"mama."

Strange, the house was oddly quiet as the child walked though the door, wiping her feet on the mat to keep the floors clean. Normally Lexi would be waiting for her, greeting her with a nice warm hug as she walked inside. It was their tradition at this point, so why is she not here?

"Mama?"

She quietly stepped out of her boots, carefully placing them by the door as she walked down the hall. Aside from the moonlight shining through the windows, it was almost pitch black. She could hardly make out the outline of her own feet, thidthis just wasn't right. Somthing was clearly wrong, she could feel it in her little heart. Every hair on her body was standing up, every breath she took started to become shakey, her heart was beating out of her chest. She couldn't understand though, what was making her feel this way? This fear wasn't the kind that makes you wanna hide under your sheets....no. This is the kind of fear that makes you wanna run, the kind that tells you to get as far away from danger as possible. But this is her home, there's nothing dangerous about home right?

Yeah

She's obviously shaken from walking through the woods, that's it. Why should she be worried, mom is always there to protect her. No matter what happens she always has Lexi, it's always been the two of them and that'll never change. Just the thought of her mother's embrace was enough to help her relax, at last she could finally breathe again. Clutching her best friend tightly to her chest, she happily creeped her way to the living room. Faintly she could hear the TV running, Lexi must be watching a rerun of the show. Afterall she could hear the sounds of a music box, the tune of pop goes the weasel ringing out. The lyrics were one of her favorites of all the songs the show played, alot of the times she found herself humming along whenever it could be heard.

A strange little rhyme, yet it was always so fun to sing. All the children loved gathering around the music box to sing along, if only she could've been there to witness it in person. She stood in the opening to the living room, about to make her grand appearance when...

"Get the hell away from me you monster!"

She could see her mother almost struggle to step backwards, hand gripping the couch as if she couldn't stand on her own. She could see the tear in the side of her nightgown, edges stained a bright red as opposed to the neon yellow fabric. Her eyes showed genuine fear, but Bunny was confused. Who was she yelling at, why was her mother bleeding, why does she look so afraid. Her eyes followed her mothers fear filled gaze to the other end of the couch, where a strange man stood. He was so...strange looking, in an almost eerie way. His hair was a mess of tangles and knots, in a very nice shade of brown in Bunny's eyes. Here and there she could see streaks and patches of silver, maybe he was older than her mom? From the skin that wasn't covered by clothes she could see he had plenty of scars, alot of which were oddly shaped and placed. His clothes were pretty...peculiar to say the least. His pants looked pretty fancy, kinda like uniform pants in a nice shade of blue. His shirt was black, and he had an strange pin on it. From this angle she couldn't really distantly read the letters, or even tell what logo it was. Though the badge wasn't her main focus, no. It was his eyes, that's what stood out the most to her. One was a very dull shade of blue, almost grayish and very foggy. The other was..

Like hers. A kind of blueish grey, there was no doubt about it that they shared a strong resemblance in color. It almost disturbed her, but she just couldn't tell why. Even the way he looked, the way he had this grin on his face just just made her feel uneasy. She cowered in the entrance, crouching down to the floor as to not be seen. Thankfully there was a small table that obscured his view of her, so she wasn't spotted easily. She could only watch in terror as the strange man approached Lexi, who continued to back away in terror as she tried not to trip over her own feet. By now the stain had spread even further across her yellow fabric, even threatening to start dripping down like a faucet. She could only push herself further back into the wall, heart threatening to burst with fear.

"Come on Lex, did you really think I wouldn't ever find out."

He had some sort of strange accent, though she didn't know what it was. His tone however, never had she heard someone sound so menacing yet speak so casually. Why....why was he here?

"Will p-please, stop it"

Will....his name is Will? Well who is this Will fellow, what does he want with her mother. She could suddenly see something shine in the moonlight, something that he held in his hands was reflecting the moonlight. A knife, why did he have a knife?! Her mind was racing, she just couldn't think straight anymore. The fear was overwhelming, it was as if someone was pressing into her chest preventing her from breathing properly. Eye eyes were burning, but no tears could fall. Her hands were quivering, legs threatening to shut down as she became paralyzed with fear. What could she do, she had to do somthing! She can't just stand here and watch her mother be hurt, she has to help..right!?

"Leave my mama alone!"

It was as if her body had reacted on it's own, as if she had no control over what just happened. She didn't mean to shout, but she just....oh god why did she do that of all things. Looking up, she could see that all eyes were on her, both Lexi's terror filled eyes and...Will's just set dead on her. It was like she was a deer in headlights, frozen in time as a truck raced towards it. She didn't know what to do, everything was just locked into place. Her whole body was frozen, she couldn't run. She couldn't leave her home, she couldn't leave her mom behind with this monster. She had managed to take a shakey step towards her mom, but why was unknown. Mom was her safe place, and they could leave together. Lexi however was horrified, this isn't what she wanted. She wanted her daughter to be safe, she wanted her to leave and go to safety.

"Bunny you have to go, n-no.."

She was cut off as her child was suddenly picked up by non other than the mysterious stranger himself. It was oddly gentle as he supported her with one arm, confusing Bunny even further.ย

"Aren't you cute"
