(3RD POV)

Pregnancy. 

The process of bringing a little one into the world. 

Not too long after Y/n and Maleficent's Wedding, Y/n started to feel sick, vomiting almost everywhere. While being in absolute disgust Maleficent was concerned for her so they called in Estella to check up on her.

Estella arrived at the cave with Borra.

"Good Morning!" Estella cheerfully greeted the tow as Borra grunted.

But Maleficent was to busy being considered over his lover

Estella watched as a hand appeared from inside the nest and weakly waved at her.  

Both Estella and Bora share a concerned look.

"I think it would be best if you stay here" Estella suggested to Borra.

He nodded in agreement, not too sure if that was Y/n hand or another, either way, he wasn't going to check it out.

Borra handed Estella her bag of potions and with a kiss goodbye, he flew off.

Estella walked down closer to the nest and looked down only for her eyes to widen in pure shocked.

Y/n laid there like a mummy. Her usually bright skin had lost its glow and she was lost a lot of weight, you could have seen her bones poking out from her skin. 

Estella got smelled vomit causing her the step back and covered her nose, trying not to vomit.

All possible scenarios went through Estella's head.

Did she have some sort of pledge? Was she food poisoned? 

"Be honest with me Docter, am I going to make it?" Y/n asked. 

Estella didn't know if she was joking or not due to the lack of joy she would usually having in her voice was completely replaced by a monotone voice. 

"Are you feeding her?" Estella asked Maleficent.

He gave her an irritated look.

"Of course I am"

His face drooped in a sad expression.

"But she only vomits it out every time the only thing her body would allow in is water" He explained. 

For the first time in a while, Maleficent felt true fear. Fear of losing Y/n, only two months they've been married. He could lose her now.

Estella continued to examine her friend. When it hit her once she noticed something different from her body. Despite wearing a dress it was visible there if you didn't look twice you would have missed it. 

It was a bump. A baby bump. It looks like she was 6 weeks now. It does add up since they been married for about three months now. 

A smirk came to her face.

 "Well, well, well look like you two did the horizontal tango" She teasingly said.

Y/n boney hand grabbed Estella's dress.

She looked up to her with a weak smile.

"You mean..."

Estella kneeled in front of the nest and place her hand on top of her friends head, smiling.

"That's right, congratulation Y/n, you're pregnant"

(Your POV)

Pregnant? 

That explains it. Something is growing inside of me, a little baby. The thought only was enough to warm my heart. I had so many things ran through my mind. What would the baby look like? Would they be born with wing or not? Would it the birth be complicated since my body wasn't naturally made to hold a fey for...how long? 

Maleficent kneel beside me and held my hand causing me to look at him. He could probably tell I was nervous. 

"Thank you Y/n. I never expected to be a father and because of you that's possible but I promise, I'll be by you're side no matter what, you don't have to worry about"

I smiled at him and leaned over hugged him. Feeling a bit emotional at what he said.

I suddenly burst into tears.

Maleficent let go of me and place his hand on my cheek giving me a worried look.

"Are you okay? Are you in pain?" He asked.

"I-I that was so sweet of you to say" I sobbed. 

Maleficent looked confused that's when Estella placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry about the crying, it's a part of the pregnancy along with other side effects" She explained. 

I wiped my tears away and listened, quite curious.

"Other side effect? Should I be afraid?" Maleficent asked nervously as he glanced at Estella.

Estella looked as though she thinking.

"Well the vomiting is still going to think but her sudden moods are unpredictable" She explained as she looked through her bag a smile plastered onto her face.

"This amazing honestly. A Fey mixture with yours. I wonder how they react to-" Estella then does on expressing her 

I still couldn't believe it. Oh, wait till Dival found out.

Despite having a troubled start to my pregnancy after Estella check up on my she gave me apple sauce along with some other fruits. When I had tasted it, I started to cry because it tasted amazing. With my new diet, I started carving to most particular things in the strangest hours. Not to mention my body is swelling and my random outburst of emotions. 

