"Varian? Sorry to disturb you but I made your favorite-" Quirin started.

No one was in the lab. 

"Varian?" He called again. 

Rapunzel walked in from behind him. 

"Varian! Oh." Rapunzel said.

Eugene and Cassandra walked into the room. They looked around. 

"Huh. He's not here." Eugene said.

"How'd you manage to figure that out Fitzherbert?" Cass hissed.

"Where did he go?" Rapunzel asked.

"Did Valentino summon him or something?" Eugene asked. 

Rapunzel examined the bedroom. She saw a white piece of paper folded like an envelope. She picked it up. She opened it. She gasped shockingly. She ran out of the bedroom. 

"Guys, guys!!! Look at this!" Rapunzel held up the note.

"What's it say Blondie?" Eugene asked.

"It says I have to do this. Sorry for everything. I probably won't make it back home. Varian." Rapunzel read.

"Have to do this? Have to do what?" Eugene asked.

Cass saw an open cabinet. She saw all sorts of tools.

"What else was in here?" She asked to Quirin.

Quirin looked at the cabinet. 

"I put a knife in there. One that I use for gathering vegetables." He answered.

Cass eyes widen. She and Rapunzel exchanged nervous glances. 

"What does that mean? Oh. Oh! Oh!" Eugene yelled.

"We have to get to him before it happens." Rapunzel said.
