remaining Humvee. The arrow hit the ground below the armored car and exploded, sending it flying over them before crashing.

Both Kid Flash and Spider-Man noticed two more Humvees approaching them and Artemis nocking another arrow.

Kid Arrow: (to Spider-Man) I'll grab her! Go!

Spider-Man nodded before shooting two web lines at the canyon walls and pulling himself back. He then slingshotted himself into the air and activated his web wings, allowing him to glide.

Kid Flash, on the other hand, lowered his goggles over his eyes and sped towards Artemis, grabbing her and carrying her bridal style before speeding away just before the tanks fired at them.

Kid Flash: Sorry. They've got bigger arrows.

He managed to avoid the incoming tank shells before getting away and catching up with Spider-Man, who was still gliding above them.

Spider-Man: You alright?

Artemis: Yeah. Thanks.

Kid Flash: Hey, I told you. Good guy. Now, uh, not to pry, but, uh, what's your name?

Spider-Man: Also, what'd you mean by someone wanting you to kill us?

Kid Flash: Yeah, that too.

------------------------------

Meanwhile, Miss Martian was flying across the desert while holding on to Spider-Woman, who saw that Miss Martian had a smile on her face.

Spider-Woman: What's got you smiling like that?

Miss Martian: Oh, it's just...I can't believe I'm actually on Earth. I've wanted this for so long, even if it's not exactly like TV.

Spider-Woman: Wait, you got TV on Mars?

Miss Martian: We have our own version of it, yeah.

Spider-Woman: Huh.

Miss Martian's smile faded quickly.

Miss Martian: But why can't I remember how I got here?

Spider-Woman: (sighs) I wish I could tell, M'gann. But I'm just as clueless as you are.

Miss Martian: Wait...I have an idea.

She and Spider-Woman landed on top of a sand dune. Miss Martian sat on the ground with her legs crossed.

Miss Martian: Sit down and close your eyes.

Spider-Woman: Why?

Miss Martian: I want to see if there's anything I can remember, even if it's just fragments. I'll establish a telepathic link between the two of us and transmit what I find.

Spider-Woman: You sure that'll work?

Miss Martian: One way to find out, right?

Spider-Woman sat down in front of Miss Martian with her legs crossed and closed her eyes, while Miss Martian closed her eyes as well. After a few seconds, Miss Martian opened her eyes, which were glowing white.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From Miss Martian's perspective, she saw Superboy ripping off his black T-shirt before Valeria kicked her away several feet.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Miss Martian saw Spider-Man, revealing his Caucasian skin, medium-length brown hair, and green eyes. He was inserting small cylindrical vials into his web shooters while giving Miss Martian a concerned look.

???: Good idea. Go.

Nathan: Just be careful, alright?

???: Don't worry, hermano.

Miss Martian turned around and saw Valeria sporting a grin on her face, while Superboy stood on a large device of some kind.

Valeria: We'll be alright.

She looked at Superboy, who was looking back at her with a concerned expression, and gave him a soft smile before putting her mask on.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back at the Cave, M'gann saw Nathan, with his standard suit minus the mask, placing a tray of burrito-like food with a green substance covering them on the counter.
M'gann: What's that, Nathan?
Nathan: Oh, it's a Rodriguez family recipe. Chimichangas with minced beef, guacamole, and green pepper. A little Mexican delight. Wanna try one?
M'gann grabbed a chimichanga and took a bite.
M'gann: Oh!
Nathan: How is it?
M'gann: A bit spicy, but...it's great!
This brought a smile to Nathan's face.
Nathan: I'm glad you like it. My mom used to make these when I was a kid. I was obsessed with those.
M'gann: I can see why.
???: Those look good.
M'gann turned around and saw Superboy and Valeria, both in their uniforms and the latter in her own standard suit minus the mask, approaching them.
Valeria: That they do, Superboy. What made you decide to make these, Nate? If I remember, you kinda never ate a chimichanga ever since Mom died.
M'gann looked back at Nathan, who was smiling at her.
Nathan: Yeah, well, I figured I ought to bring it back.
Valeria: I bet.
M'gann noticed Valeria glancing between her and Nathan with a smirk on her face before seeing Superboy reach for a chimichanga.
M'gann: Careful, Superboy, they're hot.
Superboy took a chimichanga and was about to bite into it before Kid Flash, in his own standard suit, appeared and took it off his hand.
Kid Flash: (to M'gann) Not as hot as you, babe.
He quickly devoured the chimichanga as Nathan and Valeria rolled their eyes while Superboy glared at him before grabbing another chimichanga.
M'gann: Thanks, Wally. That's, uh, sweet.
Kid Flash: Not as sweet as you, sugar.
Valeria quickly jabbed a finger into Kid Flash's ribs, shocking him with her Venom.
Kid Flash: OW! What the—
Just then, Artemis and Robin walked into the kitchen.
Artemis: Oh, grow up.
She smacked Kid Flash upside the head before grabbing a chimichanga.
Artemis: Did you make this, M'gann?
M'gann: No, Nathan did.
Artemis raised her eyebrows before looking at Nathan, who leaned on the counter with his arms crossed.
Nathan: What?
Artemis: (smirks) Nothing. I just thought you'd set the whole kitchen on fire or something.
Nathan: Oh, ha-ha. Very funny, Arty. Ever thought about doing stand-up?
Artemis rolled her eyes, but suddenly Batman's voice was heard on the Cave's speaker system.
Batman: Team, report to the mission room.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Spider-Woman's eyes shot open as Miss Martian's eyes stopped glowing, returning to their original auburn color.

Miss Martian: I'm on a team. I have friends.

Spider-Woman: Are we just gonna ignore the googly eyes you and this Nathan guy have been giving each other?

Miss Martian's face turned red as she tried to stammer an excuse.

Miss Martian: Uh—well...

Spider-Woman chuckled as she ran her hand through her face. What Miss Martian didn't see was that Spider-Woman was blushing under her mask.