~3RD POV~

It was three in the morning, the sun wasn't in the sky as yet and the residents of the Moors was fast asleep except for one. 

Y/n laid away in her comfy nest she shared with Maleficent. She was now four months now only three more months till her child gets here. 

She was hungry but she didn't want to annoy Maleficent as he laid peacefully on his side sleeping. 

Y/n smiled at the sight, she almost didn't want to wake him up. 

Well almost. Right now she and her unborn was hungry.

She tapped him.

"Maleficent" She whispered. 

He grunted but other than that was still asleep. 

She sighed before she started to violently shake him stringing him up to glance harshly at her.

Her already sensitive heart felt broken when he looked at her like that. 

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have wake you" She apologised through quivering lips are she looked down not have the heart to look at him with her teary eyes.

Maleficent sighed and ran his hand through her hair regretting what he did. He knew she was fully herself and he wasn't use to her asking for basic stuff. He still needs some time to just to it.

He turned to face Y/n proper his hash look softens.

"I'm sorry Y/n I didn't mean to-" He spoke in his deep morning voice. 

What did he do? All he knew if he didn't apologise and make her feel better he'll be sleeping outside for a while.

He pulled her in for a hug.

"No, I'm sorry for being so emotional I just wanted something to eat" She explained. 

Thank goodness. He thought he had woke him up for... but knowing her she would have woken him up a different way.

He softly played with her hair.

'It's alright love, tell me, what do you want to eat?" 

"Well I craving grilled chicken with lettuce and those small cheer tomatoes" She told him.

Sounds normal enough.

"And I want this separately. I want a tuna sandwich with cumbers and pickles with muster" 

Maleficent started to howl with laughter but quickly covered his mouth. That was a very odd request and honestly, he was both disgusted and amazed. 

Y/n felt embarrassed at her lover laughing so she pulled away from his embrace and crossed her arms as a blush of embarrassment flushed her cheeks.

"Just- go and get my meal" She ordered. 

Maleficent leaned forward and placed a kiss on Y/n's forehead before he got up for the nest and made his way out to the cave chuckling to himself. 

Once he returned from Estella where they always get Y/n's food. She was waiting for him. 

Maleficent handed her over a basket filled with what she asked for as he laid back down on the nest with his back turned to her. 

"Maleficent, thank you" Y/n spoke.

A smile came to Maleficent face.

"Don't worry too much about it Y/n it's the less I could do"

(Your POV)

The habit of my waking up early in the morning caving something became normal. It to me sometimes to adjust to the fact that I tried my best to start moving more since I began to cramp and could sleep so most of the times I would walk around especially in the night. Not to mention it got worse when I was 20 weeks.

(3rd POV)

Y/n was finished walking around the cave since she was feeling cramped. She was now laying on the nest trying to read. It seems like every time she starts to read a page she blanks out a second and forgets she was left off leaving her confused and irritated. 

She gave the book a rest and began sipping her water when she heard wings flapping she looked up from the nest to see Maleficent, who had just landed and make his way towards her. 

"Good morning, Y/n" He greeted as he sat at the end of the nest.

"Good morning Maleficent" I greeted back.

"Would you mind if I massage your feet? I heard from Estella that around this time your feet are swollen" 

I looked at him as a plan started to happen in my head.

It looks like I was smiled because Maleficent sighed.

"No I will not massage your breast Y/n"

I gasped in shock and placed my hand dramatically on my chest.

How did he know I was thinking that. I pouted but he suddenly started to massage my feet causing me to gasp.

"Oh thank you. I just realize how sore they are" I smiled.

"No problem"

There was a comfortable silent before Maleficent spoke again.

"Do you have any names for the child?" He asked.

"Yes. Do you?" 

He nodded as I smiled.

"Well let me hear them!" I excitedly exclaimed. 

