Steven was in a dark room standing alone.

"Mom was a Diamond who invaded Earth, saw its beauty and its worth. Mom made an army and fought herself. Did that even end up mattering when she facked her own shattering?"

Steven walked up to the bathroom sink. He applied shaving cream on his face and shaves off the on his chin.

"Mom lived in hiding by the name of Rose with the friends she made and the form she chose. Now all that's left of her exists in us and I think that we can all agree..."

Steven washed his face and glanced down at his gemstone before buttoning up his shirt.

"This is a little bit upsetting. I'd rather think about... a wedding!"

Steven slides out of the bathroom happily into the living room where The Crystal Gem, Y/n and Greg were preparing for the wedding. 

" Let's think about cake. Let's think about flowers. Let's thinking about dressing up and dancing around for hours. There's an awful lot of  we could be thinking of, but for just one day let's only think about love~"

On Steven's bed Sapphire covered her eyes as Rubby walked in, her eyes covered by hands as Y/n lead her.

"Okay, Sapphire. I gotta get dressed for our big day now, so no peeking! And no future vision either!"

Sapphire giggled.

"Okay!"

Steven sat on the couch admiring how cute Sapphire and Ruby were acting when Preal stop to him.

"Oh, Steven. I just wish I could've said some things sooner about Rose, and Pink"

"We could think about lies, that we told in the past" 

"They took it so hard"

"You could think about hurt feelings and how long they can last"

"How can you move on?"

"Or we could think about hope!"

"Hope?" Pearl repeated, confused.

"You know I've been hoping!" 

"About what?"Pearl asked.

"That everything's better now everything's out in the open!"

Steven placed Pearl's top hat on her and smiled at her as she smiled adjusting her hat on her head. He then stepped outside the house onto the porch to find Bimuth wearing a suit armour. 

"Bismuth, is that what you're wearing to the wedding?" Steven questioned her.

"It's the nicest thing I own" Bismuth informed him as she flexed causing spikes to pop out of her shoulder plates.

"Lookin' sharp" Steven said pointing finger guns at her.

" We could think about flowers. We could think about cake. We could think about wonderful promises we have the power to make. There's an awful lot of awful things we could be thinkin' of. But for just one day, let's only think about love!~" Steven sang as he walked downstairs to the beach to help Amethyst as she decorated the alter with pink roses.

She looked at the rose in her hand.

"Maybe I shouldn't have picked up roses. Might be a little controversial."

Steven looked at the roses sadly as he descended down the ladder.

"We could all rethink, how we feel about Rose. When it comes to Pink and the things that she did in the past, I suppose"

Amethyst landed against the ladder and looked at the rose again. 

"Yeah" She responded. 

"Or we could both feel better, 'cause we could think about how, we could think about us, and we could think about now!"

Steven playfully punches Amethyst's shoulder and they dance together for a while.

"Well, if we don't use these, we're gonna need something else" Amethyst told him.

"No worries! Peridot's gathering more flowers right now. I'll go get her" Steven informed her.

Steven used the Warp Pad and warped near the barn.

He hummed as he made his way to Peridot who stated down the cater left by the barn.

"Peridot?" He called at her.

"What if Lapis was right? Sooner or later the Diamonds are going to come for the Cluster. We're all going to die!" She exclaimed turning to face Steven.

Steven started to sweat, knowing to possible of that happening was high and the fact Y/n was here but them at high risk of getting caught but some many things happened and without Y/n it would not have been possible and today was only about love

"We could think about war, we could think about fighting. We could think about long lost friends we wish we were inviting" Steven sand as he looked up to the sky referring to Lapis.

"We could think about the broken gems on the Cluster at the planet's core" Steven looked down to the ground referring that the Cluster is safe and bubbled.

"Or we could think about the bubble we made so that they can't be hurt any, they can't be hurt anymore! We could think about joy! We could think about pain! We could think about sunshine! We could think about rain!" He sang as he lead Peridot down a hill and warped back to the Beach house where everyone was all ready.

"There's an awful lot of awful things we could be thinking of~ but for just one day, let's only think about..." Steven sang as he ran passed the others and opened the door to the porch followed by his friends as they could get a good view of the guest and Sapphire wearing her tuxedo.

"Just one day, let's only think about... Just one day, let's only think about..."

Steven then jumped off the porch and floated down to Sapphire singing his final word.

"Loooooooooove!~"

With that Steven signalled everyone to start this wedding.

Everyone started to walk down to the aisle as Greg lead, playing on his guitar. 

"You nervous?" Steven asked Sapphire.

"I'm not" She told him.

Steven glanced down at her feet to see ice formed there but she quickly stomped on it.

As the Crystal gems, Y/n, Greg and Connie walked down the aisle Peridot stated throwing flowers.

"Flowers for you! Flowers for you! Flowers for you!" 

 She threw the flowers so hard that it knocked Mr Fryman out of his chair.

Steven looked at her in bewilderment as she walked up to him.

"Wedding commander, all flowers have been deployed!" 

"Thanks, Peridot" He thanked her. 

Greg sat down and continued to play his guitar as Ruby to step outside the house wearing a white gown. When Sapphire turned to see her, she grinned widely. She began to hurry down the stairs to the alter leaving burnt footmarks behind causing Grey to speed up the song.