Spider-Woman: That Superboy, though... (shakes her head) I need to find him. Uhh, we need to find them.

Miss Martian: Yep. Right.

She wrapped an arm around Spider-Woman's waist and flew up. She placed a hand on the side of her head, attempting to contact anyone with her telepathic abilities.

Miss Martian: 'Hello? Um, team?'

Spider-Woman: Really?

Miss Martian: Worth a shot. They might just be out of my range.

Spider-Woman: You know what? Keep trying. Let me know if you get something.

Miss Martian nodded as she continued flying across the desert while carrying Spider-Woman.

------------------------------

In another part of the desert, Kid Flash stopped running and lowered Artemis to the ground while Spider-Man stopped gliding and landed on top of a small cliff. Spider-Man and Artemis saw Kid Flash put his hands on his knees while breathing heavily.

Spider-Man: You alright?

Kid Flash: Sorry. Running on empty. Don't think I've eaten in a while.

He opened a small compartment on his right glove, and he saw that there was nothing inside.

Kid Flash: Been out here for over 24 hours, or my cupboards wouldn't be bare.

Spider-Man: Wait.

Kid Flash looked up and saw Spider-Man digging into his pockets before taking something out. He jumped off the cliff and landed in between Kid Flash and Artemis.

Spider-Man: Here.

He held out an energy bar, which Kid Flash immediately took before starting to devour it.

Kid Flash: Thanks.

Spider-Man: Don't mention it.

Artemis: Why do you even have that?

Spider-Man: It's not exactly common knowledge, but swinging around New York City all day can be exhausting.

Suddenly, his Spider-Sense blared.

Spider-Man: MOVE!

He pushed Kid Flash and Artemis away and dove out of the way before Superboy landed where they stood. Superboy growled before smacking Kid Flash into the cliff face.

He then turned to Artemis and started rushing towards her, but she leaped backward and started shooting explosive arrows, which did nearly zero damage as Superboy continued to approach her.

Suddenly, two web lines were attached to Superboy's forearms before they were pulled back, halting Superboy's movements. The Kryptonian looked behind him and saw Spider-Man pulling his arms back while his Spider-Arms were extended from his back and impaled into the ground for extra leverage. Superboy growled before throwing his arms forward, forcing Spider-Man to fly towards him before grabbing his throat and choke-slamming him down to the ground.

Superboy growled as he squeezed Spider-Man's throat. The webhead's left fist started charging up with Venom before he threw it at Superboy, punching him in the face hard enough to send him back, releasing Spider-Man, who coughed as he sat up. Superboy let out an angry roar just as a tank shell landed on him, exploding on impact.

------------------------------

While being carried by Miss Martian, Spider-Woman held her head in pain as her Spider-Sense blared loudly. Miss Martian noticed this and stopped flying.

Miss Martian: Valeria? What's wrong?

Spider-Woman groaned as her Spider-Sense continued blaring loudly. Suddenly, she saw a glimpse of Superboy crying out in pain as he was caught in an explosion, which made her gasp.

Spider-Woman: It's Superboy! He's in trouble!

She then noticed a pillar of black smoke in the distance.

Spider-Woman: There! Follow the smoke!

Miss Martian immediately flew towards the smoke.

------------------------------

Spider-Man slowly sat up and noticed two tanks approaching them. He started to take a three-point stance before noticing Superboy leaping toward the tanks.

Superboy landed on one of the tanks and ripped off its main gun barrel with his bare hands before tossing it away. A soldier stood on the top hatch and shot at Superboy with his assault rifle, but the bullets bounced off his skin, doing no damage whatsoever. He lunged at the soldier, crushed the barrel of his rifle, and pulled it out of his hands before tossing him out of the tank.

He then ripped off the turret of the tank and tossed it away before getting shot by the other tank and sent flying into a sand dune. He then leaped towards the tank and started attacking it while Kid Flash, Artemis, and Spider-Man watched.

Artemis: Whose side is he on?

Kid Flash: You wanna stick around and find out?

Spider-Man: Nope.

He slingshotted himself away from the action while Kid Flash carried Artemis and ran after him. However, he tripped over a rock sticking out of the sand, causing him and Artemis to tumble down the base of the dune while Spider-Man glided over them.

Spider-Man looked down and saw Kid Flash and Artemis before his Spider-Sense blared. He looked ahead and saw three UAVs with machine guns on the wings. Two of them shot at Kid Flash and Artemis, who dove into the ground and avoided the bullets, while the third flew directly toward Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Oh, come on!

He did a barrel roll to avoid the gunfire from the UAV before lifting up to glide over it. Unfortunately, the jet wash from the UAV caused Spider-Man to lose control and crash land onto the ground next to Kid Flash and Artemis.

Spider-Man groaned as Kid Flash ran up to him and helped him sit up before seeing the three UAVs turning around and flying toward them. Artemis took out an explosive arrow and aimed at the UAVs before...

Miss Martian: 'Don't worry, we're almost there.'

Artemis was caught off guard by the voice in her head, causing her to let go of the arrow and miss the UAVs completely.

Artemis: Did you just hear a girl talking in your head?

Kid Flash: Girls are always on my mind, but they're not usually talking.

Spider-Man: Glad to know I'm not going crazy, then. And who's "we?"

Then they saw Miss Martian flying behind the UAVs. She clapped her hands together, using her telekinesis to force two of them to fly into each other, making them explode while the third UAV turned left to avoid the resulting explosion.

Just then, Spider-Woman was gliding towards the UAV. She pulled up and retracted her web wings, making her fly just above the UAV, before taking out her stingers and slicing its wings off. She redeployed her web wings and continued gliding as the UAV crashed into a sand dune, exploding on impact.

Spider-Woman and Miss Martian landed right in front of Spider-Man, Kid Flash, and Artemis.

Kid Flash: Well, J'onn, the costume looks familiar, but I'm not sure the new bod screams "Manhunter."

