Hi guys.

I am back after over a week and am sorry for an inconvenience caused.

Happy belated new year to all of you and may this year be a fulfilling one for all of us.

Now back to the story.

Delhi.
Rathore Mansion.

Akash sat down with Payal and Khushi seriously discussing their business venture as Isha, Shashi and Buaji sat on the opposite side sipping on some tea.

"Shashi ji you must be so proud of your daughters. " Isha said and Shashi nodded and called at them.

"I am but I have to get them to marry soon. " Shashi said and Buaji shook her head and rolled her eyes at him as Isha looked on confused.

"Shashi I have warned you to stop this marriage nonsense...... Our girls don't need men to protect them. " Buaji exclaimed in anger and turned to Isha. "My brother's health hasn't been good in the past two years and he has been obsessed with getting the girls married because he wants to leave them in abled hands which is nonsense...... He has been hinting about it for months and each time it makes the girls uncomfortable...... Look at them. " Both stared in the direction of where the girls and Akash were sitting. "They are happy doing what they love and I trust them to make a good choice when it comes to marriage but stop trying to take advantage of their love for you to make them marry...... They might resent you someday if you don't. "

"Madhuji is right...... I have never seen such determined and successful self-made girls like them...... Shashi felt ashamed realizing his sister and Isha were right and he stared at her daughters who looked serious but contented and he smiled looking so proud of them.

Mami was aggressively taking off her jewelry and her face was scrunched in anger.

Manohar opened the door and Mami turned to throw a glare at him and Manohar sighed and walked up to Mami who was sitting in front of her dressing mirror.

He touched her but she shoved his hand off and stood up and was about to walk into that bathroom when Manohar held her hand and pulled her closer.

"Manu I know you are angry but you have to trust me. "

Mami was pissed hearing him and pushed him away making him stumble backward and Manohar looked at her shocked.

"You want me to trust you after you allowed that witch to stay here knowing her venomous tongue can hurt my son...... You don't love Arnav because if you did you won't have allowed her to stay." Manohar was hurt by her accusation and Mami noticed it but she didn't care because her sons came first. " I am warning you, Manohar, they won't be anyone worse than me if that which hurts my sons or granddaughter...... I will kill her and Anjali before they hurt them. " Mami cried out as tears streamed down her face and she walked away from him and into the bathroom.

"I understand your anger and fear but I had to let Sudhadra stay because it is better to keep our enemies closer........ Anjali is planning something I don't want her to catch us off guard. " Manohar thought and his phone rang and he received it.

"Billu..... I want you to come to the mansion and insert hidden cameras in two of the rooms and also I want you to hack the phones of two people...... I will send you all the details soon. "

The person on the other side responded and Manohar cut the call.

"Arnav has enough on his plate..... This is my chance to step up and protect and safeguard my family against evil. " Manohar whispered staring at his phone which had the family picture of Him, Anu, Mami, Akash, and Arnav that was taken on Anu's birthday.

He lifted his eyes from the phone and saw Mami standing with tears in her eyes she rushed up to him and hugged him apologizing for misunderstanding him.

Manohar broke the hug and smiled as he kissed her forehead.

"Arnav is about to unleash hell on them when he arrives. "

They both smirked knowing Arnav is about to unleash hell on Anjali and Subhadra and they will enjoy it.

AR.

Arnav's Office.

Anu was happily playing on her tablet sitting comfortably on the couch in Arnav's huge office.

Arnav was pissed hearing Anjali had invited Dadi into the mansion but he was pleased when Mohan the family driver brought Anu to the office on the instruction of Mami who called him pissed that his uncle had allowed Dadi to stay at RM.

Unlike Mami, Arnav understood why his uncle allowed Dadi to stay and he trusted him when he called him saying to leave Anjali and Dadi to him and he agreed but that doesn't mean he will let them go without unleashing his hell on them.

He felt someone tag her trousers and looked down to find Anu holding her tablet and staring at her in concern but she looked so adorable that Arnav scooped her up onto her lap and kissed her forehead.

"Arnie are you okay? " She asked in her babyish voice and Arnav nodded and kissed her cheek making her giggle.

Arnav heard a ping on his monitor and he turned on the screen to find Aman and some of the designers standing behind his door.

He zoomed in on them and saw Pihu standing nervously behind them and smiled widely which didn't go unnoticed by Anu as Arnav opened the door.

"That is Arnie's girlfriend and he didn't introduce me to her...... Very bad
" Anu thought and scrunched her nose which she always does when she is angry and Arnav looked confused seeing her changed expression.

Aman and the others entered and Pihu was amazed to see Anu on Arnav's lap and it looked like she was angry at him and he was trying to console her.

"Anu baby what did I do..... Come on speak to you Arnie. " Arnav said.