Ruby suddenly burst into flames as she dashed up to the altar leaving fire behind the highly flammable aisle. Amethyst and tried to put out the fire by stepping at it as Y/n came to help with a fire extinguisher.

Not knowing how to use it Y/n accidentally sprayed it on her before at the fire which Amethyst didn't mind as she licked off of her face.

Once Ruby was at the alter Greg stopped playing his guitar as Steven cleared his throat.

"Dearly beloved Gems, humans, lions and leopards big and small, living gourds. Onion"

"We are gathered here today to celebrate Ruby and Sapphire, two of my favourite people, who combine into one of my other favourite people. You all probably know her as Garnet. She's their love, given form. Now it's your turn to talk about that" Steven said as he stepped back so they could talk.

"I know this is all kind of silly, I mean, we've been together for 5,750 years" Ruby blushed.

"And 8 mouths" Sapphire added.

"I used to feel like I wasn't much good, just one of me on my own. But when we're together, it feels like it's okay to just be me. So I wanna be me, with you, an-and, not even the Diamonds will come between us. And if they try, we'll beat em up!" Ruby said as she punches and kicks furiously into the air making Sapphire giggle.

"Ruby, my future used to look like one single, obvious stream, unbending 'til the end of time. In an instant, you pulled me from that destiny, and opened my eye to an explosion of infinite possible futures, streaking across space and time, altered and obliterated by the smallest force of will" Sapphire said poetically causing Steven and Ruby to look at her in awe.

"What I mean is" Sapphire said as she held Ruby's hand.

"You changed my life. And then, I changed your life. And now, we changed our lives"

"Bismuth, the rings" Steven called.

Bismuth didn't movie so Amethyst gentle bumped Bismuth with her elbow.

"Hey Bismuth, that's your cue"

Bismuth was crying, touched my their vows approached them with the rings. Sapphire puts on the copper ring on Ruby, and Ruby puts on the tin ring on Sapphire.

"Ruby, do you take this Gem to have and to hold, on this and every other planet in the universe!?" Steven asked her.

"I do!" She answered.

"And Sapphire, do you-"

"I do" She interrupted him.

"You didn't let me finished" He whispered.

"I'm just very excited" She said calmly.

"Then by the power vested in me by the state of  Delmarva, I now pronounce you... Garnet!"

Ruby held Sapphire in her arms began to twirl her around, as the couple fused back into Garnet. The guest cheered for to official couple. 

PARTY TIME!!!, Nightfall 

(Your POV)

 The wedding reception was in full swing. Sadie, Connie, Jenny, Kiki and I stood behind Garnet as she threw the bouquet of roses behind her. However, she threw it so high up and it disappeared into the sky, leaving us to look up at the sky in bewilderment.

"That's not coming down anytime some is it?" Jenny asked.

I shook my head not.

"No, I doubt"

After that everyone was in small groups talking. Jenny and I were talking to each other.

"So how's your first wedding Y/n?" She asked.

"It's was wonderful! It's so nice to hear their vows to be together for the rest of the lives"

"So you going to ask Sour Cream to dance with you?" She suddenly asked with a smirk.

I started to fluster and subconsciously played with the end of my hair.

"Oh I don't really want to bother him"

Jenny wrapped her arms around my shoulder.

"Now let me tell you something. Sour Cream is a shy guy. I bet you he wants to dance with you but I to shy to come out to you" She informed me making me confused.

"But we have been dating for months now"

"Well make you could go up to him and you ask him to dance" She suggested. 

"But isn't it tradition for the guy to ask the girl to dance?"

"Girl we are at a lesbian gem wedding tradition is way out the window at this point"

I looked at her and smiled.

"Here I'll be right back" I said as I handed her my cup and went over to the DJ booth where Sour Cream was.

I held out my hand for him and place the other one behind me.

He looked up to me confused.

"May I have this dance?"

He looked shocked at first but smiled, a blush painted his cheeks.

"Sure" With that, he put to a slow song on repeat and took my hand and I lead him to the dance floor.

I brought his left hand up to my lips and placed a kiss on his knuckles rear his ring.

He chuckled and did the same thing with my hand causing me to blush. He wrapped his arms around underneath my left armpit as he raised my right hand above my shoulder. 

We began to waltz to the song. There were times where I would step on his foot causing me to apologize frantically which he would laugh it off. He twirled me as a laugh left my lips. I couldn't remember the last timed I danced. He then spun me outwards to spin me back in his chest, holding me there as his arm wrapped around me. He then dipped me causing me to gasp not expecting that as I wrapped my arm around his neck. Pulling me up we grinned at each out as we continued to sway to the song.

 I rest my head on his chest taking a deep breath of his strong cologne and closed my eyes.

"It's so nice to see who humans could make a moment last forever " I said.

I suddenly started to cry. Sour Cream quickly noticed and held my chin up and wiped away my tears. 

"You okay Lilac?" He asked, worried written over his face.

I nodded.

"I guess I'm emotional at weddings" 

My tears started to come on its on that when I realized. They weren't my own.

I glanced up just in time to see the sky darken and Blue Diamond's ship and she wasn't alone.