Miss Martian: You know my uncle J'onn? Hello, Megan, of course you do. You're Kid Flash. Wally. (turns to Artemis) And you're Artemis. (turns to Spider-Man) And you're Spider-Man. Nathan.

Spider-Man smacked his forehead and groaned.

Kid Flash: Wait, wait, wait. Martian Manhunter's your uncle? Is that how you know my name?

Artemis: Your name is really Wally? (turns to Spider-Man) And yours is Nathan? Why didn't you just say that?

Kid Flash sighed as he slumped his shoulders.

Spider-Man: Well, I don't usually go around advertising it. Kinda beats the whole "anonymous superhero" thing. (turns to Spider-Woman) Also, who're you? I don't remember knowing another spider person.

Spider-Woman: Well, I was kinda hoping you'd tell me.

She took off her mask, revealing her face. This caused Spider-Man to widen his eyes in surprise.

Spider-Man: What the heck?! Why do you look like me?

Valeria: I'm your twin sister, I guess.

Spider-Man: No, you're not. I'm an only child. I'd think I'd remember having a twin.

Miss Martian: It's okay. We're teammates, friends. (turns to Spider-Man) You made us chimichangas, the ones your mom used to make. Minced beef, guacamole, and green pepper?

Spider-Man: How do you even—? I never had these ever since she died, let alone make them.

Valeria: Which makes it more special that you made it for us.

Miss Martian looked down to hide the blush on her face.

Artemis: (to Kid Flash & Spider-Man) You know them?

Spider-Man: I don't even know anymore.

Kid Flash: No, I swear, beautiful. Never seen them before in my life. At least, not that I...

Valeria: (sighs) You guys lost your memories too.

Spider-Man took off his mask, revealing his face, and pinched the bridge of his nose.

Nathan: What even happened? How did we even end up here?

They then noticed Humvees driving towards a pillar of black smoke in the distance.

Miss Martian: Come on. Valeria and I'll fill you in as we go. Robin and Superboy need our help.

She walked away, and Artemis followed. Nathan and Valeria put their masks back on before following them, and Kid Flash started walking with them.

Kid Flash: Of course. Robin and Super...what now?

------------------------------

In another part of the desert, Superboy had both his arms tied up with ropes that were being pulled by multiple Bialyan soldiers, restraining him. Unfortunately, they weren't able to do much against Superboy's strength as he started pulling the soldiers towards him.

Meanwhile, a lone Bialyan soldier stood by as a robed man with pale skin and red marks on his face approached him from behind.

Soldier: You must control his mind!

The man extended a hand towards Superboy.

Man: Doesn't seem to be much mind in there left to control, but...Be still.

At the man's command, Superboy stopped pulling the soldiers towards him and fell unconscious. He was then dragged into a truck by two Bialyan soldiers as the man smirked. Once Superboy was loaded into the truck, the soldiers boarded their Humvees and drove away.

Unbeknownst to anyone, an unconscious Aqualad, with his suit in stealth mode, was lying hidden behind a large rock.

------------------------------

As nighttime arrived, Robin was running in the desert, using his Hologlove to follow a GPS marker. He woke up earlier with no memory of the past 6 months, so he figured that whatever that marker leads to may help.

Robin: Wish I could remember why I put a GPS marker here.

As he reached the top of a sand dune, he saw a large device of some kind at the bottom. He immediately dropped down and took cover.

Robin: Huh. Guessing that's why.

He peeked over the dune and observed the area. He narrowed his eyes before jumping out of cover and landing in front of the device. Suddenly, multiple Bialyan soldiers emerged from the sand and aimed their rifles at Robin.

Soldier 1: [Arabic] <Her Majesty wants him alive!>

The soldiers charged at Robin, but he dropped a smoke bomb, blinding them. While the soldiers coughed while being unable to see through the smoke, Robin started knocking down the soldiers, even tying them up with his birdarangs.

However, the soldiers managed to recover quickly.

Soldier 2: [Arabic] <Enough! Open fire!>

The soldiers immediately began shooting at Robin, who flipped around to avoid the gunfire. Suddenly, Kid Flash sped in and disarmed the soldiers.

Kid Flash: I'll hold that. Thanks.

He dropped the rifles and started fighting the soldiers alongside Robin. One of them pulled out a handgun, but it was immediately pulled out of his hands by a web from an invisible Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: Nope. Sorry. That's cheating.

The soldier looked around, looking for the source of the voice, only to see Spider-Man appear in front of him and jab a Venom-charged finger into his neck, knocking him out.

One soldier attempted to run at Spider-Man, but Spider-Woman pulled him off the ground before wrapping him up in a web cocoon.

Kid Flash, Robin, Spider-Man, and Spider-Woman turned around to see two more soldiers behind them, but they were knocked back by an unknown force. They looked back and saw Miss Martian's invisible silhouette hovering above them before turning visible.

Spider-Man: Thanks, Miss M.

They saw the last remaining soldier running away, only for an arrow to fly towards him before tying him up. They turned around and saw Artemis standing on top of a dune with her bow in hand. She lowered her bow and smirked as she walked down while Robin and Kid Flash dapped each other up.

Robin: KF! Man, it's good to see a familiar face.

Kid Flash: Hey, Rob. Memory loss?

Robin: Six months!

Spider-Man: Glad to know I'm not the only one who figured that out.

Robin saw Spider-Man and his eyes immediately widened in surprise.

Robin: Spider-Man? What are you doing this far away from New York? (turns to Spider-Woman) And since when did you get a partner?

Spider-Man: It's a long story. Let's just tie those guys up and compare notes.

Robin: Good idea.

------------------------------

After tying up the unconscious Bialyan soldiers, the Team stood in front of Miss Martian and Spider-Woman as they told them what they knew.

Robin: So we're a team?

Spider-Man: But we're not in the Justice League.

Miss Martian: The six of us and Superboy. And no, we're kind of our own thing.

Robin: Then this must be his.

He held up a black piece of torn cloth that contained a red Superman logo. Spider-Woman gently took it from Robin and examined it in her hands.