Anu ignored him and got off his lap and waddled up to Pihu and motioned her to bend down and she happily did.

"My name is Anupama Singh Raizada...... Arnie call me Anu baby and you can now call me Anu baby because he has lost his right to call me Anu baby. " She turned and glared at a stunned Arnav and back to Pihu with a smile.

Aman and the others giggled as they watched the exchange.

"Anu baby why are you angry at you Arnie? " Pihu asked and Anu turned and glared at Arnav and back to Pihu with a smile.

"I know you are my Arnie's girlfriend and am angry he didn't introduce me to you." Pihu and Arnav were shocked by her words and they both stared at her with widened eyes...." And do you know how I know? " Pihu shook her head " He was staring at you on the computer and his eyes twinkled and he smiled as he used his computer to make only you appear on it. "

Arnav looked embarrassed at being exposed by his niece and Aman and the others who had a suspicion about their relationship finally confirmed something was going on between them.

Pihu stared at Arnav who looked away and she smirked and turned to Anu.

"Don't be angry at your Arnie..... I was the one who didn't want him to tell you about me. " Anu gasped in shock hearing this. "Yes...... You see I just arrived in Delhi and I wanted to settle down before introducing myself....... So you are wrong about your Arnie...... Now go and apologize and after I am done with my work I will take you out for ice cream okay? "

Anu nodded happily and run over to Arnav and apologized.

Arnav then sent in the nanny to take care of Anu as they left for the conference room for their meeting.

On their way, Arnav whispered and thanked Pihu saving him from Anu's wrath because once you piss her off, she will never forgive you.

"You are welcome but you owe the two of us an ice cream date. " Pihu replied and Arnav smiled as he opened the door for her to enter.

"It will be an honor. "

Aman was shocked seeing his boss shocked at how openly he was flirting with Pihu an employee which he has never done before and the fact that he didn't care shocked him.

"I told you were more than a friend. " One of the designers said and they all nodded. "And they look so good together. "

They all had to agree they did look good together and when they entered, they were happy seeing their grumpy boss openly laughing with Pihu, and for the first time, they felt relaxed around him and vowed to protect their relationship.

Lavanya who was behind them was pissed hearing this and when she entered to find the most shocking scene of Arnav laughing with not only Pihu but the entire designers present which had never happened.

"Enjoy your reign while it last because I will knock off it soon and you will leave here with your tail between your legs like the dog that you are. " Lavanya thought as she arranged the water she brought for them and she was pissed seeing everyone ignoring her.

Aman booted her out seeing her taking too long.

Evening.
Rathore Mansion.

Isha, Shashi, Buaji, Payal, and Khushi stared at Rudra in shock as he eat his chicken biryani as if he hasn't eaten in months.

"Wow maa...... This is amazing, why didn't you prepare this sooner? " Rudra exclaimed as he munched on her dinner not taking even looking up.

Isha giggled which made Rudra frown and he lifted his head to his mother to find her laughing hysterically and turned to the Guptas who were staring at him in shock it confused him seeing their plate still intact and so was his mother's.

"Oh, son you are eating from the kitchen of Khushi and not me, and look at how messy you are eating as if you haven't eaten for months. " Isha laughed and Rudra realized his folly and composed himself and stared at the plate which was now empty.

"Thank you Khushiji. "

He run out of there embarrassed as he heard the laughter of the elders and he cursed himself for embarrassing himself in front of Khushi.

Rudra slept on his bed tossing and turning because he was still not satisfied but he couldn't come down for more after his fiasco.

He stood up and checked the time on his phone and realized it was midnight and he sneaked out of his room and into the kitchen.

He was silently praying there were some leftovers of the biryani his Khushi made.

He opened the fridge and beamed seeing some leftovers.

He immediately reheated it in the microwave and played biryani is my favorite food on his phone.

He started dancing oblivious to a pair of eyes watching him in shock.

The microwave pinged indicating the food was heated and he happily took it out and started digging into it not caring it was hot.

He stopped eating when he heard something clear their throat and looked up to find an amused Khushi at him.

"You don't have to feel embarrassed am honored the great RSR enjoyed my food because to tell you the truth I have always been insecure about my cooking no matter how much my family and people compliment it....... But I believe it now seeing how much you are enjoying it." Khushi confessed as she walked up to the fridge and took three water bottles and bid him goodnight.

"Khushi wait. " Rudra called and Khushi turned and saw him walk up to her. "Always believe in yourself because you are good and I thank you for agreeing to come live with us..... It hasn't been a week and your family had managed to make my mother glow..... Thank Khushi. "

Khushi smiled and tiptoed and kissed Rudra on his cheek and shyly run upstairs leaving Rudra smiling widely as if he just won a lottery of the century.

This was noticed by Isha who had also come out of her room to fetch some water.

"Devi Maiya thank you. "
