"Varian! What happened?!" Rapunzel yelled. 

I pulled my gloves up. Great question, I'm not sure how to tell her about Daddy the guy who I'm currently sleeping with. I don't think I should tell her about him.

"Just an accident." I say standing up. 

She grabbed my hand. I wince.

"It looks painful. How did this happen?" She asks taking my glove off. 

I look at her.

"Eh, an accident with a saw. I was trying to break a rock material when this happened." I lie.

She examined my scars. She examined my face. She sees the scars on my neck. She moves her hand to touch it. I start to shake. Her hand feels like Val's. Smoke perfumes the air. I see his shadow forming behind Rapunzel. I push away from him startled.

I fall and break my desk. I breathed heavily. The room smelled normal.

"Varian! Are you okay?" Rapunzel said running over.

I breathe. I shakily stand up.

"You have to tell me what's going on." She said.

"Sorry princess I can't." I say walking out.