Spider-Woman: Yes. That's his. Did any of you see him?

Artemis: (turns to Spider-Man and Kid Flash) I think we did.

Kid Flash: Feral boy? Some teammate. He attacked us.

Spider-Man: My throat wholeheartedly agrees.

Artemis: He didn't know who we are. I don't know who we are.

Robin: I remember Batman ordering radio silence. Our team must work for him.

Kid Flash: How do you know we don't work for my mentor?

He pressed his finger against his own chest, and suddenly, his suit colors changed to the standard yellow and red.

Kid Flash: Woah.

He pressed the emblem on his chest again, reverting back to his stealth colors.

Kid Flash: This is so cool.

Everyone pressed the logos on their chest, but the only one whose suit was changing colors was Kid Flash.

Spider-Man: Why isn't mine doing that?

Spider-Woman: Maybe because this is a whole different suit.

Spider-Man: Probably.

Artemis: We look ridiculous.

She looked at Kid Flash and saw that he was still switching between his standard colors and his stealth colors.

Artemis: Quit touching yourself!

Spider-Man snickered, and Artemis blushed when she noticed her phrasing.

Artemis: Not a word!

Spider-Man stopped snickering, and Spider-Woman started to fiddle with her fingers.

Artemis: (scoffs) We need our memories back.

While Miss Martian figured out a way to return their memories, she accidentally heard Spider-Woman's thoughts.

Spider-Woman: 'I need them so I can find Superboy.'

Miss Martian glanced at Spider-Woman before putting her hands on her head and her eyes glowed.

------------------------------

The Team suddenly found them in a peculiar landscape, surrounded by shards that played certain fragments of memories.

Spider-Man: What the...

Suddenly, they saw Miss Martian appear in front of them with her hood up.

Miss Martian: I've brought you into my mind to share what I've remembered so far, but I need your help. Together, our broken memories can form a whole if you open your minds to mine.

While Miss Martian was talking, he noticed a shard play a memory. He managed to see himself and Miss Martian, both in civilian clothing, in what looked like a skating rink. They were smiling and laughing, which caused Spider-Man to smile a bit under his mask.

Artemis: You wanna paw through our private thoughts?

Miss Martian: (raises her hands) I have no wish to intrude, but...

Robin: You need to hack our minds to grok what happened to us, got it. Go.

Spider-Woman: Go for it. The sooner, the better.

Kid Flash: My brain's all yours. Try not to let its brilliance overwhelm you.

Robin: Or underwhelm you. Hey, why isn't anyone ever just whelmed?

Miss Martian looked down as she seemed hesitant, but she gasped in surprise when she held a hand holding hers. She looked up and saw Spider-Man holding her hand and rubbing his thumb over her knuckles.

Spider-Man: It's okay.

Miss Martian: You trust me? You don't even remember me yet.

Spider-Man: You're right. But somehow, trusting you just feels right to me.

This made Miss Martian smile softly.

While that was happening, Kid Flash held Artemis' hand, which made her look at him. He gave her a comforting smile before Artemis looked back at Miss Martian.

Artemis: Last six months only. And only what you need.

Miss Martian nodded before closing her eyes and extending her arms. Suddenly, five hand-like constructs appeared and grabbed each of the Team's heads. The second they did, they saw glimpses of their memories flash before them.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Back in the Cave, the Team were being briefed by Batman, who stood next to a holographic map of the Arabian Peninsula, and a red ping a few miles east of it.
Batman: The Watchtower detected an immense power surge in the Bialyan desert. Spectral analysis revealed elements non-terrestrial in origin. Find out what happened at that site. Bialya is a rogue state ruled by Queen Bee...
The hologram changed to an image of a dark-skinned, long-haired woman wearing elegant clothing.
Batman: And not a member of the League's U.N. charter.
Spider-Man: So this op is unsanctioned.
Batman: Exactly. All communications are subject to interception. Maintain radio silence at all times. You'll land in Qurac, on Bialya's border, two klicks from the hot zone.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

From Robin's perspective, he lowered his binoculars and looked to his right. He saw Miss Martian Artemis, and the Spiders standing by, while Superboy was coming out of the Bioship carrying the large device on his back.

Robin: All clear.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From Spider-Man's perspective, he, Robin, and Artemis crawled to the top of a sand dune and saw a large tent surrounded by military vehicles and armed personnel.
Artemis: The Bialyans control the site.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Aqualad: Set up here.

From Spider-Woman's perspective, Superboy lowered the device he was carrying to the ground and turned a dial. Once he did, several compartments opened, revealing several pieces of equipment and a holographic computer on the side.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Robin typed on the computer, while Kid Flash stood behind him. Nathan and Valeria were unmasked as they were stocking up with web fluid and other gadgets, while Artemis watched them.
Robin: We'll be up and running in no time.
Kid Flash: Jackpot! This site's lousy with Zeta-Beam radiation.
Nathan: Which means that something was teleported here.
Robin: Detecting non-terrestrial elements from the tent.
Miss Martian: I'll check it out in camouflage mode.
Nathan looked at Miss Martian worriedly.
Nathan: Camouflage doesn't mean "completely invisible." If you get caught in there...
Valeria: I'll go with her.
Now Superboy looked at Valeria with a worried expression.
Valeria: Another set of eyes always helps. Besides, if things go sideways, I can handle the soldiers.
Nathan seemed to relax.
Superboy: You sure?
Valeria: Yeah.
Aqualad: Good idea. Go.
Nathan: Just be careful, alright?
Valeria: (grins) Don't worry, hermano. We'll be alright.
She looked at Superboy, who was looking back at her with a concerned expression, and gave him a soft smile before putting her mask on. Miss Martian looked at Nathan, who smiled a bit before putting his mask on.
Aqualad: Nevertheless, maintain telepathic contact.
Miss Martian: We will, Aqualad.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Everyone immediately opened their eyes with a gasp once they realized they were forgetting someone.

Everyone: Aqualad!

Robin: Where is he? What happened next?