"If it's a boy I like the name Conall and if it's a girl Mal" 

I nodded.

"I like the name for the boy but the girl's name, no" 

He tiled his head to the side.

"Oh, how so?"

"It's short for my taste" I said trying not to laugh once I realize something.

"Honestly it's basically your name without the 'eficent'" I giggled then gasped as he squeezed my foot. 

"Ow!"

"Fine, we have one boy name. What were you're choices?"

"Well, I was thinking of Diavial for a boy and for a girl I have two names Nyx and Iaso honestly I can't choose between to two"  I shared as a tried yawn came from my month. 

"Hm. I like both of them as well. Well, I think when they come we'll know what to name them" Maleficent said as he finished massaged my feet and came over to me and place a kiss on my forehead.

After that, the next weeks of my pregnancy went by without complications with the help of Maleficent, Diaval and Estella. They've helped me with almost everything. 

I was been any day now. Maleficent was nervously pacing up and down the cave as Diaval curiously looked at my belly.  He had just seen my baby kicked. 

He then poked my belly causing me to laugh.

"I still can't believe that there is something inside you" He mumbled.

"Of course there it. And Maleficent stop pacing! You are making me and the baby nervous" I told him as I rubbed my belly. 

He stopped and sighed.

"I'm sorry. I'm just nervous. he baby could come out any day now and Estella isn't anywhere around" He explained.

"Maleficent, she just left to get to get some water nothing bad is going to happen" I reassured him.

He sighed and held his head.

"You do know everyone that say that something bad happens, right?" He told me as looked at me with an annoyed look on his face. 

I smiled at him and took a deep breath in, closing my eyes. 

Suddenly I feel my wetting myself for the fifth time in my pregnancy and a small pain came from my lower abdomen. 

"Are you alright?" 

"Yeah, I think I peed myself" I embarrassingly told him. 

I heard Maleficent sighed.

"Again?" 

"You are acting as though this always happens! It's only the fifth-Ah!" I couldn't finish my sentence since a scream of pain come to my mouth as the pain from my lower abdomen intensive. 

Maleficent quickly came to my side.

"Are you alright?" Maleficent asked me worriedly as he placed his hand on my forehead.

I couldn't look at him since my eyes were close in pain as I realized what was happening.

I'm in labour.

"Diaval! Go and find Estella now!" I quickly ordered as I started taking quick breaths in and out. 

He quickly got up from his kneeling position and ran off to find Estella. 

I grabbed on to Maleficent's hand and squeezed it. It seemed as though it was a bit to tight since I got a glance of pain on Maleficent's face as I was holding his hand. 

"Maleficent they're coming!"

"Now!? Can you hold them a bit longer until Estela is here?"  

"Hold them back? Hold them back?! Maleficent if they want out they are coming out!"

Luckily Estella was too far away from the cave and she was able to deliver my two angels. 

Did I say two? Yes, that's right, I had twins. 

It was two baby girls that looked exactly like me but with Maleficent's wings though one child had Maleficent's horns while the other didn't which I was made me extremely happy. 

We named the one with the horns Iaso and the other one Nyx. 

When Maleficent returned to the cave. I saw him in shock as he stood at the entrance of the cave. He slowly made his way to the nest and dropped to his knees beside me. 

Tears had slowly came to his eyes.

"Can- Can I hold them?" His voice was nothing but a whisper.

I smiled and handed over Iaso first and then Nyx.

Tears were now rolling down his cheeks now as the biggest grin I've ever seen lite up his face. 

This was one of those smiles that was filled with so much joy. 

"Hello my children, I'm your father" He greeted them with a gentle voice. 

I watched as Iaso opened her eyes for the first time to watch her father. I have never seen so much joy on Maleficent face until today. I would have never seen myself falling in loving and having children, let alone human babies. 

I leaned in and gentle touched Nyx's head.

"Welcome to the world, little ones"