Miss Martian: I don't know. That's the last thing I...We remember.

Artemis and Kid Flash noticed that they were still holding hands, so they immediately let go and looked away from each other, which didn't go unnoticed by the Spiders.

Kid Flash: Uh, we landed 24 hours ago. If Kaldur's been wandering the desert that long, well...That's not good for a guy with gills.

Spider-Man: We need to find him. Fast.

Robin: We can definitely do that, now that I know to look for him.

He activated his Hologlove, revealing a map with a ping.

Robin: He's close, but he's not moving.

------------------------------

Inside the large tent at a military campsite, a group of scientists were experimenting on a sphere that was rotating on its own while being restrained by a contraption, while another pair was electrocuting Superboy, who screamed in pain as he was being restrained. After a few seconds, the shocks stopped, allowing Superboy to start recovering.

Scientist: Raise to shock level four.

The other scientist typed into the keyboard, and Superboy began screaming again as he was being electrocuted.

Suddenly, the sphere started screeching and creaking as if it were reacting to Superboy's pain. This caused the scientists to stop what they were doing while the hooded pale-skinned man smirked at the sight.

Man: Fascinating.

------------------------------

In another part of the desert, the Team managed to find Aqualad. However, he was barely conscious as he was muttering in his native language.

Aqualad: [Atlantean] <Tula, please...I still love you...>

Spider-Man raised an eyebrow. He had been learning Atlantean ever since the mission to Santa Prisca, so he knows a fair bit of the language. The two words that he caught were "Tula" and "love." He figured that this Tula must be his ex or something but decided not to say anything about it.

Miss Martian: I can't restore his memories in this condition.

Robin: He needs immediate rehydration. Call the Bioship.

Miss Martian: It's out of range.

Spider-Woman: (to Kid Flash) You can run with him there.

Kid Flash: He's too heavy, and I'm too low on fuel. (gestures to Artemis) Right now, I couldn't even carry her.

Artemis scoffed and smacked Kid Flash's arm before asking Spider-Woman.

Artemis: You have super strength. Why not carry him back yourself?

Spider-Woman: I can't do that. I have to find Superboy. He can't remember anything from the last six months because he didn't even exist. He's just acting on animal instinct. I can't leave him.

Robin: Why aren't you being feral as well? You didn't even exist at the time, either.

Spider-Man: The difference is Valeria was cloned from me and another human. Maybe it's his Kryptonian DNA that makes Superboy like that. Besides, he can handle himself just fine.

Kid Flash: Spidey's right. Superboy's indestructible. Just ask those tanks. It's Aqualad who needs your help. Like, now.

Suddenly, Spider-Woman held her head in pain as her Spider-Sense blared loudly. She saw a glimpse of Superboy being tortured before the Spider-Sense stopped.

Spider-Woman: I can't! Superboy's getting hurt right now! I have to help him!

Miss Martian: I'm coming with you.

Everyone looked at Miss Martian in surprise.

Miss Martian: I'm the only one who can restore his memories. You'll need me.

Robin: No! We still need you to restore Kaldur's memories.

Spider-Man: We'll divide and conquer.

Everyone looked at Spider-Man, who lifted Aqualad off the ground and threw him over his shoulder like a sack of flour.

Spider-Man: M'gann and Valeria will go get Superboy, and the rest of us will get Kaldur to the Bioship.

Kid Flash: Are you kidding me?! Why?

Spider-Man: Because I trust that they'll be able to handle themselves.

He looked at Miss Martian and Spider-Woman. Miss Martian gave him a grateful smile, while Spider-Woman nodded.

Miss Martian: Thank you, Nathan. We'll get back before you know it.

Spider-Man: You better. Chances are, you'll run into a lot of soldiers, plus whatever it is that wiped our memories in the first place.

Spider-Woman: Don't worry about us, hermano. We'll manage.

She wrapped an arm around Miss Martian's shoulder and Miss Martian flew up while carrying her.

Artemis: (to Spider-Man) You sure this was a good idea?

Spider-Man: I am. Come on. We need to get Kaldur to the Bioship.

He walked away while carrying Kaldur, and Kid Flash, Artemis, and Robin followed him.

------------------------------

With Spider-Woman's guidance, Miss Martian was able to locate the military tent that they found before their memories were wiped. They immediately turned invisible as Miss Martian established a telepathic link between herself and Spider-Woman.

The two were able to get past the guards undetected and enter the tent. They saw the scientists experimenting on a large sphere on one side, and torturing Superboy on the other.

Spider-Woman: 'I got Superboy. You try and figure out what those guys were doing with that ball.'

Miss Martian: 'On it.'

Spider-Woman tiptoed to the other side of the tent and used her Venom to knock out the scientists electrocuting Superboy. She went to the console and tapped on the screen to shut down the machine that Superboy was strapped to. Spider-Woman sighed in relief as she stared at Superboy's unconscious body.

Spider-Woman: 'Looks like they were trying to do to him what the Shadows did to me.'

Miss Martian: 'You think it worked?'

Spider-Woman: 'Let's hope not. Neither of us is equipped to fight a brainwashed Kryptonian. What about you? You find anything about that ball?'

On the other side of the tent, Miss Martian was examining the sphere, which was still screeching and creaking as it spun in the harness it was trapped in.

Miss Martian: 'It's alive. It's begging for them to stop.'

Spider-Woman: 'That thing is sentient? What the heck is that thing?'

Miss Martian: 'I don't—'

???: Well...

Miss Martian quickly turned around and saw the robed man looking right at her, despite her invisibility.

Psimon: Someone's a glutton for punishment. Psimon says...

He lowered his head, revealing the transparent top of his bald head, showing his brain through it.

Psimon: 'Forget.'

------------------------------

Miss Martian immediately held her head in pain and closed her eyes. Once the pain stopped, she lowered her hands and opened her eyes, only to find herself in some peculiar landscape that contained fragmented pieces of the Cave in Mount Justice and the interior of the Bioship.

???: That's it...

She turned around and saw a bright light gradually shining brighter behind her.

???: Forget like before.

She shielded her eyes from the blinding light.

Miss Martian: 'Before...'

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From Miss Martian's perspective, she slowly levitated towards the entrance of the tent, where two guards were standing guard. Suddenly, the guard on the left was zapped unconscious while the other was quickly wrapped in a web cocoon.
Spider-Woman: 'Clear.'
Miss Martian slowly entered the tent, and Spider-Woman followed behind her. They both saw a group of scientists and soldiers surrounding the trapped sphere.
Miss Martian: 'We're in.'
Aqualad: 'Good. But tread carefully. Like Nathan said, camouflage is not invisible.'
Spider-Woman: 'Copy that.'
Miss Martian hovered a few feet off the ground and observed the sphere, while she noticed Spider-Woman's invisible figure approaching a computer.
Miss Martian: 'They're testing something.'
The sphere started spinning as it screeched.
Miss Martian: 'But it's alive. In pain.'
Spider-Woman: 'Can you talk to it?'
Miss Martian: 'I'll try.' (to the sphere) 'Hello? Can you hear me?'
???: 'I can.'
Miss Martian started looking around frantically, looking for the source of the voice.
???: 'And an open mind is a dangerous thing.'
Spider-Woman: 'Who was that? How did they manage to hear you?'
Miss Martian: 'Someone's hacked our link.'
Spider-Man: 'What?! That shouldn't even be possible...Unless...'
Spider-Woman: 'Oh no.'
Artemis: 'What is it?'
Spider-Man & Spider-Woman: 'Worst case scenario.'
Miss Martian's eyes landed on a hooded Psimon, who had his hands on his head.
Psimon: 'Psimon can't see you. Psimon can't catch you.'
He lowered his hood and looked directly at Miss Martian.
Psimon: 'But Psimon can make you all FORGET!'
Miss Martian was blinded by a bright light.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Back with the rest of the Team, they all held her heads in pain as a loud ringing overtook them. They all walked in separate directions as they held their heads. Superboy immediately roared before jumping away.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Miss Martian opened her eyes with a gasp before noticing the white light surrounding her. She knew that if that light fully surrounded her, she'd forget everything she had managed to remember.
Miss Martian: 'No.'
She turned around and managed to force the light to disappear.
Miss Martian: I won't let it happen again.
When the light disappeared, Psimon's large head appeared in front of her.
Psimon: Not really your call, little girl.
A dark red beam appeared on Psimon's forehead before shooting Miss Martian in the chest, knocking her back.
------------------------------
Out in the desert, Spider-Man was still carrying an unconscious Aqualad over his shoulder. Robin was walking ahead while using his Hologlove to navigate them to the Bioship, while Kid Flash and Artemis walked behind. Suddenly, Spider-Man heard his Spider-Sense blare in his head.
Spider-Man: We got incoming.
Robin: Quick, over there.
They quickly hid behind a rock and Spider-Man gently placed Aqualad on the ground as two Humvees drove past them. They then heard Aqualad muttering something in Atlantean.
Aqualad: [Atlantean] <Tula...We can still be together in Atlantis...>
Spider-Man looked down at Aqualad. That was the second time Aqualad mentioned this Tula person.
Spider-Man: Easy, Kaldur. We'll be back home soon.
Robin peeked out of the rock and noticed a squad of Bialyan soldiers walking by before getting back into cover.
Robin: We can't risk a firefight with Aqualad KO'd like this.
Kid Flash: (sighs) It's not just him. I'm way out of juice.
Artemis: And I'm almost out of arrows.
Spider-Man looked at his wrists and saw a small blinking yellow light on his web shooters. He then patted his belt before sighing as he took out a single web bomb.
Spider-Man: My web shooters are almost empty, and I don't have any spares. I only have one web bomb left.
They all looked at Robin, only to find that he was nowhere in sight.
Spider-Man: You gotta be kidding me.
Kid Flash: I forgot how much I hate it when he does the ninja thing. (turns to Artemis) Hey. You never said why your dad would want you to—(clicks his tongue while doing the throat-slicing gesture)—me and Spidey?
Artemis: I got...confused by, uh, some old movie I saw the other night about a ninja girl whose ninja dad ordered her to kill her ninja boyfriend because he was from a rival ninja gang, and his inventor best friend tries to stop it by—
Kid Flash: (smirks) So, I'm the ninja boyfriend, huh?
Spider-Man: And I'm the inventor best friend. I'll take it.
Artemis widened her eyes when she realized what she said and immediately turned to face the speedster.
Artemis: Hey. Amnesia, remember? Completely forgot about how truly annoying you are.
Kid Flash: Oh, like you're the goddess of congeniality.
Spider-Man: Just put rings on each other's fingers already.
Both Kid Flash and Artemis glared at Spider-Man, both their faces beet red.
Spider-Man: You're fighting back and forth like you're wearing the things, anyway.
???: Yeesh. Get a room.
They turned around and saw Robin.
Robin: I might as well help Spidey with the wedding planning at this point.
Spider-Man: See? Even the Boy Wonder agrees.
Kid Flash: Shut up. (turns to Robin) Dude, where were you?
Robin: (smirks) Breaking radio silence.
They looked at the soldiers patrolling the area. Suddenly, they heard Robin's laughter from somewhere, so they immediately ran to check it out. A large plume of smoke appeared as the soldiers started coughing.
Spider-Man: Smart.
Robin: Thanks. Now that's our cue. Go!
Spider-Man quickly threw Aqualad over his shoulder as he, Robin, Kid Flash, and Artemis ran.
------------------------------
Back in the tent, Psimon and Miss Martian were still locked in their mental battle. But in the scientists' eyes, Psimon was simply staring into empty space with a grin on his face. None of them were able to see Miss Martian hovering in front of Psimon, or even Spider-Woman standing next to Superboy.
Spider-Woman: 'So that guy is the reason why we lost our memories. Maybe I can help M'gann somehow? Oh, what can I do in a mind battle?'
She looked around and saw Superboy, who was still unconscious.
Spider-Woman: 'Maybe I don't have to fight with her. I just need to cover her while she fights this Psimon dude. If I can somehow convince Superboy that I'm friendly...'
One of the scientists waved his hand in front of Psimon's face to get his attention, but he still stared at Miss Martian's invisible form.
Scientist 1: Mr. Psimon, are you alright?
Suddenly, several small objects started levitating on their own, much to everyone's surprise. Superboy woke up and noticed the floating objects before noticing an invisible figure to his right. Using his enhanced vision, he recognized Miss Martian and angrily growled before he heard another voice.
???: Superboy...
Superboy looked around frantically before noticing another invisible person standing directly in front of him. He recognized it as Spider-Woman. He was speaking so quietly that only Superboy could tell what she was saying thanks to his super-hearing.
Spider-Woman: (whispers) I don't know if you can hear me. I'm not sure if you even understand me if you do, but I have to try. The two invisible people in this tent, me and the other girl, we're on your side. Everyone else here is not. I'm letting you go, and we can take them down together.
She noticed Superboy's expression soften when he heard her voice before looking at the scientists. He started growling again before looking at Spider-Woman again and nodded.
Suddenly, everyone looked at the sphere as it started spinning rapidly until the harness restraining it broke, setting it free. Spider-Woman immediately tapped the screen, releasing Superboy.
Spider-Woman: NOW!
She jumped out of the way as the sphere collided with the machine Superboy was on, destroying it as Superboy jumped off it. Superboy lunged at Psimon and tried to punch him, but a dark red force field suddenly appeared and made him fly back towards Miss Martian. As Superboy was getting us, he had inadvertently made contact with Miss Martian and...
------------------------------
Suddenly, Superboy found himself in the mental landscape with Miss Martian and Psimon, who both noticed his sudden presence.
Miss Martian: You're here!
Psimon started laughing, which got Superboy and Miss Martian's attention.
Psimon: You sound so relieved. Is that mindless creature supposed to save your mind?
Miss Martian gently grabbed Superboy's face with her hands and turned his head to make him look at her.
Miss Martian: No. I save his.
She pressed her forehead against Superboy's, and then several memories played in his head.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He remembered the Gemomorphs feeding him knowledge in Cadmus before he was broken out by Aqualad, Kid Flash, and Robin.

Aqualad: We are trying to help you!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He remembered meeting Nathan Rollins for the first time in the Bioship, which was parked on the roof of Midtown High in New York
Superboy: Rollins?
Nathan: Yep. I take it you're Superboy.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He remembered fighting a Kobra-Venom-induced Mammoth before hearing someone lunging towards Spider-Man.

Superboy: Spidey, look out!

Spider-Man turned around, only to get tackled by the Prowler.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He remembered fighting AMAZO and getting absolutely rag-dolled around by the android.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He remembered confronting the Justice League after he, Aqualad, Robin, and Kid Flash broke out of Cadmus and defeated Dr. Desmond, who had injected himself with the Blockbuster formula.

Superboy: Get on board or get out of the way.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He remembered standing with Nathan and M'gann in Nathan's bedroom, having overheard Nathan telling M'gann about Howard.
Superboy: For what it's worth, I'm sorry, Nathan.
Nathan: Thanks.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He remembered first meeting Valeria after getting her out of Dr. Warren's lab. She stated that she had somehow inherited Nathan's memories when their Spider-Senses bounced off each other and created a feedback loop.

Valeria: You still have the scar...

She and Nathan pointed at a certain spot at the back of their heads at the same time.

Nathan & Valeria: Right here.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He remembered catching Valeria before she fell out of the cloning pod. She groaned as she opened her eyes, revealing her green irises, and looked into Superboy's blue ones.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He remembered the times when Superman practically avoided having to deal with him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The next set of memories that flashed through Superboy's brain was him neutralizing Professor Ojo, him and Spider-Man tag-teaming against Jackal, and him and Spider-Man punching Bane in Santa Prisca before it changed to Batman briefing the Team about the mission in Bialya.
Batman: The Watchtower detected an immense power surge in the Bialyan desert.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He remembered getting his memories, as well as the Team's, getting wiped by Psimon before each of them wandered off in separate directions into the desert.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He remembered attacking Spider-Woman and Miss Martian in a feral state. Spider-Woman had kicked Miss Martian out of harm's way before punching Superboy in the chest with a Venom-charged fist, sending him flying back.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The last memory that played in his head was of himself and Valeria sitting in the lounge of the Cave while watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. While he was attentively watching the movie, he felt a weight on his left shoulder. He looked over and saw Valeria resting her head on his shoulder with her eyes closed.

Superboy: You know there's a pillow next to you, right?

Valeria responded by snuggling more into Superboy's side. Superboy couldn't help but chuckle softly as he wrapped his left arm over Valeria's shoulders. He heard her heart beating against his chest.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Superboy leaned back from Miss Martian, having regained his memories. After a few seconds of silence, Superboy smirked.
Superboy: Kick his butt.
Miss Martian smiled a bit as Superboy disappeared, and then she diverted her attention back to Psimon.
Psimon: By all means. (laughs) Kick my psychic butt.
Miss Martian shot out a light blue beam from her forehead at Psimon.
------------------------------
Back in the real world, Superboy woke up and looked behind him to see Spider-Woman webbing up a group of scientists and wrapping them in a cocoon. She then looked at Superboy.
Spider-Woman: You still feral?
Superboy: (smirks) Not anymore, Val.
Spider-Woman chuckled as she and Superboy saw a pair of soldiers enter the tent. They were suddenly knocked away by the sphere, which spun to them and let out a series of beeps as if it was talking to them.
Superboy: Uh...Thanks?
The sphere beeped again as more soldiers entered the tent.
Spider-Woman: You take the left, I'll take the right.
Superboy: You got it.
They both lunged at the soldiers.
------------------------------
Back in the mental landscape, Miss Martian shot several light blue blasts at Psimon, who blocked them with a dark red force field. He shot a dark red beam at Miss Martian, but she created a sphere to shield herself before creating tendrils that were shot at Psimon.
Psimon shielded himself from the tendrils, but he suddenly saw Miss Martian flying towards him. He couldn't react quickly enough as she punched him in the jaw, sending him back.
Psimon then enlarged himself to the size of a building before shooting a dark red beam from his forehead at Miss Martian. She managed to evade the beam and split herself into multiple copies that surrounded Psimon's giant form.
Each copy of Miss Martian shot a light blue beam from their foreheads at Psimon, who yelled in pain. He curled himself up and spun around at a rapid pace, creating a gust of wind that knocked all of the Miss Martian copies back.
The original Miss Martian created a light blue shield on her right forearm that resembled a spider while all of her copies faded away. A bright light appeared from behind Psimon as he shot a beam at Miss Martian, who blocked it with her spider-shaped shield but was still knocked back.
------------------------------
Back in the real world, Superboy punched a few soldiers, while Spider-Woman sliced some of the other soldiers' weapons before kicking and punching them away. Superboy grabbed a soldier and threw him towards Spider-Woman, who clotheslined him before webbing him to the ground.
They then looked behind them and saw the scientists hovering above Miss Martian and Psimon before a green tornado formed around them and started sucking everything and everyone into it. Superboy dug his fingers into the ground while Spider-Woman stabbed her stingers into it in order to hang on. Spider-Woman looked at the tornado and got an idea.
Spider-Woman: (to Superboy) Stay here!
She didn't wait for a response as she jumped into the tornado and landed inside. She got up and grabbed Miss Martian's wrist.
Spider-Woman: M'gann!
------------------------------
In the mental landscape, Spider-Woman appeared next to Miss Martian while holding her hand. She noticed that Miss Martian had created a light blue bubble that was deflecting Psimon's dark red beam and a bright light was covering their surroundings.
Miss Martian: He's too strong.
Spider-Woman glanced at Psimon before looking at Miss Martian.
Spider-Woman: You're stronger than you think. And us Spiders are pretty dang stubborn. We got this.
She lifted her hand that was holding Miss Martian's wrist.
Miss Martian: (smiles) Yeah, we do.
They then glared at Psimon, who started to grit his teeth as he continued to fire his beam.
Miss Martian: Get. Out. Of. My. HEAD!
She and Spider-Woman thrust their joined hands forward, which created a light blue beam that easily overpowered Psimon's dark red beam. Once their beam hit Psimon, he screamed in pain as he was forced out of the mental landscape.
------------------------------
Psimon found himself back in the real world before he got sucked in by the green tornado, which grew big enough to destroy the entire military camp. Miss Martian collapsed, but she was caught by Spider-Woman as the tornado exploded, sending everything and everyone it sucked out into the desert.
Spider-Woman then looked at Miss Martian as she opened her eyes. She smirked under her mask before taking it off.
Valeria: You did good.
Miss Martian smiled softly as Superboy walked up to them.
Superboy: You girls alright?
Miss Martian: Yeah. We're okay.
They then heard a whirring sound approaching them. They looked ahead and saw the sphere rolling towards them before stopping in front of them and beeping. Superboy then looked at Miss Martian and Valeria with a dumb smile on his face.
Superboy: Can I keep it?
This caused Valeria to start laughing, and then Miss Martian joined in as well.
Qurac
September 5, 02:32 EEST
In the Bioship, Spider-Man, unmasked, sat next to the stretcher where Aqualad laid. The Atlantean has a tube stuck into his arm sending water into his veins with an IV bag. He was then joined by Artemis, who placed a wet towel on Aqualad's forehead.
Artemis: How is he?
Nathan: He's fine. Once we're back in Happy Harbor, he'll be feeling like a million bucks.
Artemis: (smiles) I'm glad.
Miss Martian: 'Hey, everybody. We got Superboy.'
Nathan's head perked up when he heard Miss Martian's voice.
Nathan: 'That's great. Is he still...'
------------------------------
Nathan: 'Y'know...feral?'
Out in the desert, Miss Martian was flying while carrying Superboy, while Spider-Woman glided alongside them with a web line attached to her chest and the sphere, which rolled underneath them.
Spider-Woman: 'Nope. He's back to normal.'
------------------------------
Spider-Woman: 'We're on our way back. How's Aqualad?'
Suddenly, Aqualad sat up and breathed heavily.
Aqualad: Who are you? And how did you get inside my head?
Artemis pushed Aqualad back down on the stretcher.
Nathan: 'He's A-OK. But, uh, Meg? I think you might've forgotten something.'
Miss Martian: 'Hello, Megan. Aqualad's memories.'
Kid Flash: 'Oh, man. I didn't get a souvenir from the mission.'
Spider-Woman: 'Don't worry about it, Wally. We got the souvenir thing covered.'
Nathan looked around and saw Robin, Artemis, Aqualad, and Kid Flash looking at him. Robin and Artemis were smirking, Kid Flash had a raised eyebrow, while Aqualad just looked confused.
Nathan: What?
Robin: "Meg"? Really?
Nathan felt himself blushing slightly.
Nathan: Shut up. All of you.
He walked off to another part of the Bioship.
Aqualad: (confused) I...didn't even say anything.
------------------------------
In an undisclosed location, Psimon stood before a row of holograms.
Psimon: The Martian girl escaped with both the Sphere and the Superboy. Arachne still eludes us.
???: That hardly matters. What matters is the successful test or our new partner's delivery system.
A screen appeared showing some recorded footage taken prior to the Team's intervention. The footage showed a squad of Bialyan soldiers standing by as a tube-shaped portal appeared in front of them, shooting the Sphere out of it.
???: More tech will come. Tech that will put the Sphere, and perhaps even both the Superboy and Arachne, to shame.
Psimon just smirked at the news he was hearing.
